When Franklin asked about Mikey's backstory I thought Frank's gonna call him out, but in the end he was worried about him. Frank's no less than real homie.
Glowstick Foxcat's Gaming Channel I’m pretty sure he’s laughing when he’s describing how Lamar looked when he was in the middle of saving him in the mission “Lamar down”
Everyone’s talking about Trevor tripping, but I feel not enough people talk about Franklin and Michael’s conversation at the end. It’s one of my favourite conversations in the game
To me, that's why ending B makes a lot of sense as well. Knowing that, in Franklin's mind, if Michael could betray his best friends, what more with some kid he just met?
When Michael tells franklin he’ll understand why he did what he did someday. That’s powerful in my eyes. One day, Franklin may understand why Michael found his way out, he had children for gods sake. What a good emotional cutscene this mission had
We can see the conflict in Franklin's eyes, too. He cares for Micheal, but still has doubts because of how Micheal went out to be a traitor for the sake of his own
@@shortking_05especially in our culture snitching on ya gang a big no no so the streets in Franklin can’t rock with it but the businessman in him also sees why he did t
The scene hits even harder now that we know that Franklin would go on to become a successful CEO with his own family. He definitely would do what Michael did.
Does it make it better that it was improvised? Trevor wasn't suppose to trip there but he did, and Franklin's actor started laughing. Then Trevor freaked out at him and they just kept rolling with it.
EatingPigs# they do motion capture with the actors. Steven Ogg, the actor who voiced and did mo-cap for Trevor, tripped in this scene and just improvised.
At 12:33, you can really see how Franklin is saddened and disappointed by the fact that his father-like mentor did that kind of bad stuff. R* used this perfect scene to express how much Franklin was Michael's own son, seeing your father and knowing that your father betrayed people.
I thought i was the only one who saw that. We know franklin sees a father in michael but almost no one acknowledges that through the game Franklin respect for Michael starts to fade?
@@dukiroki6891 Michael acknowledges Franklin as a son. Idk if he was being sarcastic when he first introduced Franklin to Trevor. Michael says “This is Trevor he’s my best friend, this is Franklin he’s the son I always wanted”
@@rosebent7916 Trevor has loyalty. He grieved for Michael. Then Michael faked his death and couldn't give a shit about his crew from the North Yankton job.
what makes me like this mission is that Franklin will do anything just to help a friend. Even if that means legit killing more than 12 men and stopping something from killing Michael. Franklins a real one.
@@staringcorgi6475 that’s why I didn’t mention Trevor, they already knew Trevor was coming and they prepared for him to come, they didn’t expect Franklin to come. That’s legit why Trevor came I think(?)
Man, you know perfectly how to act ingame, i mean, not running indoors like others do, walking slow , running when necessary, acting real. Love your gameplays. The only gameplays i watch of gta are from you. True GTA player.
@@dankestmemes9843 he’s saying the player doesn’t make any unnecessary mistakes like walking into a wall instead of a door, it makes the walkthrough feel cinematic
Fact about this mission: Most of the intro cutscene was improvised due to Trevor falling on the fence. During the motion capture, Trevor's voice and mo-cap performer Steven Ogg tripped on the fence and Shawn Fonteno broke out laughing. Steven improvised his freak out reaction and the scene was kept in the game as a result, despite the prevalence of broken English ("you're not long for this earth") and the smiles on the faces of both Ogg and Fonteno throughout.
As well as the IMDB, as in here: "In the beginning mission "Fresh Meat" Trevor is going to meet up with Franklin and hops over a small fence and trips, sending him into a rage at Franklin who laughed at his accident. This scene was accidentally improvised, as Trevor's voice and motion capture performer Steven Ogg actually did trip over the fence and Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) broke out laughing as a result. Steven Ogg completely improvised his freak out reaction. Look closely at Franklin and Trevor's faces during this scene, they are visibly trying to hide laughter and smiling, since the motion capture software also captured their facial expressions."
The comment section must be full of " Fun fact: The part where Trevor tried climbing the fence he fell while blablabla.. " Like seriously, everyone knows that, right?
3:37 "I told you, he ain't my jilao." Looks like only Chinese would find this funny, but for me this is actually the best quote I've ever heard in this game.🤣🤣🤣
Are you chinese? Because your user name sounds very oriental, but I don't want to make the insulting mistake about confusing a chinese with a japanese; or a japanese with a korean, etc. Because I'm very clear that just because those countries are oriental, doesn't mean that there exactly the same in food, languages, or culture. Also I want it to ask you (if you are a chinese) what means "jilao"?
Fun fact: He actually was supposed to jump over the fence during the production of this cutscene, but the actor who plays Trevor's body (i think it's Steven Ogg, but i may be wrong), failed the jump, but they chose to use the one he failed the jump.
You know, guys, some GTA 5 missions of Story Mode have funny things. Including this mission of Fresh Meat. And it was technically funny on the first part of this mission. Also, there are some brutal deaths at the slaughter house that some Chinese gang members got shredded and juiced up by a machine. Just like Molly Shultz got shredded by a jet engine.
Yeah if you have a shootout in a slaughterhouse theres rules to tragedy 1: one guy might get shoot and fall to acid if there is 2: a guy might fall into a meat grinder if there not careful 3: a guy can gut cut to pieces by saw blades 4: another guy could get cut up in a meat grinder

Jonathan Brown shit i dont. its expensive as fuck. besides weather the traffic is shitty and tons of Mexicans. cant even work at a fast food restaurant without speaking Spanish. L. A. is only fun when your rich
We are women we are free, We're bringing an end to the patriarchy, We are women, hear our pain, We are women, hear out shout We are women, we have no doubt, We are women, we are free, We are... Shut the **** up After the jog they still carry on. LETS ALL MAKE A SONG We are women, we are free...
FYI: Realistically, if they kept Michael hanging upside down for so long, he's probably dead because if you hang upside for too long, blood rushes to your head and your aneurysm bursts.
0:26 actually a complete accident and they went along with it, franklins laughter was completely genuine, This fact is indeed a legend I accidentally was misinformed is I apologize , still an awesome scene
@@RJTheCerealGuy yeah, it's not true at all. That motion capture equipment is very expensive and a fall like that would stop the scene. Ogg has said this.
I like this scene shows Trevor as a more grounded character struggling with his insanity instead of the ret /ard with no regard to anything that we usually get. it would have been much better if the character was like this.
I haven't even played GTA5 yet, but watching this was just as entertaining as watching one of my favorite action shows, or something like that......can't wait to play this game.
He was in conflict. He left the hood for the sake of his own, but then discovered Michael did pretty much the same. He probably was angry at both Micheal and himself
0:29 i was so amazed with their acting skills in this part but only to find out that trevor wasnt supposed to trip over the fence that caused franklin to laugh
6:26 Pretty fucking insane place if they have a big vat of acid just sitting out in the open. They could've just given Michael the acid, instead of giving Franklin the chance to come rescue him.
