Lamar sets up a drug deal using Stretch's help (Mission - The Long Stretch) and, it goes wrong. He does it again (Mission - Hood Safari), and it goes wrong again. Then, he does the same thing all over again for the third time (Mission - Lamar Down), and unsurprisingly it goes horribly wrong. What's up with Lamar?

Robloxgaming pretty much. I also like their weapon choices Michael with a rifle. Precise, powerful, long distance, but can easily be used against ones close to you. Trevor with the Combat LMG. Lots of ammo, tank, cover fire, can be unpredictable with its shots and at its target. Franklin I guess with a regular pistol. Small, compact, good side arm, but works better with other weapons backing it up. I think it’s genius just with the weapons that they are given in the cutscenes that represent their character. Pretty weird huh 🤔??

To be honest, Tanisha and Lamar pissed me off in this part. How Tanisha be mad at Frank for not wanting to save him? Lamar has been nothing but a thorn in Frank's side. Then Tanisha is flaunting her relationship around and putting Frank down to save Lamar because Franklin actually accomplished a goal albeit in a controversial way. It's just a game, but still. lol

thats the whole point of the character...telling you she wants change, etc... it portrays that young black women are indecisive and hypocritical and they dont even realize it themselves... why would you hate a character? this is who she is and it makes the story much better if you understand the portrayal. thats why franklin in the end of the game phone convo says "thanks for the lecture" in a sarcastic tone.... because he realizes who she is... and he has moved on...

The opening scene raises a moral question. On one hand, Franklin is right, all they did was drag him down from making money and made him live in the past with fantasy gangwars where he could die any day, but then again, Tanisha is right too, Franklin left the hood and left his family without even saying goodbye, he neglected his friends after leaving the hood and left them to possibly die. I think that Franklin is in the right though. He put his life on the line everyday for the hood and he got nothing, he just went through senselss violence and gangwars to get nothing out of it, they dragged him down and made him fight in a made up war with made up enemies.

I don't see Lamar and Sweet as the same. Sweet tried to better his hood and the Families always putting that first but Lamar seems to be like Franklin wanting to get ahead only failing. Also Sweet wasn't trying to drag CJ down but didn't want to have anything to do with the dream CJ had. In reality Lamar is jealous he isn't Franklin.

A cool detail that would have been awesome is, if you've already done the rampage of Ballas's with Trevor, all the Ballas's know him. So when Trevor starts moving into their camp, it would have been cool to hear "Oh shit! It's that crazy dealer! Run for your lives! He slaughtered half the gang back in Los Santos! Run!"

i mean....i dont hate lamar BUT on this scene i hated lamar and tanisha. Its pretty clear tanisha was being pretty much a jerk. Franklin didnt want to save lamar because lamar bailed on him and said that he wasn't a good friend. Plus Trevor and Michael could have saved him without Franklins help. Lamar is also being a jerk because he talks bad about franklin when he just saved his life! So ya that is proof they were both jerks in this mission

Trevor and Micheal are Franklin's true friends, in my opinion. Sure, Lamar and Franklin are chill, but he was _kinda_ ungrateful towards him for saving his life - Not to mention the part where Franklin gave him money, yet he expected more. Just a person opinion, though. Edit: I somewhat retract my statement. Lamar is a real one, for assisting Franklin in The Third Way. I suppose that was his form of repayment towards him.

Am I the only one who felt bad Franklin after this mission. I mean his former love interest comes to his house and starts to disrespect him just so he can save Lamar. Then Lamar starts being ungrateful to Franklin after he saved him. I tell you that man and that woman have no respect.

I'm still trying for the gold on this mission. I started playing it again because I haven't gotten all gold yet. My first time playing since March of this year.I'm still having fun with my ps3. I will upgrade when the ps5 comes out. That way all the games will be cheap. I got the whole ACreed series for less than $50. I still haven't played my Tomb Raider and MGS lastest one.

Most of the comments here talkin bout how much we hate Tanisha, and, yeah, I totally agree. Franklin's people always trying to get him to help or stay with them at his expense and not returning the favor, barely even a "thank you." They're always going on and on about being there for their homies is important, but they've never done that for Franklin, and don't say that it isn't true because of Lamar helping to boost Devin's rides, he only took part in that because he wanted to get paid. Franklin's always been there for his homies, even when he didn't have to be, so these guys are total fuckin hypocrites, and it's a big reason why I hate CGF Essentially, this is CJ's arc from San Andreas, but shit

Tanisha runs away from the hood, yet berates Franklin from doing the same, Franklin tries to belittle Lamar for doing the exact dangerous bullshit he did only because Lamar didn't make it. The first time I played this mission I was expecting Lamar to either be dead or betray you. A bit of a let down that he wasn't Franklin's main antagonist. All the writing was right there. Lamar is trying to do anything to get out of the hood while Franklin was pretty much leaving him in the dust getting with Michael and his heists. Lamar could have joined the Ballas with Stretch. In the mission with the three, you could clearly see Stretch had his claws dug into Lamar.

Just spotted a mistake! Franklin's character took the black car but when the cutscene at the sawmill started, it showed his personal vehicle. Look at 6:00 - 6:10

Probably cause the game expects the player to take the nearest car to Franklin's house which is his personal vehicle so that is the vehicle they load in the cutscene.

The mission itself is fun, but I HATED Tanisha for roasting Franklin. She has no respect for him at all. I get the original reason why she broke up, but even after Frank tried to escape the hood to get himself a better life, stay out of trouble (despite Michael/Trevor pulling him to their dangerous works), and got a mansion, she STILL acts like a hypocrite and forces him to save Lamar, whom is another idiot, as Franklin knows he is nothing but trouble. And she wanted a doctor, when Franklin clearly has way more money? As a black dude, that is a HUGE accomplishment of what Franklin did, and that girl is just like the other hood people, no care due to pure jealousy that Franklin is better than them and has some sense.
