Maybe you missed this but in GTA3 there's a radio ad about the Monstrociti mentioning that it's amphibious. That's probably why it did so well in the water test lol

My offroad test has always been running the whole map hugging the coast, heading up Chiliad from the Paleto Bay side, and going from the military base up and over Mount Josiah to really test the brakes. Scraping and whatnot doesn't really factor in for me - what matters is being able to do this whole thing without drowning or disabling the vehicle and getting over the most obstacles successfully. The Hellion is still my favorite, Kalahari is very capable for a cheap option, and the Rumpo Custom is a heck of a deal if you can deal with it being top heavy.

depending on the obstacle, scraping means your wheels are being lifted off the obstacle, resulting in less traction and therefore less performance

@@DigitalCarAddict That's when I back up and hit it harder or start gaming the burnout spin. Kills the realism if you're nose down in a pit and suddenly rotate the whole car around with a burnout, but it's a game, after all. Thanks for the reply, love the channel

I’d love to see an additional dirt incline test that is less pass/fail. It seems that the very low power and grip trucks can’t make it up the hill, and everything else gets a 10. So something with some more challenge might make it more clear what the differences in performances are

It's hard to do that and keep it in the same area unless I have a massive hill. I've tested almost 50 vehicles so far. At this point I'm just gonna wait til GTA 6 before I make any massive changes like that

The Walton L35 is my favorite vehicle to be added in the game in a LONG time. I can’t remember the last time I purchased a vehicle on the game without thinking twice upon hearing about it. I have 2 of these trucks in real life and they’re the best.

In my country the Mitsubishi Pajero is called Mitsubishi Montero.Because in Spanish "Pajero" Means (person who masturbates constantly) and they changed his name to avoid problems. That's why I call Momstrociti, Montero and i think its a better name than Pajero

The Walton was the first vehicle i bought from this dlc mainly because I have been wanting a box style S-10 in this game for a long time .. Probably because my very first vehicle was an S-10, it just didn't have a lift kit on it ... The only thing I wish is that they would have made it a Benny's vehicle so you could have the option to make it a lowrider like most of the S-10 were in the 90's when I started driving. But so far, I absolutely love driving it and I haven't found an off road situation it wouldn't handle ... I even had better luck with deep water than you did in this test but it did eventually drown out. Anyways, thanks for another great video!!! Keep up the amazing work!!! I bought it 1st bc its an s10, its a really fun decent truck but it's not fast at all and it likes to flip, has true 4x4 and you can drive over guardrails with it even after you lower it.

Honestly the Monstrociti is just a really cool car overall, I wish it was a bit cheaper since very few games actually feature it despite how successful the Pajeros were in real world off-road motorsport. The HSW version ingame though is absolutely insane, if you lower it you can legitimately keep up with a lot of high tier supercars on road tracks with longer straights lmao

It is actually very similar to the Junco Buggy in FH5, it's a Class 1 Buggy which is what the Ratel is inspired by. Class 1 is basically a Division of Racing Buggy similar to the GT3 Class for Circuit Racing. The Funco on the other hand is a Sand Rail which is basically just meant to go extremely fast in a straight line along Sand Dunes, Desert Flats and Beaches.

They need to add a lift kit mod for the off-road vehicles or bigger wheel size doesn’t really feel like your driving a 4x4 and the snorkels are just cut and past come on rockstar not even a functional snorkel like rip off when you look at prices meant to be open world

You do know that to get full traction and speed you need the lowest ride height? Also you need to pick a certain window upgrade to get even more traction.(Monstrociti) The first test you do would definitely need these uogrades for best results, and some of the other tests would need you to adjust the vehicle to suit

@@GTAndFortniteVideos1The MonstroCiti doesn't have a Spoiler option and instead you have the option to replace the Windows in the back with solid panels which gives you extra traction like a spoiler. The Panels are shown in this video here, normally there's windows there which let you see into the bed. You can see it better in the Customization Video DCA did over the last two days.

the fact that the snorkels don't work is kinda bs how hard is it to code "when equipped on car raise drown depth" or summn because the vehicles that have the snorkle built in can submerged to crazy depths so why not just copy and paste those over and have it active when the snorkel is on the damn car 😂

My limited experience with these 3 has been this. I took each one up the same route on chilliad, leaving the main dirt path multiple times and taking a more difficult route. Mind you, i only tested the HSW MonstroCiti, not the normal variant. My main takeaways for the Monstrociti are that it is extremely capable, yet can roll over easily, as you may expect. It also struggles with harsh and sudden inclines, but its incredible traction and solid torque will typically make up for that. It is my easy number 1 out of these 3. The Walton does better with the harsh inclines, as can be expected, but its lack of torque and overall power make it not nearly as capable. It also surprised me by rolling over more often than the MonstroCiti. And the Ratel is just junk. This test by DCA is extremely solid, but my limited test up Chilliad with the Ratel painted a very different picture. Poor torque, poor traction, poor ground clearance. I would confidently call the Ratel borderline incapable within the confines of my testing. Take all of this info with as many or as few grains of salt as you wish. Much love, as always, DCA.

I’m a bit confused. I have 2 because I’ve had GTA+ for a good while. I chose my trail rig to not have HSW and my race suv variant have HSW and they both have snorkels.. Xbox Series X.. so idk how you didn’t get a snorkel on the normal one?

I must speak for the Déclassé Walton L35 Why pay almost 1.7 million for a small pickup truck when you could (have) have gotten a Karin Rebel for 20k that was way better looking and handling (in my opinion) before the update. This just goes to show how greedy Rockstar is with both player’s in game money and irl money.

This performance in water makes me think it's a re-skinned brawler... that's the only other vehicle I know floats so long as you hold down the accelerator 🚤
