I was a freshman in high school when the heist update was out. I finished high school, college and my conscription until now. It's just surreal when you think about it. We lived in a different world back in 2015. Mind blowing and nostalgic.

The ramming power on this is stellar, much better than that of the Nightshark

How about the Emperor Habanero next? It's a quirky SUV that's fun to mess around with because of its tendency to roll over easily. It's just an overall great SUV that's definitely worth checking out.

This truck is a must have for new players the amount of rockets it can eat is impressive

Back on 360 when I was like 10 this was my favourite vehicle. Owned it on PS4, and ps5. This thing has been faithful to me for three generations of console

One of my favorite things to do with the Insurgent was to take it on a drive and just ram traffic all day. It was so heavy you could direct hit most small cars and it'll keep trucking.

Nice looking build! The thing I love most about the insurgent and heavy big bulky armored vehicles, is the insane ramming capability! You can just bash anyone out of your way! The pick up version is pretty amazing too as you can hold like 9 people I believe! 😆😅👍🏻 good stuff, man!

Even with the glossy or metallic colors, it's got kinda this grungy texture to it, which is pretty cool

I still love this car, very good armor and great offroad. Would love to see a new version that adds more customisation and has bullet proof windows

Do the nightshark next! May be similar to the insurgent but its more fun to drive with (imo)

Emperor Habenero would be nice to see! I made one on FiveM where I could play with the suspension editor, I could kinda recreate a 2002 Lexus RX 300, very nice luxury suv. Definetly gonna get the Insurgent at some point, it is really fun to drive imo. Good idea with a golden secondary colour, never thought of that!

I remember when I would watch my older brother play on his 360, this and the zentorno were the two vehicles I'd mainly see him driving. I remember when he let me play I was just smashing into NPC cars with his insurgent.

The saddest part of my day is when I hear "now, I do wanna mention right out of the gate here guys that this vehicle basically has no visual customization options".

This vehicle just puts a grin on my face, I I'd kill to see more vehicles similar to this, where it's all about armour and shove capability. Sure we have the nightshark and other vaguely similar vehicles, but they just don't look as good as this armoured beast.

I remember the past year 2015 old PS3 I have Insurgent it's been long long time ago I'm driving that truck but it is fun drive

Wish it had the steps where the back doors are and a livery saying SWAT at the side. Because then it be extremely like the one form Fear The Walking Dead and that be awesome.

It's a shame this van hasn't any customization options like liveries, roof parts, skirts, and more. I swear Rockstar should add these options soon

This was my first purchase after i did all the og heists i was really worth the money

I drive the insurgent, its a great all rounder and all, but only thing needing updates are cosmetics. sure its a great car but it could use some more cosmetics, like the turismo r refresh. but then again this car is a classic so i guess it could be untouched.

Maybe the unique map icon could serve as a deterrent to trolls Asian advantage over the Nightshark? As if... That probably attracts them.

Funnily enough, I actually have 2 insurgents, one is a pick up custom, and 2 nightsharks, all for free. Got one nightshark from the podium, and the other from the nightclub guest list way back then. I'm thinking about either selling my upgraded nightclub one and then upgrading the other, or keeping both and making the newer one more of a street build. Can't remember where the insurgents came from, I thought podium, but I just checked and I did not get them from there. Perhaps it was discounted and I bought one, then when the custom upgrade was on discount maybe I got that, then got another? Idk

I’ve been using the pickup custom for heists now that we can’t use the tore-eeee-a-door. I had forgotten how good it is.

To keep up with the SUV class, the 💎Serrano would be nice next

How about the Menacer next. Another armored vehicle that has some visual cuztomisation options

I own both the insurgent and the night shark and not even biased as an OG gta player I still prefer the insurgent to this day. It’s true the night shark is faster and has armor but the insurgent is a better off-roader, has more ramming capability, and can seat 6 players, and costs less than the night shark by a decent margin. You can also throw sticky bombs out of the insurgent which is a must have to kill an oppressor griefer on your ass. And the nightshark and insurgent actually have the same armor capabilities at 27

Yeah I want the insurgent in the casino and I made it all primer black with off-road wheels black color and I took it to the LS car meet and put red headlights on it like I did on my nightshark

Here's an idea: Why not give the Rhino tank its time to shine to show how well it holds up in the GTA world today? Sure, it can't be customized at all, but it's the OG tank that's been a staple for the franchise!

(Don't show nickname and pfp) Vapid radius, very underrated car, looks nothing like real life counterpart, looks like a chunky slammed suv, at least it has unique engine sound. Doesn't offer customization but it has roof spoiler option (variation).

I distinctly remember I had the most fun with this back when it released because it could explode a motorcycle by running it over, even when the person riding it was in your business and had teamdamage turned off… so I’d just torment my friends by blowing up their motorbikes and not even having to pay its insurance. One of my earliest “crying from laughing so hard I couldn’t even press buttons on the keyboard” gaming memories

You used to be able to open the back door of the insurgent, but they closed it because they eventually found out that players would be jumping into the back and killing people with RPG‘s, and when you would come back in order to kill the player, the player were close the back hatch so that way they could not be killed and that’s when they closed it because they found out that players were using that back door and the ability that you could go in there to grief other players are and that’s the explanation that I saw from a video so I just went with it you know it’s really stupid that they closed the back door, but oh well what can you do?

the HVY Insurgent got nerfed, the armor upgrades were removed, it used to take 23 now it takes more like 6 and dies, it used to be my fav suv, now i drive the Jubilee, in fact it was nerfed when the Jubilee came out, it went on sale around the time it got nerfed nd u could get them for around 400k
