@Xen Glaris well they are both about destroying the area arouns you like bridges and such for nitro, but yeah, destroying other cars is fun to watch in replay, also the physics and how much the car gets destroyed are much more fun and interesting than in GTA 5. In GTA 5 its just pure doucheness

@@slickbear9488 A backfire would mean he gets a result worse than expected. So if his ramming had resulted in him getting 3rd or worse, then it could be called a backfire because that is the exact opposite of what he was trying to do.

It is a glitch

it’s a turbo start. At the very start of a race just hold down LT or L2 and the second it says go, let go of LT or L2 and press down RT or R2

Gives a slight speed boost

it’s called curb boosting you go faster

the engine gets a rev boost when the suspension compressed

its called curb boosting, it makes you go faster (hence the huge gap between him and the rest of the pack on the first straightaway)

It's a trick to get their car going faster, called "kerb boosting". I've heard of it recently, but don't know enough about it to properly explain it. There's likely plenty of videos that go into detail about it.
