well, if the game was realistic this would make the game hard and boring to the players, GTA is a game where players can feel like they're invincible.

Dude. THAT is your problem? The shitty AI? Not the fact he is carrying 20 RPG warheads and 9999 rounds of 7.62 ammo? Not the fact Sprite cures bullet wounds? Not the way you can pull up on a motorbike with a sniper rifle and shoot the damn president? It's a game, that's the purpose. I am sure somewhere out there is a very boring game where you actually die as easy as in real life. And chances are, nobody plays it, because you won't get the dopamine rush from feeling invincible.
