Let's be real, Flash could just use the speed force to travel back in time to where Thanos was just born and kill him there. As brutal as _that_ sounds, at least it'll be one of the few ways to prevent Thanos from ever becoming a threat to the whole universe.

It's actually pretty scary when you start running when time is essentially frozen, but then Thanos is still somehow still able to almost keep up and attack you. Just reminds me of the Justice League movie when Superman begins tracking Flash while he's running, and you get that moment of "Oh God he's able to enter my speed world."
