@@sandrohernandez4401 It can, the only reason why its laggy on pc is because its unoptimized and the mod devs didnt have full access to the engine.. they can easily optimize it for ps5, the developer razed said it himself
@@pirrracy Yeah so it makes it larger because of that... Instead of having all the open space to just do whatever you are enclosed making the map feel bigger.
"leave it to the professionals🤡". It's scientifically proven that the more things are scattered on the surface, the bigger this surface seems. Also, by this I don't want to criticize professionals. They had to make vegetation with low density because of the pc limits of those times.
The most mindblowing part is that the other graphic elements remained untouched. The leap in realism of just adding more trees and more leaves is enourmous. All trees seem so perfectly placed. It's just fascinating.
This is what I actually want. Not some overblown graphics mod. I'm okay with the graphics, just give me more immersed world experience, and this mod definitely ticks my needs.
@@lateshow4783 imagine you could use a dirtbike and lose the cops in the forest as you can fit between the gaps that their cars can't, like how the wind farm used to wipe out helicopters
The lack of tree density was one the worst things about GTA 5’s map. They even had higher tree density in the very first trailer (which was on PS3/X360), in the shot where the hikers are on the mountain. So they clearly originally planned to have it but cut it.
Yep, beta images show that the map had more foliage and some more street and traffic assets, but because they wanted to optimize the game for the Jurassic Xbox 360 and PS3, many of those assets were scrapped. I’m hoping GTA VI doesn’t suffer the same setbacks
@@l-v8mc529 they had to cut back on vegetation because they had performance issues with the system they use for trees and such. lol vegetation on ultra still brings my fps below 60, 11 years later, on rtx 3080
what GTA would've looked like if it was made in this new generation of consoles. making it run on an xbox 360 really took a toll on their design department.
i wish this was in the real GTA 5, thats what the game needs, not vast empty fields with nothing but grass and sand, but trees and life, something to catch the eye.
For some reason i always liked how nature looked in GTA 5 and San Andreas. It just looks so different from city, refreshing and cool. Makes me want to walk around to find interesting places
This looks sick, makes the world feel so much more immersive. Atleast outside of Los Santos actually looks like what it was supposed to be. Good job guys.
Instead of pushing for gta 6 to be a larger map, I would rather have a smaller map that’s a lot more detailed. More NPCs scattered throughout and more dense vegetation in the country.
GTA 5 was just really held back by the PS3's processing capability, there is a development image where a part of the map used to have so many trees only for them to delete some in the final version.
@@AxePlays-hc5dj is it though? When I look at the sattelite images from today and from 40 years ago the difference is about the same like this. Maybe northern California has a bit more preserved vegetation.
Just shows you havent stepped outside a city. There are huge forests everywhere but some have been cut down for farming and for building space, thats just how it is.
This is the best "graphic" mod I’ve ever seen so far. Adding realism by actually enhancing the environment. The map looks much more dense. Especially the construction site behind the Vinewood Hills is a day/night difference. Great work, I wish I could mod this onto the PS4.
One of the rare instances where you can’t say “if devs cared about their game” because the [og] gtaV was a masterpiece already. But this really takes it to a whole new and amazing level 👏
I fully understand this would've exploded last gen but man they should've done this for newer gen. Genuinely makes the most boring part of the GTA V map incredibly appealing
@@user-lf6wx5xn9m I'm using a 3070 with an extensive amount of mods including graphic and ENB, around 300 MLOs and plenty more addon cars, I rarely drop frames anymore. Seems like you are either doing something wrong or don't have the necessary files installed.
Well... they were using real life references of California when making gta 5. California itself doesn't have a whole lot of trees due to the climate and other geographical differences, so gta 5 by itself is pretty accurate to real life
This is WAY TOO MUCH better than Rockstar, I dont understand how Rockstar can disappoint us with just one choice of the game game which makes it very unplayable but were glad this mod exist.
Although it looks nice on the video it's not as well made as it can be. There shouldn't just be forests everywhere, there should be bald spots and other types of trees, it should follow the original design more. Also this number of trees would make vehicle traversing a lot harderm
Not to flex or anything, but I got a 4090 and I’m here thinking; damn I wish I could play it like this. But the fact that I actually can is still crazy to me.
@commanderblack5045 then the map would feel even smaller then it is now. And people sure do like to complain that the mountains in the game make the map feel small incoparison
Using a 5800X3D + 4090 + 32GB RAM, the performance hit is notable (using just this mod in game). In 4K with practically everything at maximum (only the grass is at very high). Vegetation has always been a problem in this game and with this mod it makes things much worse. But it's undeniable that the game is MUCH more beautiful and immersive with it. Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Brazil.
