GTA 5 to GTA 6 Character Transfer System: What To Expect! (GTA VI News) 

Would you prefer to start fresh in GTA 6 or transfer your progress from GTA 5?

i dont think there will be a complete account transfer because its a brand new game. However, i do see them rewarding us for playing gta 5 by giving us a sign on bonus or something

We what all of our businesses and our houses and our cars to change to GTA 6 we want everything to go from GTA 5 to GTA 6 we want everything onto GTA 6

If it doesn’t show your character flying from one state to another you most likely will start all over again the clothes would be nice your some of your cars

I think you hit a lot of important points for long term players of gta online and I certainly hope you’re right about most of them. Remember it is not called gta 5 online it’s just gta online. So I’m cautiously optimistic and I sincerely hope that I don’t have to lose any progress whatsoever. Of course at this point all we can do is speculate. But personally I have been playing since prob 2013, character is over rank 500 and I have millions of dollars in the game. I would never throw away 10 years of gameplay and start from scratch. Just can’t do it. I would rather continue playing the current gta online I’ve worked on for 10 years than start at 0 in a new gta. When u are ranked as highly as I am there’s a certain pleasure and sense of power u carry in the game and you’re above like 95% of other players. There’s no way I’m throwing that all away and starting from 0. So I guess all we can do is wait and see what they do. It would be nice for them to release a statement soon bc I’m wondering so hard about this it’s pretty important.

I just hope we keep the characters themselves thats it. After all those years grinding with the one i have i dont want a different one😂

Basically what I would do is put like a cap on how much money can be transferred probably about 10 million to 15 million... Of the obviously liquidated assets that you have let's say your character is worth 5 million in assets and you only get 5 million but if your character is worth a hundred million you would get 15 million... But what I think that they're going to do is if your character is over level 100 then you're going to get a starter pack like a starter car a little bit of spending money 💰 and that's it and that's probably what they're going to do just so it's not unfair

I wish they would put a word out if we can at least transfer the money cause I wouldn’t keep playing the same missions over and over again if you can’t

I basically want it to be what Counter Strike did in that everything gets carried over to the new game, in that case it wouldn’t been CSGO to CS2, but of course a lot better performance wise and whatnot.

I don’t mind starting over for the new online. But I really want previous maps that you can go to on top of the new vice city for online. Maybe not right away but over time. That way gta online players could have a world to play in instead of just Vice city. I thought they would eventually do this for gta 5 online but nope.

The most I’d expect is a one time bonus for returning players. Maybe a free million dollars to buy your first business or something

There isn’t a Character transfer as it’s a different game city and you have to start out fresh like every other player. Nobody knows what is in store for GTA VI online or even the game and the structure of it. So just sit back and wait like everyone else has to do and then wait for the release in 2025. I have to wait longer because I do t have PS5 I have a Gaming PC that cost more than the PS5. So you have to create new characters for GTA VI 6 online there is no character transfer or player transfer. The only thing you can transfer is your social club clan on rockstar social club account and do that.

If y’all really think your progress from GTA online will transfer into GTA 6 then you’re in for a rude awakening. It would literally make no sense to do that in a completely new and different game. I get why y’all would want to do that after spending 10 years with GTA Online but y’all just have to accept that GTA 6 IS A DIFFERENT GAME

Keep all your cars and planes and money then reset the rest for everyone to start over new

I hope it’s only the look of your online character no money or vehicles or level it’s a new game you shouldn’t start at an advantage like that

I think they should make a big heist in gta online that you can only do once. The heist goes wrong like complete hell breaks out. The Feds have access to you bank account. They are closing in hella and they are finally figuring out your case. Now you end up having to flee the gta 5 map but you can only take so much of your money. So you flee the map going to gta 6 map. There will still be updates in gta online your just continuing your characters story. I think the opening scene on gta 6 online could be getting fresh off the boat or plane and into the city in look of work. Like I said gta online doesn’t end and you can still play like you have been for nearly 11 years. This is all an idea of how they could do a lil transfer

You want to know what is scary? The people that don’t want rockstar to allow them to transfer the gta 5 account to 6 are the once that are worried about how much money they make in gta 5 that is why I have a hard time understanding these gta 6 crybabies

Can they do like just jump into gta 6 online server (start from scratch) and then we can jump to gta 5 online server anytime we want it will be NICE, i know its imposibble but if they do its gonna be awesome because some gta 5 online player cannot move on yet

But is GTA V online going to still be active? Is so then ill just make a whole new character for GTA 6 online if that's the case. I don't mind buying more shark cards and starting from scratch all over.
