@@charlyg-2590Still, it so far has the best physics in any GTA game, I also love GTA V with a passion, so hopefully in GTA IV they really improve the graphics and as well combine GTA V and GTA IV into a single game.
@@lawrencemalone-px6qe lol you know nothing about game development Rdr2 engine is an upgraded version of gta v engine with new lightning and physics system and gta vi will be on upgraded version of rdr2 engine Engine is a code thats been upgraded over the years with new techniques and methods
@@RX-rd4sc This is true as long as they don't switch to another game engine. Well, when they have such an advanced game engine, they won't switch to another engine.
@@UnkownxxxxxxxOriginally it was in GTA 5 as Trevor was supposed to die like T1000 on frozen scene. There's still in gamefiles of parts being shot. The feature was added in RDR2 with more realism while not included rdr realism with them being wounded on legs and arms.
People have to remember that at the time there was nothing like GTA IV. Even when GTA V came out, IV had vastly superior physics. RDR2 was the first and only game to exceed it.
This is just because gravity is a little low in Gta 4. We don't know why the devs did such a thing. Apart from that, Gta 4 is very complex, realistic and entertaining in terms of physics. We hope that Gta 6's physics will not be downgraded like Gta 5.
In 2008 GTA IV was only game that was ahead of it’s time, but for RDR2 i can't say that after watching technological advancement of game engines. But when anybody ask me what game they should play for immersive open world experience i'll definitely suggest both RDR1 & RDR2.
rdr2's physics is more realistic as you don't usually flop around like jello when you fall down but rather try to take no damage by keeping your body still and rolling.
What’s crazy to think that GTA IV and RDR2 have a 10 year difference … and if GTA 6 gets delayed to 2026 that’s almost and entire decade between Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 6 so I expect a lot from them. And tbh the trailer of GTA 6 isn’t even close to what we all should expect when GTA 6 comes out 8 years after RDR2 and on a completely different console generation let alone that PS6 will be on the horizon by the time that game comes out so there’ll be hopefully another improvement between GTA 6 on PS5 vs PS6
I think GTAIV is more realistic at the water physics against the explosives because in GTA4 you use a frag grenade, in RDR2 dynamite. If you throw a frag grenade in water it can still explode as its sealed, but the fire on the fuse should be supposed to get distinguished by the water, as a result it shouldn't explode
It didn't distinguish because Rockstar wanted to show us the water physics of the game. We would never see the water physics if dynamite distinguishes.
Bro we know gta iv is great maybe it's the best game in physics till gta v came but don't compare it with a game newer with 10 years for sure rdr2 will be better in somethings
The fun part is that Gta 5's physics were downgraded. So, although Gta 4 is old, it still has more realistic, complex and entertaining physics than Gta 5.
gta4's physics were a bit exaggerated is some cases and the controls were a bit janky as for the jumping from a moving vehicle you need to factor in the different speeds of travel and smoothness of the terrains
@@tonybowman5563 That means you finished RDR 1 but not RDR 2. Everyone didn't like Arthur at first but later they realized how great that character really is.
Gta 5 control is better than gta 4. There is some problem that gta 4 have the control is stiff, just like in rdr1 and la noire on ps3 max payne 3 is where rockstar start to improve the control and gameplay
rdr2 physics is by far the most realistic one. You may choose gta 4 because of "fun," but for realism, rdr2 is better... the ragdoll, when getting shot in the head, looks very identical with real life, too
@@charlyg-2590 No bro, GTA SA is the best-selling PS2 game and has sold 27.5 Million dollars, and GTA IV has sold only 25 Million dollars, so GTA SA has sold more than GTA IV.
