Time for Innervisions label boss and living legend Dixon to come to my nightclub!
Voted the #1 DJ on Resident Advisor for 4 years in a row, the German DJ is known for being able to play for entire nights in clubs, with 8 or 11 hour sets being nothing out of the ordinary for him. As he revealed in an interview on BBC Radio 1, he put his thoughts into this set, finding a middle ground between playing classics and new stuff as well as the middle ground between playing a set at a club and a radio set.

How did you separate the audio so well at the 15min mark when you had to mute the one track? You caught the new song as it was coming in for about a minute but had the copyright track muted?

Tyl er I was just muting everything but the bass to avoid having completely silent audio. If I had my way, the entire track would be "muted" like that, but Content ID is so crazy overpowered that it managed to detect the track just from the first minute of bassline

I don't play the game so at first I thought this is a meme or just someone joking around and made mod similar to Boiler Room. But I see it's an actual collab from Rockstar and Djs that's cool. And I'm glad they didn't pick EDM bullshit or more commercial stuff. These DJs are also well known but not top of mainstream while playing quality music at the same time.

That was like more than 10 years ago, then discovered tech house then moved to deep house then micro house and lo-fi. Then kept digging and discovering more genres of electronic music, but now I don't care about genres and just look for stuff that I like. I've listened some of your uploads. I can already see with your first EP you changed and evolved your style and taste, and you even being on this video proves that. So don't let anyone tell you that your music taste is bad.

I like Solomon and Tale of Us for MC deliveries because they're respectively a bit more trance or electronic... But their sets are so thematic, similar... so TBH I mostly rotate Dixon and TBM now cuz they both got quite variety -- love when Bugatti (Tiga) comes on for TBM, or the entire end of the Dixon set: 5 Seconds (Solar), And Dance [and began cutting himself] (Sharif Laffrey), Sensation (Ron Hardy), and Sharirvari 2013 (Aux 88) -- really dope beats and nice variety -- the variety is what keeps it bumpin'

Out of all of the nightclub DJ's in gta online. Dixon for sure is my fave. I cycled through all of them but ultimately came back to him. Also, these nightclubs on the PS5 are.. just incredible! I got the light show all maxed out in mine. But honestly the truly best part is the dualsense haptics in the nightclub, up in the DJ booth. The controller vibes with the bass line and the beat and it's a truly mesmerizing experience. Almost like actually being in the club.

When I did the mission to pick him up I was like "hmmmmmm he sounds a bit German." Then Dave said Dixon can give the club a taste of Berlin, and then I googled and was like omg those djs are real and Dixon IS German!!!

I love the GTA nightclub djs it's so groovy... lmao I was born in 03 and have barely gotten into GTA lore like business missions heists to make real money buying cars garages and properties. I never knew until recently just what Rockstar had created with the GTA game series but now all I can say is I can't wait for GTA 6

Went through all 4 DJ's as they became available in the After Hours update. Went back to Dixon after all 4 were released in the game and haven't changed it since.
