My theory might be a bit of a stretch but this mystery has been one of the core things about this game so what if this is showing us the last GTA Online DLC before we transition to GTA 6 I think it’ll be pretty cool to end GTA 5 with the mystery.

Waking up for a second in the base during the abduction... inb4 they reveal that all of GTA Online, or everything from a certain point onward (Doomsday or even the original heists), was all just a dream/induced hallucination/simulation that our characters were experiencing and that everything we've done never really happened. That could be how they explain the silliness of redoing the same heists over and over as if they were the first time, all the futuristic vehicles and weapons, all the Halloween strangeness for the past few years, and even just multiple players simultaneously owning the same properties and San Andreas being an island in an endless ocean with the US mainland nowhere in sight. And completely waking up from it would be an easy way for R* to justify the transition into GTA Online 2 / GTA 6 when we will likely have to start all over with nothing.

No. The mount Chilliad mystery ties to unreleased story mode DLCs. They had planned to make an Alien Invasion dlc where Mt Chilliad splits open and aliens crawl out of it (the cracked egg does not mean easter egg, it means alien egg) a hint to it can also be found on the floor painting in the CEO custom garage. There is no mystery anymore, just DLCs that never came to be. Theres assets to zombie DLC, Aliens, and Trevors was likely going to be something spy related that was scrapped and turned into the doomsday heist. This is all verifyable and you can look into it. A lot of the cut content for story mode ended up coming to online in one way or another, Arena Wars DLC contains assets for the zombie DLC that was planned for example.

Most definitely that location might be a furure Alien DLC Story mode supposedly was going to have 3 DLCs: Michael - zombies Franklin - aliens Trevor - IAA Agent The doomsday heist was trevors story brought to online. So most likely this is a teaser for an alien dlc. Especially to finally solve the mount chilliad easter egg which was supposed to be done in story mode.

they will always create a full building interior for something they plan to reuse or expand, and they always create a good scenery even if it will not be used much at all to make sure players dont feel movement bound, just look at red dead 2, its insane how much you can miss if u don't stay and explore the whole areas

There's not even a single bit of evidence that Alien DLC was ever in production (Talking about game files etc, aside from the leaked production notes that only mention it's existence and it even says there "Pick one" between Zombies and Alien) Additionally there's no evidence that this interior was ever part of any of planned SP DLC, rather evidence against it based on the texture names which all mention Mercenaries DLC (excluding what's reused from the IAA facility which has actual proof of being SP DLC Content)

There is a strong possibility the things in that room are a sample of what’s to come in the December DLC. Perhaps we’re getting a Doomsday part 2? It would be a great way to end of GTA online, unless rockstar plans to support it for another year or so.

It sucks that the bunker is not accessible, how cool would it be if we got a call from Agent 17, Omega or ULP saying that we've picked up something on the satellites in outer space and it just touched down somewhere in Los Santos, our guys are too busy with China right now to grab it, so we need you to do it. Then it starts an alien shrapnel hunt where you collect 10 pieces of scrap all throughout the city and Blane County, all while fighting Merryweather after picking up the scraps. Once you get all 10 scraps then you unlock the moon car and the bunker. It gives you a prompt that you can't erase that says go to fort Zancodo for your prize or something. As soon as you go up to the base, a cutseane plays out where your bagged by the solders and just as they walk in, Altruists, space believers and hippies roll up and try to gain entry into the building carrying weapons and stuff (instead of Naruto running) They take the bag off instead and give you a choice to fight them or the invading horde, (naturally your guy chooses the solders because R* storytelling) after you kill most of the invaders in 4 waves. (with each getting harder) Agent 17 shows up and tells the solders that you've earned a peak into the bunker. Another cutseane plays out and you're free to explore how you see fit (while you're not granted exclusive access to the bunker yet) after you've seen it all it's when they catch you busting out your camera that they flash you with something (a reference to MIB) and you wake up in sandy shores with an unlockable tee shirt and hat that says "Alienland" or something like that covers up the fact that you saw inside the bunker. This could set up a future MIB style DLC.

Looking at it from another point, we can say that the location is very detailed for only being a 5-second cinematic, so seeing that Rockstar is putting more effort into GTA Online's Halloween, I think these facilities will be used later because at the moment we only have one cinematic and I no longer believe that Rockstar will add anything else apart from what is already online, as well as possessed animals, UFOs, doppelgangers, serial killers, ghost cars, ghosts, etc. are part of this event, I think we will have another year of GTA V until next Halloween.

I'm pretty confident that Rockstar is going to try and create a way to 'solve' the Chiliad Mystery with whatever this update is. That both excites me and upsets me. Sucks to think that for 10 years we've just been chasing our tails over things not even in the game, especially when you consider all the cut story dlcs that would've probably actually solved everything as they intended to begin with. But at least it looks like they're trying to conclude this thing and let us move on I suppose.

Man this is kinda great but I also feel that Rockstar waited a little too long with the whole alien storyline thing. This would've drawn masses a couple of years ago like 2016-2018 but the majority of players moved on from GTA 5 and GTA online.

single player DLCs were scrapped and repurposed as heist updates for online. doomsday was a really really really big part of that.

some people actually liked the doomsday heist dlc.. and having a part 2 would be pretty cool. they don't need to add more futuristic stuff like a deluxo mk2 or another orbital cannon but they can just add a cool heist where an alien invasion could happen and you need to stop those aliens from conquering the world. ik that's not like gta but it would be different, and we have got enough GTA like updates with the los santos tuners and cayo perico heist DLCs so a doomsday heist part 2 would be a good thing for us while we wait for gta 6. a michael focused dlc would be cool too but it wouldn't make sense now since michael would be in his late 50's, franklin is still pretty young so the contract dlc made sense. they would most likely add more heists but with michael being that old and retired, what would be the point?

@@ironboyjunior8509 Well me personally didn't like The Doomsday Heist, so, don't want to see another DLC like that. If you do, cool no problem. But me no. A Michael's DLC could be like: you purchase a part of the movie studio, that at this point is falling apart or something like that. Epsilon Program is back with Cris Formage, Marnie (Shupar lol), Jimmy Boston, etc. Bring Dr. Friedlander back too (remember that he escaped from us in the Drug Wars Part 2) and even Peter Dreyfuss. If Rockstar brought back Friedlander when we thought Michael killed him, why not Dreyfuss? The plot could be that all of them came back to kill Michael for the things he did to them in the past (except Dreyfuss), and we have to stop them. Maybe we could infiltrate The Epsilon Program and steal something very valuable from them. I don't know, i think something like that would be cool imo.

I have a theory. About that weird drawing on top of Mount Chilliad. There's lightning bolts which can be seen outside of the mountian - and UFOs appear when lightning strikes and it happens again if you fly too close to them in a plane or a helicopter like the Conada. There's also electromagnetic interference which also could relate to the lightning bolts. On the mural, there's an EGG sack, which also heals you in the Project 4808 survivals leading up and there's also jetpack there drawn. You escape on the Thruster to take down Hertz on another Thruster, and I think the other one is probably an smaller UFO.. or something.

The December DLC might have a raid at Fort Zancudo, where Charlie and the gang along with Omega to raid the base and expose the truth to everyone. Or better yet, a map expansion DLC for the PC verison of the E&E edition. Rockstar Games, this is your last chance for this year.
