I made a video showing how to insure a tank aswell! I think I posted it right after this video, so it is about 5-7 videos back. If you follow the instructions on that video I can promise you that it will work with ease!

To put it back in your garage, just go inside of your garage and drive any other vehicle out. This will teleport the fire truck inside of the garage.

For the part where you have to keep the door open, you can just have a friend open the door for you while you're inside the garage/apartment

No, the exception to this glitch is sports and super cars, which you cannot bring into your garage.

destroy the one's that says NOT INSURED you can check by pressing D pad in the garage if it IS insured you are going to have to fill your garage up with cars then it will say would you like to replace a vehicle? press yes and choose the police car
