GTA V Online Which is the Best Attack Chopper | Buzzard Akula Hunter Savage 

In short, savage is good with 1 man crew, hunter is best with 2 people (pilot and gunner), akula can enter stealth mode (still can be locked on/heard), and buzzard is good at being able to be summoned via CEO tab

akula: tactical hunter: destruction with friends savage : destruction solo buzzard: for quick quests/fights/freemode missions

I love the akula because it has infinite missiles or barrage , you can drop bombs and , the most important thing : stealth mode

Savage and Hunter have the most firepower, while the Hunter requires more skill than the Savage. Akula is good for surprise attacks (with rocket barrage) and Buzzard is good for getting around the map.

Savage is best simply because of how OP explosive cannons are.

I'll say savage because it can be useful For a helicopter dogfight.

So, from what I gathered here: The Buzzards best benefit is its maneuverability. That, and you can spawn it anywhere. Two passengers in the back with weapons can help its lethality but not by much. The Savage is exactly that. It seams to be incredibly devastating to ground targets. A copilot with a Ex. MG makes this thing extra heavy in terms of firepower. The Hunter seems to have insane firepower. Having a copilot able to shoot MGs and Missiles on top on your own is a paradise for duos of destruction. And the Akula appears to be a little of everything. Fast, maneuverable, firepower, and that stealth ability gives you that element of surprise. Probably the most helpful with counter griefing or doing online missions.

The savage is great thanks to the explosive canon but it is weak as hell to anything that isn't explosives, it can't take many bullets before it starts smoking and you might as well just fly into a wall if you manage to hit the rotor with a pole. But aside from that it's great for VIP/CEO work and if anyone in an oppressor decides to attempt to ruin your day

No contest, hunter is and always will be my favorite. And it's based off the AH64 Apache which is also a favorite.

Happy to say I won a 4vMe with a DukeO' Death. Running with briefcase in server event, chased by an Akula, Kuruma, Oppressor mk 1, and some dude in a stolen civilian car. Stopped in the middle of an alley way, using car as cover, naded the civilian car guy, kuruma guy pulls up, melted em with a special carbine, Oppressor came flying in and crashed, took out a shotgun and just walked up to em and executed em. Had a hearty chuckle after that one. Event ends and I run out expecting them to respawn and come back for more, but an Akula pulls up right in my face, flicked on the driver and went on about my day like nothing happened. Then the dude with the Akula threatened to get his MK 2 Oppressor, so I dipped lmao

Savage is like minigun with explosive ammo. I love it

The hunter with a good 2 man crew is one of the most dangerous vehicles in gta5 online. It has homing for deterring targets in vehicles, barrage for distracting aircraft and wrecking ground targets, the ability to use chaff and fire homing uninterrupted. And bombs. But the explosive mg is what you buy it for. In my opinion, the whole purpose of the pilot is to stay as stable as possible, (while still being able to defend against hostiles) and to focus solely on letting the Gunner do their job and wreck some shit. Jets are taken out easily and you can defend against mk2 users with chaff and homing. And the explosive mg with a good Gunner doesn't even let people easy way out most of the time, it is great for ground targets.

With friend: Hunter hands down, because that controllable explosive autocannon is a thing to behold Solo: either Akula or Savage, but the latter has better odds. Akula can gain the upper hand through confusion and deception by popping in and out of stealth, which can easily disorientate a Savage pilot with poor situational awareness, but its poor rockets kill its potential of actually dealing a killing blow. Savage on the other hand has the autocannon of death, but its range is severly limited and the heli itself also lacks in tankiness. Nevertheless, once an Akula has been pinpointed and successfully approached, it has very little choices to escape.

Imagine as Savage that was as nimble as the Akula, you'd be unstoppable.

Main armament of the choppers: Akula with 4missile barrage, Savage explosive Minigun, Buzzert homing or non homing rockets, Hunter with the co-pilot as a gunner on the explosive gun and with 7missile barrage. Hunter is also the only chopper in this video with countermeasures like flares or ecm bursts

Buzzard for ceo crates and jobs Akula for sale missions and avoiding players Hunter for 2 people crew Savage for solo griefing and fighting other players I personally choose savage for pvp and VIP work and buzzard for ceo missions

I say the savage because 1 its underrated 2 its explosive mg is pretty lowerful in combat situations and 3 its missles have 0 time cooldown

Savage is definitely the best against griefers, and Hunter for missions, buzzard for quick CEO transportation (insta spawn) and Akula, what you didn't mention) can go off the radar with a press of a button BUT in the meantime can't use rockets, so it's good for missions in public lobbies

Gotta be Akula or Hunter. It really depends on what you're doing. If you don't care about power and wanna get somewhete with minimal issues, go for the Akula due to it being fast in altitude, and speed. Along with that you have stealth mode. Given it's weaponized if you need to you can defend yourself or start an attack. If you don't care as much about lack of confrontation go for the Hubter if you have a friend to do it with. It is faster than the Akula and has better weapons but you are more likely to be attacked and don't have the stealth advantage (assuning your target is blind or doesnt pay attention) that the Akula has. Convenience wise use a Buzzard. If you own one and a CEO you have it at all times, if you're willing to look for it they can spawn at most locations helicopters spawn in. Just hope you don't get bothed by anything that isn't a ground target as you lack the firepower most of everythibg else has and your blind spot weapon wise is also your weak spot. Starting attacks against anything other than a ground target without rockets or explosive bullets, unarmed targets of any kind, us bot much of an option unless you're good.

Savage has explosive cannons making it hands down the best for offense. And it also has a super awkward hit box allowing for missiles to easily miss you making it super good defensively too. Best heli hands down

I love my Akula. I find it's a nice blend of features. It's got stealth mode, which is handy. It can seat 4 people for ferrying your crew around. It doesn't pack the biggest punch, but it can still lay down the pain. And it can take a beating. If you have to pick just one, my vote goes to it.

I hate griefers, so i bought myself an akula to dodge all mk2 with stealth mode, and it works realy well. Id consider keeping your money in your bank for an akula.

I have yet to see a single comment on how to use the Akula well so here it is 1. Stealth mode 2. Stalk your prey 3. Come out of stealth going full speed while getting missile lock (don’t need to have a full lock just as soon as it’s a registered target) 4. Confirm death and return to stealth mode 5. Repeat previous steps till rage quit

Small plus about the buzzard. You can have 3 owned buzzards on the map at one time. So you can supply 3 different people with attack helicopters.

Hunter is best for saving time in long distance hangar ground source missions. Akula is good for wanted level situations. Buzzard is easier to land in tight spaces. Savage is great for destroying ground targets and armored vehicles. My pick is both akula and savage.

savage wins hands down. its missile hitbox is below so its easy to dodge and it has explosive mg. best for lobbies FILLED with mk2.

Of course the hunter doesn't outperm anything in this test because the barrage and gunner cannon are it's main weapons not the homing rocket! If you're playing duo you're relying on the gunner. The pilots job is to keep the helicopter far enough from the target and avoid missiles with ECM. The gunners job is it to keep all Mk2s away and blow them out of the sky and also kill ground targets

Sparrow is the best now because it can be spawned next to you, is pretty fast, is a decent dogfighter, is good for grinding, is pretty cheap, looks sick, and has unlimited rapid fire missiles, but out of these 4, it's the akula

Savage is great against ground targets or targets in vehicles. Also it’s really good at accuracy with the cannon

When will people finally understand, that there is no BEST helicopter. It depends on the situation u have. For example if u want to fight an Opressor or a big crowd of people on your own u should use a Savage, but if u play with a friend on your side u should use a Hunter for that. If u want to sneak up on someone then u should use a Akula and if u have some people who are completely stupid in the way what they are doing then u can even use a Buzzard or if u are bored a Sea Sparrow.

In my personal opinion: Akula: best for player v player Hunter: best for bragging rights Savage: best for player v npc Buzzard: best for transportation

Hunter for its weaponry choices but savage because it's cannon is so OP!

If there was ever a time to get a Buzzard, it is now: Basically this week it costs half it's price (867k), and despite not being as powerful as the Hunter or Savage, it can be spawned anywhere without extra cost if you're the CEO of a company in GTA. If you don't buy it it's 25k$ each spawn, so it is an investment basically and can get you around the map pretty quickly.
