I remember the GTA-Underground mod, which gathered all the maps from the GTA's 3D era, they were even implementing an online mode. It was beautiful. Rockstar threatened to sue and they had to take down years of work done on games that Rockstar had forgotten about.

Hey Guys! I've got an early copy of it. I tell ya something there are weird flying bikes killing me and people destroying my vehicles full of cargo and the vehicles are way too expensive and overpriced. Also I heard they will remaster this for about hundreds of years to come, 0/10 def not worth buying.

This is kind of how I thought gta was as a kid. I grew up watching modded fnaf gta 5, specifically the RedHatter’s videos, and I thought that in gta you could be any character from any movie or show. That was until I got gta v almost a year ago, and I realized it was just a crime game. However, I still enjoyed every second of it, and cried at the ending, but that’s another story
