exactly this... i still hope there will be atleast something from motion capturing, i want to see them acting... they have to show us the scenes with actors in the suits :D
crichton55 Depression is a disorder we all suffer at some level, it never disappear totally, to me suicide is never an option no matter how bad things look like, be strong bro.
this didn't age very well. From the start he seemed a bit off-putting about this whole deal. Calling it a "cartoon" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rtk7jDyDuxY.htmlsi=WBM7XclOdaSpc_-H
The voice acting in GTA V was some of the BEST voice acting that I have ever heard in a game. It was just so professional. At some points...I even thought the fucking acting was better than the gameplay...I was so amazed by it. It made me so happy.
+Adolf Hitler Dude seriously? Voice acting? That's an insult considering they worked 3 years for this epic video game. They didn't only provide voice acting. It was complete acting because they also did all the motion capturing.
Alex Black well had I known that I would have included that as well. But its all just so realistic...its like people actually having conversations with eachother instead of just saying random ass lines.
Alex Black Oh shit that would be cool...Like how they turn movies into to TV shows...Imagine how many people would watch this shit if it was a GTA V show..
40:13 THE MOST EPIC SHIT EVER!!! LMAO Steven's reaction to the request was priceless!!! And then the way he walked over just made it that much funnier. I love this cast!
If I had the money to back a movie... I'd totally try to get these three guys to do a movie. With the roll of Micheal Trevor and Franklin. Be a fucking awesome movie

Lol it IS him. They didn’t have the characters first, then hired actors to voice them. They based all the characters 100% on the actors they chose. That’s why they all look exactly like their characters.
I find him kinda scary. Not because he's not good-looking, he is good looking but I keep seeing Trevor and he's gonna jump out of my computer screen and kill me.
Trevor was my favorite character and Steven Ogg truly brought him to life..I mean obviously the character looks likes the actor and sounds like him, because he acted everything out..but I mean he brought him to life in the sense that I can't picture anyone else playing him. I felt his character had a lot more depth than Franklin or Michael, and the player was able to see that there was way more than meets the eye with him. Through playing the game, you hear more of his background and it made me feel bad for him. On another note, he animators did an amazing job as well. I'd always notice little details put in that make it realistic. For example; the traffic lights, the interiors of cars, the walk signal, the streets with the street signs and painted lanes, and so much more..just so much detail. I also loved the extra missions (idk if they're considered missions) but like the space ship parts, and the graffiti and things like that. I don't really consider myself a gamer, but I genuinely enjoyed GTA 5 and could (and have) play it over from start to finish many times.
I totally agree. I related to Trevor more than any character even though my name is Michael and Michael was very charming and charismatic. Trevor was so honest and passionate and sarcastic and goofy and you could see that he was hurt by Michael's betrayal from the original robbery when he faked his own death. It's amazing to see these actors who brought the games to life.
Skie Proxy lol, this is a bad ID, start with gtaV and go back to gta 3 you have to start with GTA3 then Vice then liberty city then SA then 4 and finally 5. You don't fuck a girl then put a condom and invite her to the cinema...
My first GTA game was GTA IV, and it was incredibly boring and I just said "I'm done with this", so I traded with my friend and got Batman: Arkham City. I'm considering getting this one since it seems more interesting to me.
I'm so happy for Steve, Ned and Shawn. They made iconic characters. I loved the game and still do. I still play it to this day. The drama, humor and action in this game is perfect. The actors and Rockstar did some fantastic work here
And franklin was actually in gta San Andreas but I forget if he was like a voice actor or something but I remember hearing that he was in gta San Andreas
STARKILLER15100 Ikr? I'm still confused as to how that works but it does and you spawn right outside a hospital after paying ur medical bills as always. But as Franklin, you never (Spoiler alert!!) OFFICIALLY die in the main storyline. That's all I'm trying to say.
I hope these guys return as at least heist crew members in Gta 6, they’re all awesome and their chemistry together is unrivalled by any other video game actors I can think of
These guys remind me why I love acting. It's not a scholars job, it's not a scientists job, we're not gonna change the world, but it's real. It's passion, it's fun. I love it more than anything.
Whosoever say Ned doesn't look like Michael, may have optical problems... he's identical, just Michael is a younger and fansier version of himself. PS: sorry for my bad english, i'll appreciate if someone could let me know my mistakes.
You should have written "whoever said" instead. And it's spelt "fancier". Apart from that, it was pretty good. I agree, Ned definitely looks like Michael. I think he looks more like his character than Solo does.
I wan't to punch everyone in the face who called them voice actors... This game is the most sickest game in the world. But I was more impressed with the acting of this guys I've enjoyed every single sequence on the game. Thank you to these amazing 3 Men and everybody on Rockstar for making the best game of all time!
+Jido Tamikato I agree, it bothered me most when the kid referred to it as voice acting when they had already discussed that it was way more than that. I'll be honest, I had no idea they did the motion capture acting until I was practically finished the game but it made me appreciate it even more whenever I replayed the game. Truly a great game.
Watching this in 2021 and reminiscing on the easy days back in 2012-2013. Was just graduating High School, lining up at BestBuy at 12 midnight to get the games with my homies. One of whom we've lost to mental illness/suicide. Mannnnnnn, How we take time for granted sometimes. I miss the innocence of being young and no major responsibilities, and most importantly I miss you Dylan, Rest in Peace bro
Im on what must be my 7th or 8th play through of this game. I love all of the GTA games but this was something else entirely, the acting was absolutely first rate and the you can tell theres a real chemistry between them all, it shows, shit like that cant be faked. Every time i complete the last mission im sad because i miss the interaction of the characters, no other GTA game has had me quite like this one, i desperately wish R* would give up some more single player missions for the story so i could enjoy the characters interacting with each other some more.
Trevor is my favorite character in the game, cause he is so abrasive. Every time I play the game through, I have done it 8 times so far, I laugh my ass off when Trevor is taking Mrs. Madrazzo back home, he is crying. "I have never been so happy and sad at the same time." That being said... If Rockstar is working on expansion packs/DLC's, I would like to see a story with Franklin and Lamar doing their own missions and trying to get Tanisha away from her Dr. friend. I would also like to see an expansion based off Packie.
You certainly did a good job, it’s unrivalled in game history and I play it absolutely heaps and have since it came out all those years ago, outstanding.
I really hope this is genuinely a channel Steven actually sees, I'll be honest this was the first of your work I had seen but since then I have loved any role you've popped up in! You are a fantastic actor and to be honest the fact you aren't a gamer makes it far cooler as it's more of a pure acting job rather than being fans of R*
Watching this gives me a different outlook of the story, character developement, etc, of a game. It makes me wanna play the story again, but cherish every moment of it.
with great respect for all actors that we see in the game and especially these 3 guys , i think steven rly provided the most impressive performance in terms of acting in the game
The feeling is the fact of the motion capture software that allows every single feature of their faces to be like the game. In addition to the fact that the voices are the real person's voice through which it is taken with a small microphone or Bluetooth headset. So basically it's actually like Ned, Shawn and Steven all playing their characters in real life as Franklin, Michael and Trevor.
Man these guys look and sound like the coolest people to hang out with. Sure hope to see them in a lot of future games. It amazes me how motion capture is now turning voice actors into actual actors. Providing the facial expressions and body gestures and what not. Really incredible. Queen Chrysalis cosplayer near the end~
I agree...but in all fairness, all 3 were in tv shows and movies BEFORE this. I've seen Solo in "The Wash" and at least another flick, and the other two on like Law & Order and Point of Interest. I think you probably meant (I could be wrong) that they could have ended up lending their voices to characters that didn't look like them, but overall you made a great point. Thumbs up like a hitchhiker lol
Just finish this like days ago after sitting there on my free epic games account and man. I would pay a full 60$ for this game. Hoping for a DLC though online is so boring and people just blow other people up.
