Dimitri is a much much better antagonist than Devin Weston could ever be, Devin is more of a scamer making the protagonists work for him and then give them nothing.
Well cuz of that Davin is a better Villain and don’t assume that Dimitri faced his fears, Because if he did then he wouldn’t run away like a cat driving a helicopter
Devin is actually just a lazy repackage of Dimitri. Describe them both without saying Billionaire investor & scam artist and Russian Mob boss and you find they are the same. Same as Steve Haines and Jimmy Pegorino.

I always think that Michael is John marstons descendant. The main reason I think that is because of the ability that Michael has. It's similar to dead eye, but you can't lock shots on people or animals. It's a small downgrade to John's ability. Plus, John and Michael care a lot for their families and are willing to do anything to save them.
Kate is very well written you just have to take the time to date her, certainly better than Amanda. Johnny is definitely better than Trevor and i think Francis is better written than Dave Norton is, even if he’s less likeable.
That's because R* fucked up with GTA V's version of Johnny. If the GTA IV iteration of Johnny was in GTA V he would fuck up this man Trevor beyond repair.
Im playing through GTA IV rn and honestly i love it, i found GTA V story dry and most the time boring except heists but GTA IV ive enjoyed all of it (except that damn brucie race mission)
I'll take Johnny over Trevor any day. Human stew... that's where I draw the line. And Faustin, he always reminded me of a Russian Tony Montana for some reason. Can't explain it. He's despicable, but there's no substance or backstory for Madrazo as there was for Faustin.

Anybody ever notice the GTA IV characters have exactly the same personality as the GTA V characters? Niko is just like Michael - Would do anything for family. Johnny is just like Trevor - A danger if ever approached. Luis is just like Franklin - Theyre both the underdogs of both the games.
Luis is better in fight but Franklin story and like protagonist he is better than Luis,so yeah Frank is bit better. Roman also better cuz he is interesting character and more important character in GTA IV story, and always supported Niko in GTA IV than Lester.
GTA 5 is better because the characters reveal themselves very deeply in it. Trevor and Michael were especially well shown. Fraklin, for the most part, looks like Niko. Both want to live a beautiful life. Both want to end poverty, and they don't care how to do it. If they offer good money for dirty work, they agree. But the story of Trevor and Michael is spelled out well. Their history of "friendship" is remembered for a very long time. In addition, these two reveal their soul somehow. They talk about their feelings, thereby showing that they are also people, and not just terminators for murder.

I feel like GTA 5 is the robbing and looting joyride type game, it’s just a lot of action, betrayal, and good storytelling while GTA 4 is the sinister side of that, the dark road of crime that doesn’t have a happy ending.
