Same but when I go back to play the game on my ps2 is like “was the graphic that awful, cause I could have swear that to me it was amazing graphic back then”

Vice City is the greatest GTA game ever made. Ray Liotta as Tommy Vercetti was great, and the soundtrack is amazing. The radio stations had the best comedy of the entire franchise. Lazlow and V-Rock ❤️😂
For me, Vice City was the most captivating and memorable GTA. Maybe because it came at the right time, I was about 12 years old. I just bought GTA V. Installed it, tried it out, but it didn't manage to suck me in. Probably because it came at the wrong time. Games rarely captivate me anymore :/ I wish I was a kid again and able to be so immersed in games! I feel like a new GTA in Vice City could have the potential.
I feel you on that. I don't understand why games don't captivate me as much as they used to. Maybe that was the freedom of being a kid. You didn't have a worry in the world, good times!
@@user-om8ip9gv3k Same here. It sucks for us because the newer games have a whole infinite list of things to do (on top of HD graphics), but it just doesn't get me hooked like Vice City or San Andreas.
I am 30 and I feel the same way. Vice City will always be the greatest for us I guess. Even games like RDR2 fails to captivate us the way VC did. Like you said - the right time. Makes me sad and happy at the same time.
Im not 100% sure but this might not be a real remaster it looks like the Vice City map in GTA 5 as half the cars are GTA 5 cars give or take a few that where added to make it look like vice city did such as the old ferrari.
You are right, but in this case it has to be this way because the mod actually is just gta v with map textures from vice city. Using cars desings from vice city in gta v engine has to be so hard for modders.

@@squib2118 The Remaster is in a modern Unreal Engine 4, a modern game engine. It has the potential to look even better than this mod. Aaaand yet, it doesn't. Not by a long way.
@@squib2118 Yeah, they ported them over to UE4, badly upscaled textures and utterly ruined background jokes. It looks like they tried to automate as much of it as possible, which is fine, but didn't QC the output. Which is not. There's no real evidence of any effort being put into it. That's why all the hate.

@@theneo2008 The point is in the beginning of the previous decade, modders were porting San Andreas to the latest GTA. This decade, they are porting Vice City to the latest GTA
Not really. Rockstar wasn’t known for their graphics at the time, they were more about scale. Onimusha 1 and 2 were both out at the time and looked way better than Vice City. Still a great game though. I’ll take content over graphics any day.
Jeremy Staples And it looked amazing. Your point? Lol. REmake had pre rendered backgrounds too but they were still created in full 3D. They took pictures of them and made them pre rendered because they wouldn’t fit on the disc. Hell, even the first Devil May Cry looked way better than Vice City and it had full 3D backgrounds. Again, not hating on the game just pointing out that Rockstar wasn’t known for graphics at the time. Nothing wrong with that. San Andreas wouldn’t have been as awesome if they focused on graphics.

I actually freaking love that camera work. In every game you have camera following you like robot. This is more smooth. Maybe a little exaggerated but I hope the next gen games use something similar.
Lich King I don‘t know about the american version but the European Pal Version sucks ass on PS4. It plays even worse than on the PS2. Framerates dropping constantly, stutters every 3-5 seconds.
Yeah, but how can take2 and rockstar profit from remaking them? I mean they could have and then added the islands into GTA 5 as DLC and charged $10 each and not gonna lie.....I would have eaten that shit right up the moment it would have happened
GTA THE TRILOGY on STEAM runs fine but SA still has a few downgrades from the ps2 version, no cloud saves but atleast it can be modded to look better, lets just be thankful its not like the xbox 360 gta SA remaster
@@gangweedernigga4012 they should just remaster the PS2 TBH. Add some extra base to the start up to give you that feeling of "I woke so many people up with this thing back in the day."
Now someone else needs to find a way to import all of the cutscenes into this. Someone else needs to figure out a way to make the missions to work and bam... We got a fan made remake.

@@DevyKins I see where your getting at but I believe the saturation is not a fault here. There is plenty of saturation already it's the hue of the colors that needs to be played with. There too much green this game needs more red
