Wow, all main missions can be done within 5 hours? I remember playing this ages ago for months, finding the storyline quests by accident 🤣 I just sort of drove around and flipped through all the radio stations, occasionally bullying the NPCs or intentionally getting 6 stars to blow off some steam from schoolwork. Good times. Solid piece of my childhood.

This game was and is my reason for falling in love with Miami in the 80s & exactly 20 years later that love for 80s Miami still goin strong. Playing as a kid thinking this was it, Vice City is the best game in the world. Took weeks to beat it.. Till San Andreas dropped. (Which was even better) And again I say, 20 years later.. GTA 6 trailer just dropped.. And it’s back in Vice City. Will it be amazing? Probably. But, nothing can compare to that feeling of loading up the original Vice City & San Andreas. RIP Ray Liotta (voice of Tommy Vercetti)

The funny thing is…I remember this game (the original) looked as good back then in 2002, as it does now as a definitive in 2021, I was 16 and just done 2 years in juvie the first time I played this classic!! I was instantly hooked as it had references to two of my favourite gangsta movies of all time: Scarface and Carlito’s Way.

Vice City is funny because they implemented tiny details like Tommy's shirt flapping when he's on a bike, but when it came to the voice acting they're like "yeah just phone it in"

The game is short on here, because when you play it yourself at home. You have to factor in all the needless driving around just listening to music and having fun. First time I played the original Vice City it took me well over a year, because many times I got on there just to cruise around listening to music and relaxing after a long day. This brings back so many great memories. Especially actually growing up in the 1980's. I was 16 in 1980 when I got my driver's license, and 25 years old in 1989, when the decade ended. Great decade.

For anyone who hasn't played it. Its vice city like you've never ever seen it before. It looks really amazing go and get it. This is the comment I was searching for before I got the game but since I have it already I'm here to tell you to see for yourself. The cars, the grass, the street lights at night time on ocean drive the corvettes the Lamborghinis...vice city looks amazing. All of the games look good. @@jimmyhassett3179 Obviously I saw that, but the calls didn't really reflect what was happening in the game (at least to me). I still wasn't fully surprised but was rather disappointed. The betrayal wasn't all that surprising. The betrayal needed a bit more fleshing out time in my opinion. It's an element of Vice City that is very poorly written. It kinda makes Lance seem weak (may not be the right word) especially when he sides with fricken Forelli.

I played the Remastered GTA SA but it wasnt the same. I never really got that sense of nostalgia. GTA VC however, takes me waaaay back! My one issue with this playthrough however, no music :( I know, copywrite issues but it would have been awesome! GTA always hits with the music and VC had the best soundtrack!

This game is an absolute masterpiece. The theme, the atmosphere, the soundtrack, the story, the characters, the dialogue. Rockstar was on top of their game with Vice City and San Andreas. Vice City is the best game of all time to me. Literally every character is memorable and the entire vibe of the game and the story is just top tier

Very weird seeing it remastered but so nostalgic. Hearing the San Andreas sound effects are a bit jarring but not too bad. I remember being in my teens when I learned what an all star cast this game had at the time. Ray Liotta, Gary Busey, William Fichtner, even Danny Trejo, it's crazy...

Vice City lost around 10 songs or so. That sucks but the majority of the soundtrack is still there, the RU-vidr muted it, this is because RU-vid will sometimes mute copyrighted music so the video would have several complete mutes if it was kept in.

This is a good game The nostalgia from playing it back in 2002 till now. You can buy stuff and then you can advance through the missions or take your time and just beat people up drive on motorcycles and try to wreck the motorcycle or get a big wheelie or flip it and go far. The auto assistant all you would do is push a button and it would shoot the person for you in the game you really didn't have to do much no aim or anything. But it was a good game back in the day my uncle owned that he played it so much he broke his PlayStation 2 never to Play it again.
