Great video man…I’m thinking of buying the steam version I have the rockstar version but there’s not a lot you can do with that apart from wait. Will I be able to transfer my game directory (mods) in the steam folder ?

Same here, thinking to switch to Steam version. Since the newest Rockstar Launcher update I can't revert my files upon launch anymore. I was able to skip the forced update on Rockstar Launcher for years, until the Launcher update of a few weeks ago

No, they have to wait for everything to update. I recommend getting the game on Steam or Epics.

Did not work at all, followed all steps and double checked, game version still says 3179. Manualtransmission mod still says patch error (mod got patched with 3179).

It did not work for me (Epicgames user). I replaced the files as the video told me to but when i try to launch the game, it does not start because in the epicgames launcher, the verstion is still the one from the update. Can somebody please help me?

This worked for me which is great but when I hit “go on duty” I get a “LSPDFR.dll crashed” message. I just want to play it’s so frustrating :/ Also getting “unhandled exemption in console command” when trying”force duty ??

lol yeah that don’t surprise me. They don’t really like anyone tbh about it. It’s no telling what they said about me now. It wouldn’t be the first time they talked bad about me, and guessing from the amount of their toxicity, it probably won’t be the last. Oh well. Life goes on right? They talk bad about everyone anyways. The only thing we can do for people who act that way is pray for them.

They are who they are there’s nothing we can do to change that. I honestly don’t know why anyone would wanna be apart of that server. Those folks have got some toxic blood in their veins. We just gotta pray for people like that. That’s all there is to it.

Rockstar users have to wait for everything to update. There's no way for Rockstar users to Revert.

Because they’re evil bro. They hate everyone tbh about it. It’s like Satan himself up in that place. lol Trust me when I say, they aren’t there to help anyone. If you ask for help no matter how nicely you ask, they’ll put you on blast for it and make you look like the bad guy. If I were you, or anyone else for that matter, I would steer clear of that server. Just some food for thought.

if you wanna play GTA online you can take the dinput8.dll file.. take it and drag and drop it onto your desk top. then if you want lspdfr to work again.. you just put the dinput8.dll file back.

Better not. If you have though, make a new folder, put the updated game in the new folder. DO NOT put the folder in the main directory. Once you've done this, revert your game. This works for me
