Hey bud, injectors will probably be to small think evo 6 injectors are only 510cc. Try for some 800cc or 1000cc injectors. Gt2871r is old tech even from garrett. A G series turbo would spool a lot quicker. I'd recommend looking at one of them. Borges EFR range is amazing but costs a lot if you can afford it take a look at there turbo sizes as well. 350hp should be no issue for a gtir. You can almost get that out of a stock gtir turbo. clutch selection is key to gearbox survival and driving it nicely. Don't put a solid center clutch or twin plate in it. Find a nice sprung center clutch and don't go crazy on clamping pressure from pressure plate either.

Injectors are 560cc I believe. I thought they’re up to holding 370ish bhp. 1000cc is overkill IMO. What g series turbo world you recommend? Have you or anyone you know ever ran a borg or holset on an sr?

@eddieconvey9223 444cc Max out at around 200kw atw so about 280hp ish you might get away with 350hp out of 560cc but the duty cycle on them will be maxed out at 100 percent which isn't ideal. I'd go bigger. Turbo is your choice for power, future power and what your using the car for. Sorry I'm not good with G series codes to recommend. Borge I use on our rx7 good turbos very expensive though. Never run holset sorry. r

@@RCrazyNZ nah I was asking as mine will be doing around 600hp and I dont want to do a dog box, I am thinking the evo 7 box conversion might be the best route only $12k

@@ballisticjelly566 my understanding is you can use evo 4 to 7 with none ayc transfer case and diffs. Pretty expensive to source RS stuff these days! I don't think there is a robust solution for the gtir atm out there. The evo box and transfer case have there issues as well. I know liberty gears in the usa do a custom gearset and billet bellhousings for the gtir. It's what the 8s gtir in Jamaica runs.
