These races are packed full of action every single run! It truly is anyone's race till the end. Another awesome video from GTR!! Congrats to the drivers moving on.
You all don't know I much I missed this racing................they had some SERIOUS paint-swappin' going on......Kowboy had some problems with his hood, I believe that hampered his speed during his driving, but in the end it was Lucas & Jonabi who both put on a spectacular show with some AWESOME racing. HUGE shout out to Gravity Throttle Racing for putting on a wonderful display of racing each and every time.
Congrats to Jonabi and Lucas! Great looking builds from all 4! Yes the qualification means not to much 😅 It‘s each time again amazing how much work and skills you have put in this track to make it run these good. And still we can watch always surprising situations and great action that nobody has expected! 🥳 Can‘t wait to see the rest! 🔥
@@Chris_Hood yes It was But I'd like to fix them up a bit get some of those scratches off. I'm also looking forward to Rick's tournament I just wish I would've sent more than one car everybody else sent 2
@@BoloBrown let me ask since you participate often in races. Rick and I were wondering if two month's notice is good enough for builders. What would you say is about the minimum advance you like to see from a host?
I stumbled upon a old vid you guys did…and I’m starting season two now..this is hands down the best channel I’ve ever seen. I used to do this with my hot wheels..the inner kid in me loves this. I wish I could have met y’all. I subscribed almost immediately. Thanks for the fun and amazing vids. For real. Y’all are a gem.
it's an amazing track, but what amaze me more is the effort of filming those action with instant replays.. the position of cameras are excellent... i found this more injoyable to watch than an actual racing😄
Comedy should be like a key in a lock. Aaron, you were using more of a crowbar approach, buddy! Thrilling show as always, full watch with ads! Great job, Lucas, I was pulling for ya!!! Onward and upward!
Exciting racing action. The tides can turn faster than a wheel spins. Gratz to the drivers moving on, well done. Superb entertainment and production. "Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo!
Never thought this would grab my attention but I love it. As an artist I appreciate all the painting and detailed decor that you guys put into these videos. Keep it up👍🏽
Yeah. You guys did a great job with this track and you both keep polishing up the commentary. When I see the videos done by other channels I appreciate GTR even more. Most of them are pretty cheesy for a number of reasons. Good job!
I built this layout in sections (or tables) over several months. I would build a 3'x8' table, develop the track on it, and then test the cars until I was satisfied. Then I'd build the next table and continue the track. If you're interested I have 10 short build videos in my playlist that document what I did.
I am not whining here. I am a big fan of the your diecast videos. I have a request : can you fix the white balance for the chasing cam. Right after the start. Looks like you switch cams with these two. Then, it was the starting cam that wasn't white balanced... And now, it is the chasin' cam. .. It would be great for the continuity. But also, to fully appreciate the first zone in the snow with the blue sky .. Thanx for these awesome race🔥😎👍 championships !
Thanks Joel. The chase cam (drone) is a GoPro8 and the start cam is a GoPro4. I don't like how the 8 films in white and I've tried a few different things to correct it but was afraid I overdid the correction, so I didn't post it. I'll try in the next video and you tell me if I'm closer to the target. Sound good?
@@gravitythrottleracing I'm looking fwd to appreciate these new modulated colors... .. Thank you so much ! As a fan of engineering and also a great crafter myself I fully love your take on car modifications, stats and track creation
@joel caron Thanks! Just last night I was getting educated by a diecast builder whose career is in video post development. I'm not sure my software has the power to fix Group 2 video coming this week, but I am tweaking the white balance in all the GoPros.
@@gravitythrottleracing I'm not whining either! 😀 I take advantage of these messages to comment, with the best of intentions, that for me the general light of the circuit is a bit unreal. I put it another way: what time of day are the races running and how is the sky at that time (no clouds, cloudy...)? I fully understand that lighting that huge (and magnificent, I'll never tire of saying it) circuit is complicated. But with the intention of making it as realistic as possible (I remember all the paint tests with the mountains in the background, for example), I think the general lighting could be improved. Apart from the "time of day", I always see the videos a bit dark. Of course it is an absolutely personal opinion that I write without any "negative" intention! I hope I have made myself understood, in my "broken english"...
I had to pause to look at EP's Baja Bouncer. Wow, did he do some major surgery on the rear end of that truck, or what? Not the stock plastic tires & wheels on the back but 2 of the actual Real Riders that came on the truck? Amirite? Okay, just because of that (well that and I dig his channel) I'm rooting for Lucas.
Yes, he did replace them. The Bouncer comes with 2 aluminum tires that are part of the rear post. He substituted Real Riders to get within the weight limit.
I may not have described it in detail in this video. Basically, the best performing drift (BPD) will be awarded 2 extra points, but this can not result in a win, only a sudden death raceoff. It's meant to reward those builders who tuned their cars (or trucks) well for drifting. Let's say the leader has 23 points, and the winner of BPD has 22. They can not win with 24, so they are awarded 1 point to force a sudden death raceoff. If you're referring to +1 or +2 for crossing the train, its meant to reward a fast driver that executes a good drift. Passing ahead of the white boxcar gives them 2 extra points, passing behind the white boxcar gives 1 extra point. Miss the train altogether is 0 extra points. Hope this helps.
Oh gosh, Adriel (3DBotmaker) has had his channel close to 10 years. I discovered it 3 years ago and was totally inspired! As a kid I raced Hotwheels on the carpet and dreamed of doing stop-motion photography. I've wanted to build a train layout since I was a teenager. This is my dream come true!
