@@razvanmoldoveanu6301 Yeah, well at least the interior in the A90 Supra is nicer than a Corolla. The B58 is the modern equivalent of the 2JZ. It can make up to 500 HP with FBO mods. Hell, even the stock block can handle up to 700 HP like the 2JZ. The new Supra isn’t even bad at all. Most of the hate mostly comes from 12 year old JDM fanboys.
Whenever I’m doing highway rolls like in this vid, I’m always wondering if the people behind us actually think it’s cool or are judging us. I’m always respectful to other drivers, (I don’t weave thru traffic, hold up traffic, or tailgate) but I still feel judged most of the time.

@@cflgt500 a supra can get pretty quick as well. Not sure what number that supra was pushing but it's literally the easiest thing ever to squeeze power out of that b58 but it's quite hard for a $50,000 car wouldn't be able to beat a $100,000, especially one that has got a lot of modification and is known for taking them well
@@bruh-ib5hz the b58 is pretty impressive as you can tune a 2020 A90 (320hp) to push out 500+ from stock no mods and just a e50 tune. I would assume the 2021 can definitely push out more than that.

@@jamboSAFC depends on the honda. You gotta be inside of a screaming H22, F20/F22, B18 or K20 to understand. Hell even the old D series sounded pretty good inside. But if you put a fart can on, Honda engines gonna sound just as shit as anything else with a fartcan.
Crazy to think that in the 90s these two models of car were in a similar class for performance and now the modern 2020s supra can't keep up with a 2010s gtr.
@@speedyhutt Except it really isn't close even tuned. Also price isn't that different to the gtr price in 2010. Actually I think it might be a little more, ignoring the marginal inflation in that amount of time. The supra just isn't a very good deal for the money.
Because they're in completely different price ranges and performance brackets. If Toyota made the Supra to compete with the GTR it would cost way too much and they wouldn't make any money

The Supra nor GT-R have ever been super cars, the gt-r is priced like one but isn’t. The Supra has always been a front engine rear drive Sports car. And explain how it’s “been disgraced” when Toyota literally kept the Supra true to it it’s roots? A 3.0 liter turbocharged inline 6, tunable, can handle power like a mf, rear drive? You must be one of those guys who can’t get over that Toyota didn’t want to waste the money and outsourced parts from BMW. You sound stupid.

I can’t bring myself to fall in love with the r35 GTR. It’s a beautiful car and extremely capable but when I see it I think r35 not “GTR”. Every time I see GTR in a title I expect to see 32, 33 or 34
On 2024.04.10, I spotted one just like the white Supra in a Walmart parking lot. I wasn’t all that impressed except for the appearance of the black spoiler and the styling of the rear bumper cover and pipes.

This “Supra” is nothing more than a cheap shadow of the true SUPRA that so many people around the world have come to love. Period.

I agree that the mk4 is an extremely iconic car but lets be honest, the new supra is a great car and the b58 is one of the best, if not THE best modern motor out there today. I dont understand why you feel so personally attacked and feel the need to defend a CAR lmaoo.. at the end of the day, they are BOTH cars that you most likely dont own and never ever will own, so how about you just accept that they are both extremely great cars at the end of the day..
@@whyalwaysme1106 A GTR has close to 600 horsepower, while the Supra has around 280. The Corvette might have more horsepower, but weighs a lot more than both the cars. That's how I know.
