Nice overview! I’m the proud owner of a fully outfitted Makua (w. DAC and phono). I couldn’t be happier with the sq and I’m even more thrilled with the support and service that Bill and GTT has given me. Highest appreciation and recommendation.
Excellent video, as always Bill. I have the Mola Mola monoblocs, linestage, dac. The synergy is second to none IHMO. My previous system was Musical Fidelity AMS series (valve linestage, CD, AMS50) pure class A. Mola Mola holds it own. The next step will be the Lupe phono stage on my musical journey. I hope they do a streaming transport, headphone amp etc.
Thanks for the video. Mola Mola clearly hitting their stride producing great products. Hypex has so many modules in production now (UCD, Ncore, Nilai, Trajectra). Are the Nilai and Trajectra cousins?
Thank you! Trajectum is only available to Mola Mola products, will not be OEM or sold to 3rd parties or sold in any module form to be used outside of Mola Mola. You can say everything from UCD thru Trajectum is a cousin. But if you are asking if it is close to Nilai, the answer is no.
Yes Mola Mola announced these at the show and displayed a prototype. An advanced form of Trajectum is in the Ossetra monos. We will drop a video from the show and you can hear all about it.
No a streamer is not NEEDED and we covered this in earlier episodes on the channel. However a really good external streamer such as an Auralic or Grimm can improve the sound even further.
Hi Bill , i am John from Greece and i own Mola Mola Kula.. I want to ask you : What firm these adaptors XLR/RCA are please Bill....??? And where can i find these..? Thank you.
Sorry, don’t know what went wrong with my previous message. I just wanted to know if there are any reviews comparing the Lupe with the on-board Forno stage on the preamplifier… I am on the verge of ordering a preamplifier, but I’m rates…
LOL I guess your message did it again. What is "I'm rates"? In any case no we are not going to ask a reviewer to review a built in Lupe to an external Lupe. It is the same phono stage. You could go to a dealer though and do that demo for yourself. You will be listening more to the cables and power cord on the Lupe than the phono stage.
