I run a 1080 on my ultrawide. I've never gotten below 60 fps on anything I've played and I've never had graphics settings below high. even on witcher 3 I play that with a high/ultra mixture. I believe this thing is seeing some thermal throttling

Everything on max (and I don't mean the presets) or it doesn't count. For TW3 it is actually the hair stuff, that gets the 1080 if you use the high preset with 8x AA. As soon as Geralts Hair takes up a large portion of the screen, it drops to like 45-40 fps even on a normal 16:9 1080p resolution.

TheGerudan my 970 ran the witcher 3 on a 1080 monitor, and if I tested everything ultra with hair works on my old setup it would drop to 30-40. now with 1080 on 1080p 16:9 settings it won't go that low. try again.

They don’t make the case, it’s premade, but it’s a bit hard to get and quite expensive unless bought in bulk. Search for Loop LP3400.

It's powerfull, but not as powerfull of what is released so far by other brands. for roughyl the same amount of money,

I feel like I need to say something here. I worked for digital storm for a little over a year and everyone here needs to know that this is not the pc you will be getting. These of course are hand picked components and probably tested thoroughly, which is not what they do there for normal customers. You will not get a mushkin drive (Most parts are wholesale refurbished shit from adata) and when I was working there we were backed up on these damn things until july of this year because we only get like 20 a month. Please choose a company that cares about its employees and stay away from Digital Storm. Thanks

The panel is not even 4k, it's 1440p. The 1080 can play 1440p at >60 FPS, hence the panel isn't adequate.

theres a build project for you guys! I bet you can do an "all in one" for less than 3k or make it as good as you want monitor wise, with an mini itx moder board some PCI cable and some ghettoing of a power supply/brick, just use some acrilic and figure your way arroun cooling for the case ( probably water cooling is a good idea since it would save space in GPU and CPU areas)......I want to see Luke going to town with this!

All in ones are good if you want to jump right in without worrying about buying a monitor but a downside of this is that if the screen gets any type of damage it’s going to be a hassle to replace. Meanwhile, with a dedicated gaming pc you can switch the monitor all the time.

People who admire the looks of a graphics card would prefer to have the GTX 1080 on the exterior. Some jank franken-computers have the GPU exposed.

Looks to be about a $700-800 over the DIY option. However, unless you've got their monitor/chassis, you really can't build a computer like this. And since the only reason to buy this thing is because you're interested in the form factor that means you just have to decide if the extra space (plus things like warranty and support) is worth the price premium. It's apparently VESA mountable too so you theoretically could mount it to a wall and have it use zero desk space. That's probably the most interesting thing to me. I can see this being useful for a small VR gaming room. When you're done with VR, you can plug in some peripherals, roll in a chair, maybe an easy to move desk (or use one of those fancy gaming lap boards) and you're good. You don't have to worry about unhooking and un-cablemanaging your monitor every time you want to swap.

Man, that's fucking dope AF! A sleek looking AiO that's 100% upgradeable with 100% stock parts (xcept for the CPU watercooler which you can re-use anyway) and also actually high-end?! I'm not an AiO buyer but damnnnn props to the guys who made this! The USB port at the top for something like a webcam is a fucking amazing addition that makes complete sense but would not have been thought of by most, if not all other companies!

I have two 1080Tis and two 1080s in my rig. Used to have a SLI laptop. Then built a desktop. Neither choice is bad - I could bring my 980M SLI laptop anywhere whereas I'd need a forklift to haul this box... But for heavy-duty work that I do desktop is king.

If you have a wireless mouse/keyboard, plug the adapter in the top slot (if you've got no other use) as it'll generally sit flush.

I really just want an all-in-one gamer shell. I don't understand why AIO shells haven't become a much bigger thing already for custom builders, parts are as energy efficient and thermally efficient as they've ever been and pretty much any setup can be reasonably made to fit anywhere with a mini-ITX board and water-cooling. This one is the closest I've seen to getting it completely right with all of the outputs on the mobo & GPU being accessible and even a dedicated USB 3.0 on top for a webcam. If it just had a cutting edge 144hz Gsync HDR panel from Acer or ASUS and it came empty other than some sort of proprietary 80+ Platinum 500 Watt PSU, I would buy it immediately.

People saying that someone, with the amount of money capable buying such a PC ,probably would have enough space for a case, I think this could be a real advantage for people who render an awful lot of stuff. Now you can have your screen incl computer for daily use on your desk, and have the case crowded with GPU's. I think that is quite reasonable.
