for most people this is really the only graphics card you need. unless you tryna run 4k cyberpunk or bodycam you really don't need anything more than this
Remember when games used to look rubbish on low graphics? Apparently that's all in the past, because these new games look amazing even on the lowest settings, I gootta say, I'm quite surprised
While GTX 1650 is nowhere the powerhouse in today standard, it's still capable to run most aaa titles at 60fps when using lowest settings and lowest resolution (except something like Alan wake 2 and Starfield), and it's pretty much playable for almost all indle games and competitive title like Genshin impact, CS2, fortnite and apex etc. The problem is that it's pretty hard to find one for 70 USD or under.
Although my 1650 is single-boiler, the temperature in Fortnite stays around 51-56 degrees... In Deceit, about 70, thermal paste has not been changed for 2.5 years
Too be fair. it did brilliant. yeah it aint 4k gaming or 2k gaming but for an average kid or gamer that would just like to enjoy some games or some emulation ... it aint bad it all .

This is objectively bad card to buy in 2024. But I still love my old asus phoenix 1650. So many good games could be played on this tiny thing. I treat it like PS4 - if the game can't keep 60 fps just plug in controller, 30fps cap and you are good to go. I hate playing with fluctuating fps

I noticed my laptop has this gpu and it performs the exact same as the desktop version i dont really game on my laptop though i use it for school work and some video editing
If you're planning to buy a laptop atleast pick rtx card it's way better. I have a ryzen 5 GTX 1650 laptop I've been using it for 2 years no problem but the thing I noticed is when new games come GTX is not enough
listen a palgue tale is have some issue i am playing this game on rtx 4060 but suddenly goes down fps on 40 than suddenly 80fps why this happens this game is not well optimize?
Plague tale requiem if played on ultra requires more than 8 gb vram on 1080p resolution. So because of this the system starts using system memory as a result you can see dips in framerate.

@@NoorAlam-xz4vf they are almost similar in performance . Intel has more cores but is also more power hungry. the plus side of ryzen processor is that you limit the TDP of the processor and still get the same performance which also results in lower temperature.
only use the adapter that comes with the gpu¹. or only use other 3rd party cables if you REALLY KNOW what you are doing. Mixing cables might just melt your psu and gpu, or worst case, your entire pc goes kaput. Edit: ¹ that comes with the PSU.
With the last couple of years of the worst running games ever the 1650 is doing alright, a lot of games even with dlss and fsr are a complete mess with no graphical improvement if not regression.
Hate to burst your bubble but there are many countries where consoles isn't an alternative to PC due to cost of everything. Some poor dude probably saved for several months to get at least this gpu. Let him play some GTA 5 (and maybe Mass Effect trilogy and some DOOMs if he got a taste) in peace
