Thank goodness for the timestamps, otherwise I would have been lost :D Been looking at this card ever since the pricing of the vega went to shit in my country!
This is exactly what I was looking for. I have the same gpu and cpu and trying to decide what type of monitor to get. It looks like the 1080p gives you a lot more fps than the others so I'll go with that. Thank you!!!
Hello people, how are you, I am starting to make video of video card and microposer comparisons if you can go through my channel to see my content, they would support me a lot
I've had the card for a year or so, and it was a phenomenal card at 1080p. Then I upgraded to 1440p and the cracks started to show. I can still achieve a stable 50fps in most games that are graphically demanding, but I have to tweak settings, mixing medium/high/very high. Still a great value if you only play slow-paced singleplayer games.
Suggestion: The people who are going to buy the 1660 super are highly likely to be budget gamers so using high end expensive components with it is not actually relatable to what we will get. You earned a sub and like anyways. Cheers
Finalmente um canal que faz teste no GTA online, a diferença de peso entre o história e o online é bem alta, eu lembro que meu pc antigo facilmente fazia 40/50 fps np história, já o online facilmente ia pra 20 em certos momentos
Thanks for putting the time into making this video. Question is how would you compare the green team to the red team, drivers, compatibility, bang for buck performance, graphic appearance?
Well, i think both are fine for me. I do like NVidia having a bit more features like filters and the best moments auto recording for some games. But i dont like having to register for example.
I am thinking of switching from rx 580 to 2070 super. Is Nvidia worth the extra money or do you think Amd is a better choice? As you now have tested an Nvidia card this is the right time to ask.
Good card for 1080p ultra gaming now. Would prefer more v ram for the future. Maybe will buy used someday for another build. About 20% faster than a 590 isn't worth it now. Thanks and ciao!
I think 30-40 fps with AC Odyssey high settings at 2160p is actually pretty good, even Control looked playable at that resolution. Not saying I game at 4k or anything, I think 1080p is fine but for the price you pay, this is good performance compared to like a 1060 3gb, lol.
2040mhz is a great OC Portuga, man its very great to see you into this About the video: great as always, but i have my regards about this GPU having future proofing in 3-4 years
Hey Ancient gamer thanks for this ... I have a old Graphics card GT 1030 ... I was thinking for buy a Graphics card .. And Now I will take GTX 1660 super ... It's really super ... Love it ♥️😜
@@AncientGameplays woooooah that's amazing. Thanks and we need more works like yours, putting the graphics to the top of their capacities. Most benchmarks only shows until they look good. Thanks and suscribe.
This is the GPU that is on my PC I ordered from Cyberpowerpc. I'm glad it's more powerful than I thought (especially since buying GPUs at retail price is near impossible atm....thanks scalpers)
@@AncientGameplays I mean it's my PC of 3 years, I'm getting only a monitor =) And getting a new GPU is way more expensive here, so I thought get a 4K monitor first and then upgrade GPU sometime later?
Thanks for all that benchmarking, greatly appreciated since I'm looking at building something similar... but having seen you play Forza Horizon 4, for the love of God don't drive a car if you visit the U.K. :)
@@AncientGameplays I think it makes for good benchmarking. It doesn't take much graphics power to drive down a road, but if you hit some terrain, collide with a car, spin off the road and smash through some terrain (preferably with an explosion), then you are showing the realistic frame rate of the game. Especially if I'm playing it.
@@AncientGameplays Quick question, I just got my GPU, MSI GTX 1660 SUPER GAMING X. My CPU is an I7-6700K 4.00GHz. I run like Destiny 2 or GTA V at a really low frame.. like 20, or 12 fps. Do you have any ideas whats going on? Please Lmk! thank you :)
@@jdmSKITZ check if u have the new drivers. Also make sure you have plugged your hdmi or display port cable in to the graphics card. You might be running off of integrated graphics.
Kalhorious I just fixed the problem, its the one of the most stupidest mistake i’ve made in years. The cpu cooler wasnt clicked in all the way with the cpu, making games run all choppy leaving my cpu all hot and literally could’ve damaged my cpu.
@@AncientGameplays I am getting the same combo next month what do you think this combo is Future Proof?I just want 60+ fps in all game In 1080p resoulation...
Hey mhan. So im getting this card end of the week 🤞 do you have any clicking or weird fan noises?? Hear thats a issue with this card? 🤔 Rea3 dont hope so. But im excited to test it out with my ryzen 5 3600x 🤞💯
So overall this pny version is good in terms of thermals and performance so do u think i wont be seeing much of difference using a msi or any other a brand card ?
@@biswajeetswain3271 Depends if the cpu will be able to pull off all the games i guess in most games now the 3500 will give almost nearly same performance but little bit of dips might be there plus cpu usgae will be really high as its just a 6C/6T cpu. But it should do fine still 3600 will be better option considering the facts that games are now utilising more threads.. If budget is a problem then u can go with 3500 but u might have to see dips more than this 3600 if any are there.
I have a question tho, can you recommend any pc 'thing' at all because I'm planning on getting a pc, and I've never had one, so I need a new everything. If you can reccomend anything it will help loads!
@@GOATS10M i am with all the craziness of looking for the best product for the best price and i found my perfect monitor for my needs: ASUS TUF VG24VG. Check it out.
At what settings where you running the games? Thanks for the benchmarks also i would like to see how to OC my gpu is a 2070 super but ive no idea how to overclock it
Dunno what the conversion rate is euros to £, but couple months back I got 1660 6GB super, Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB ram , lol can't remember mobo as on phone but MSI, or Asus oh might be B 450, upgraded to 3 fans from 2 and a certified 600w PSU, ,1TB hard drive, a 500 GB SSD oh and a drive as have some physical media, anyway shopped the better online companies who specialise in " custom pre-builds and cost me £770. I'm not bothered yet about 4k for gaming rather have ultra at 1080 and smooth, so far nothing has given it a problem As for lol 8k don't get me started personally seen a demo and my eyes and I have pretty good vision couldn't tell the difference, can't see me ever going over 8k but Smooth 4K gaming is going to take a new pc in future but no rush 🤗 Btw REALLY nice bench mark vid and nice choice of games.
@@Jeelaski yeah right 900 and change , didn't think it was expensive and MESH UK have a habit of winning awards, total custom options and no hassle and most important not much of a difference in price between building your own well in Europe anyway, USA seems to have better price. People or some hate pre builds but if u know what you're doing & want, don't ever take the advertised price, haggle you can do ok , anyway Im happy 🤗 but yeah each to their own and all that mantra 🙄🙄😄
Yo bro, really nice video. How do you think PNY this card compares to EVGA 1660 super? Cause evga out of stock and this is the only option, never heard of PNY are they good?
Looks like it can handle 1440p pretty well.. would you recommend getting a 1440p monitor for the card? I'm on the fence about upgrading my 1080p monitor bc of future proofing.
You should have put first all the games in 1080p, then all in 1440p and then in 2160p In that order it would be much easier for us to find what we want, as i want to see the benchmarks just in 1080p
@@djr1003 2600 will 100% handle the 1660 super, but I got the 3600 for this pairing just so i can make it more future proof, in the future i can just swap out the GPU instead of replacing the whole system. The 3600 is a really powerful processor, it can handle the 2080 Ti no problem which is the most powerful consumer GPU right now, so in the future you won't need to replace the CPU.
My gpu is gtx 1060 3gb (a bit low i know :D) and i have ryzen 5 3600 playing on 1080p 60hz monitor and im looking for advice should i buy new gpu( rtx2060s) now or wait for 3000 series?.I was thinking to go for the cheapest 2060s here in Bulgaria around 505 usd for MSI GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB Ventus GP OC but first i have to change my old Psu 430wtt for another 750wtt which will costs me around 125 usd and so in total this upgrade will cost me 630usd. Whether it's worth it or keep my money .Im killing for an answer. Nice video and keep up the good work.
@@mitkokurekov8452 If your want nice fps for full HD and decend fps at 1440, its enough with 1660 super imo. If you want to experience 4K games, u have to start to buy 4K monitor and then look for RTX 2060 or higher. Most people wants to play on 1440 monitor with 120 - 140 hz on ultra settings with good fps for maximum joyment. I dont have RTX 2060 so i dont really know how its perform at 4K but i do have RTX 2070 with i7 9700K and plays game with 4K and i really love it.
Me too!!! But better wait til december, when the consoles are out. Prices of pc parts are going down!! And also quarentine is making actual Prices be higher than Normal.
I have a ryzen 5 3500 with 16GB 3000mhz dual channel ram. If I get this card, will there be any bottleneck or difference in performance from your video?
