What I love about this guy is that unlike other PC components reviewers, he reviews from mid to low range cards, being real and being realistic because not all of us can buy those expensive cards that other channels review.
yeah and also he is using low settings and he is trying to get playable fps unlike others who just max settings, compare gpus to 3090 and saying that it is unplayable
I picked up a gtx 750 and 750 ti for my kids, at the start of the pandemic. I got both for under $75. My kids have a blast playing Minecraft and may other games with their friends. The fact that these cards still receive driver support is a bonus. Thanks for the review.
@@kirkbrown1267 That's amazing, I had no idea that the drivers are still being updated 'till today, that's incredible! Thanks for sharing. the 750 TI is a solid legendary/historical graphics card.
@@lukasHenchman Hey AMD user here, Freesync works really well on my 6800xt, if you have a Freesync monitor both AMD and Nvidia can use it, if you have a Gsync monitor sadly it only works with Nvidia. Also make sure to cap the framerate below your monitors refreshrate (so 144hz monitor cap it at 140 or so) to make sure the Freesync/Gsync works. If your framerate goes above your monitors refresh rate the Freesync/Gsync stops working
I have a gigabyte 2GB version of the card and with an overclock it should work fine in 720p or even 1080p in some games , the only problem is the lack of true DX 12 support
why is lack of dx12 a problem? i have a 1650 desktop variant, and i ve never seen games that actually use only dx12. And i ve tried dx12 in some games and its way laggier so idk
@@rcbero1836 God of War, Days Gone, Halo (require native dx12 support) Call of duty (MW, BOCW, Vanguard), Forza, Battlefield 2042, Read Dead 2... There are a lot you just don't pay attention
@@rcbero1836 a lot of games nowadays require at least DX12 supported drivers. Like another person listed, a lot of these are intensive and/or new titles so yes DX12 support is an absolute necessity. Hell even Red Dead 2 didn’t even launch in this video
The conclusion of this video is great and I completely agree. You don't need to spend a fortune on a gaming PC to play good games so a GPU like this one is very adequate for most people.
u need a new gaming PC mostly because the devs don't care about the quality of the games realization just shitting all the beautiful effects, but I'm huge performance costs This is so disappointing Good things not all of them are like this
Only if you choose and budget your parts wisely, otherwise specific prebuilt machines with the pci express 16 slot can run gpus up the psus limit very affordably.
Looking forward for a old i5 or gt 740 benchmark next Sunday also i did not know the 750 1gb still had this much potential in modern games where I thought it will only be slightly better than something like gt 730 😀
To be honest, the fact that this gpu is able to run newer titles like forza even at 720p seems quite impressive given the fact that it’s age and that it was supposed to be a mid range card even when new plus the pricing you can get it today (atleast in Australia) it’s barely $100 and for a gpu that’s really worth it. Great video game bench choice and great video overall dude! Also would like to see more RTX 20 series especially the 2080 if possible
I actually had this card since like 2014, my first pc, GIGABYTE model, it ran okay for a couple of games. Minecraft 1.8 peaked at 400 FPS with average of like 200 FPS, super optimized. CSGO was around 90 FPS. I had a bad CPU so Valorant and Fortnite was pretty choppy, but finally sold it after I bought a new PC. Had good times with it.
Sorry for asking again but just wanna make sure you've seen the comment, can you test Dead by Daylight in the future? It's a popular game and I'm sure it's gonna be fun to watch you play it. Love your content!
@@yu-gi-ohmasterdisaster4947 My games are on an HHD which has terrible read/wrrite speeds. Could that be contribuing to the stuttering and low FPS in certain games?
For people wondering about RDR2 , the 2GB version can run it fine around 30fps in 720p so probably GT 1030 level and with an OC it could be even better
I wish I had this GPU in my old PC back in days cuz I had a GTS 450 that time and it's performance was average in many games but was pretty bad in GTA V I still remember I had 25 fps in many places across the map.
Amazing video kryzzp...great as always ❤ Today i tried playing cyberpunk on my ryzen 3 2200g with single 8 gig stick and when i downloaded before patch 1.5 it gave below 10 fps and now with 720p low with fsr at quality it gives me THE CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE....can you plz retest your vega 8 in cyberpunk 2077...just wanna see what it gets with dual channel ram 😅
I don't really game much anymore, but I have a GTX 750 2gb from Zotac and it's still a little beast, I always get surprised of how it runs modern titles at playable fps, but I don't like to force it much so I only play older titles or newer titles at low graphics. Now that GPUs are having reasonable prices again I'll probably update it for something a little more powerful and keep my trusty GTX 750 around for good luck .
Olá! Eu comprei agora a semana passada uma GTX 750 4gb em segunda mão e é melhor que a de 1 e 2 GB porque da para jogar 1080p em grande parte dos jogos do gênero de cs, fortnite, splitegate, efootball etc. O resto 900p/720p depende do jogo. Continua com os vídeos máquina!💪
Before getting my GTX 1060 6Gb, I was using a 2Gb version of the GTX 750 and it was really great. Showing weakness only on 2018+ titles. The 2Gb buffer is really important imo, it makes most games less stuttery and you can crank up a bit the resolution in some games.
Agree, I have one too, even some 2018+ well optimized games the GPU can run them very well, a good OC can save the GPU too, I am hoping to get a 1650 super performance level for an upgrade
Still using it after 5 years And kinda still got power , right now playing resident evil 2 remake And im surprise Its pretty much playable , in small locations even 60fps . Legendary GPU
Nice overview and verdict. 100% agree. Not everybody can afford and needs a high end GPU. Just got the 2GB for my 10 year old son to play Roblox, Fortnite etc. and it should be fine I guess.
I'm going through a tough time financially and had to sell my RTX 3080 and ended up buying a EVGA 2GB GTX 750 FTW locally for $35, I'm really happy with it.
I'm wondering if this GPU would have major performance degradation if it was installed in a PC with slower RAM , like an AM3+ platform with DDR3 1333MHz (my older PC was just like that) Yet , in this specific setup the GTX750 1GB did outstanding job !! very impressed !! --P.S. I have the ASUS GTX750 2GB model , which i had donated for few years to a friend ,but recently his PC had been malfunctioning and i replaced the GTX750. Still not sure if the GPU was indeed the problem , so it sits in my library ... patiently waiting for a future testing , lol !!
This probably has one of the best performance-per-watt of any card out there. It seems to as good as the GTX 650 Ti BOOST at least in Dota 2. Amazing how good Maxwell was despite being on the same node as Kepler (which itself isn't THAT bad, it was great for its time). I completely agree with your final thoughts! I've seen several videos on the GTX 750 Ti that basically say RIP or something like that. I really don't agree with that. Sure, it struggles a bit with the latest titles but most individuals on a budget new to PC gaming aren't thinking about that. It still has plenty of power to enjoy several games at various resolutions. The GTX 660 is another great budget intro card which no one even mentions anymore but it fulfills a similar niche and is often even cheaper. Even weaker truly outdated cards like the GTS 450 or HD 5770 can still be good for the budget-oriented new gamer. They can be found for as little as $30. And as you've shown, can play GTA V, a AAA game from 2015, at 1080p low with no problem. And some of these new gamers who don't care for even older AAA stuff might get tricked into spending $300+ instead on the RTX 3050 which while obviously extremely better performance, they probably didn't need, and they could spend those $270 on things such as a better power supply, a larger SSD, better motherboard, etc. I know some don't agree but after working with those GPUs after using the GeForce 210 and HD 5450 for a while, I can tell you that I'll be glad with those $30 GPU because the weaker games I played will look and run way better. And for most people using those super-weak GPUs, that's all they could want. Btw play as Jack in GTA V one day! Don't know if international versions of GTA V are censored but it'd make for some funny moments! Actually you might get Jaclyn instead... Hmm.
Have you considered ever testing an emulator like dolphin for Sunday videos? Definitely not necessary but I would like to see how all these cards do at emulation
I think Nvidia should make another gtx card for the budget market who doesn’t care to much about ray tracing, similar to a 3050 or upcoming 4050 but without the rtx crap for like sub $150 or maybe at the max $200, gtx 1750
This was my second 🥈 GPU but now thank God that I upgraded to something better GTX 1060 6GB it's beast of a card for games that are from 2018,2019,2020 and it can do pretty good with assassin's Creed Valhalla and other Ubisoft titles And it can achieve 60FPS on 1080p very high setting in most of recent titles don't trust me give it a try . Edit: thanks
im currently using the 2GB version. it is actually decent and capable of driving some heavy games title. and the fact that this card doesnt require any pin power is so pleasing
Would be nice to see some far cry 6, Microsoft flight simulator and even guardians of the galaxy. Very good for testing as well. Love your channel as always. Definitely been my favorite Benchmarker alongside Santiago Santiago. And please, don't mock or joke about Jesus, I would greatly appreciate that. Just be respectful towards other people's views.
Recently I buy a gtx 660 (2gb) for 20 euros for replace my gtx 560 ti (1gb). And I'm very happy I play at star wars battlefront 2, titanfall 2, fortnite and other easily 😀
