Already pre-ordered. Bought the first one again when it dropped a few weeks ago although I already played it on Wii U back in the days. Brilliant platformer and funny games! Can't wait to become a Kung Fu Chicken master :D
very nice review. I loved the first game so i'm glad this one is also good and it's finally coming to the switch. Also all games should have a playable chicken. Imagine zelda where you control the Cuccos, they're already overpower. Who needs links when you could save hyrule with the power of "a glorious pollo". xD
I had guacamelee 1 on pc and I loved it..now Im getting the second on switch and I love it has a co-op to play it with a friend ;) It has only €10 now on nintendo eshop
I wanted to get this game while it is on sale but still no where near beating first and getting Sega collection, smash, and that battle Madelyn game in next few days. So might have to wait for this one
Fantastic review mark. great comedy. Total Total modern classic .. part goat, all chicken. i do believe this is one of those games that misses a platinum trophy system, because its one of those rare games that trophies add more to the difficluty curve and challenges. Trophies that get you to find things in the game you wouldnt normally bother with , like speed runs in the trials area and character changes, and one for a huge super combo, one to 100 percent the world, one to not get hit (perfect) one of the fights in hard mode, and one to beat hard mode etc etc. just adds a purpose to the grind. all hail the chicken.. i love him too .
Huh, it's looks really interesting, will wait to buy it, got the first one and don't want any spoilers, only good things about this series, El Pollo, that's how you know a game has the right amount of humor, I also will only play single player :( , sure will buy it when I finish the last first one, happy gaming
Seems to be a step up from the first. I am wondering the 4 player mode is through the campaign, or does it have special modes (like a versus mode), or special levels Would be great if it had all three. The game definitely looks promising and not overly challenging as to pick up for all ages
I bought this game last night. It plays and looks great! Looks pretty nice on my 55 inch Lgtv. I'm gonna try it 2 player a little later. Thanks for the review!
@@SwitchUpYt good point, man. It's not worth going into debt checking out these amazing games for my Nintendo Switch (which was approved by Best Buy and paid it off in November)
When you mentioned chicken mechanics im not sure your age but you look close to me ...do you remember eternal champions the fighting game for Sega cd and unlocking crispy the chicken playable character?I'm petty sure he didn't have a great move set but my friends hated me playing as him kinda like odd job in Golden eye on n64 they were so small they were hard to hit
So I spent the last two days deciding if I should buy Inside or Ori and the blind Forrest for switch. After plenty of research I picked up Guacamelee 2
Played both Guacamelee STCE and this sequel, and surprisingly I prefer the first one (except for the “improved chicken mechanics,” of course). Especially the story of this sequel doesn’t have the gravity of the first Guacamelee, in which the matter of the living and the dead was more dramatically dealt with (most of all, the ending!). The same brilliant idea felt just like a simple platforming mechanic in this sequel. Boss characters/fights as well, they were much more forgettable in this sequel.
With that discount due to purchasing the 1st game in effect. I’m looking forward to playing this sequel. Gimme all them metroidvania. To quench my thirst for more of metroidvania on switch. Good review as well guys. 👌🏻
007 373 5963 yeah I was able to play it, as well as hollow knight. I haven’t bought icanocast which is another somewhat Metroidvania game that deals with some interesting story. Dandara is also another pretty cool metroidvania game that I completed awhile back.
Very nice review! I played the previous iteration on PC back in the day, but this pleasant video got the itch scratching again. Too bad Smash and Horizon Chase Turbo are first on the pick order, also Monster Boy ... oh god what to buy, what to buy.

4:48 the word "machismo" is used incorrectly there (that word means an attitude to think that men are superior than women, it's a form of sexism), I guess what you wanted to say was "virility" (or "virilidad" in Spanish).
I don't agree with the high story points. Same with the first Guacamelee! They are ok, but nothing more than ok. I would even say the story itself is mediocre compared to the rest of the game. 18/20 is a near perfect score... I mean what would you give the original Kotor for example? 25/20?
YEAH really a good game, i bought it on sales and its totally worth it... I like the fact that it has co op... But im sure its more a mess🤣🤣🤣👍💪💪so dont be sad😂😂
How much of the time changing mechanics is in this this 1 I really am turned off by that type of mechanic even my favorite games ever the metroid games and prime 2 echos really made me force myself to finish it the whole dark and light world to me I'd rather play other m than echos again
