It’s amazing in every detail: MTV (when it was about music, “I love my MTV” 😊), young Guano apes, live audience without fkn cellphones in the air. My friends has often told me to go with them smoking or walking in the hood, but I didn’t wanted to miss these moments at the TV and I was completely right. Amazing times ❤
Im a huge fan of nu métal, rock band like faith no more etc, its their influence. I recognize this hit song but in start 2000 i didnt interessed on this band, its the time ! Their 2 first album i love it
I will *_never_* get tired of introducing people to Guano Apes. "Oh? You never heard of them? Listen to this - it will change your life!" Works every time.
Oh my, I was there back then and it was fantastic. The whole festival was, even with the "funny" Marilyn Manson end :-) ...Aaaah, youth memories..*sigh*
@@af1762 well, MM was the last act in the evening. He was not happy with the technical equipment on stage. First the band was extremely late to begin with ( I think 45 minutes at least) They started playing one song, Manson smashed his microphone onto the floor and ran off stage like an insulted diva. We waited another 20 minutes or so, the band returned, only for the exact same thing to happen. Was too much for many in the audience. They started complaining, MM started insuling the audience, about a minute later all hell broke loose. MM was off stage, but the audience entered the stage and a huge crowd fight began, all the band equipment flew through the air ( I remember seeing all this, drums flying through the air, people beating each other no matter who it was, from further away as I was wise enough the feel the mood shift early enough and go back to one of the food stands way behind the crowd). Sandra Nasic from Guano Apes bravely entered the stage with a microphone and desperately tried to calm people down saying things like: common people, stop this, don't do this.' but with no success. It ended with the festival no being allowed again in that air field and the mayor of the small community losing his job over MMs behaviour. Many, me included, said we would never go to one of MMs single concerts ever, I never did. The rest of the festival was awesome though, the best I ever was at.
@@Bess1201 Thank you for replying! I only saw the date of your comment after I posted mine :D That sounds so wild for that to happen, wow! What times! That's a shame to hear about Manson's behaviour as I really like his music. I wish I was able to attend these concerts back in the prime days of Guano Apes and other bands from that era, especially in Germany where it seems all the best festivals were. And early 2000 trance music... But I was 11 and in a small country where these things didn't really happen.
