I feel similarly about the not being able to talk to creators directly now, most creators just seem unreachable now, which is kinda sad, but understandable, given just how accessible the internet is now. There seems to be a lot more children/people in general on the internet now that act inappropriately/annoying towards content creators, which could be a reason these content creators don’t interact with fanbases anymore. Usually if I want to interact with a content creator now I just slide them a piece of fan art and hope that they eventually see it and don’t lump me in with the rude people lol
woah!!!! a double whammy! It's nice to match some faces to the audio I'm hearing now. Also I definitely agree on how quarantine has affected parasocial relationships, due to how isolated some individuals have been over the past few months. I get a bit paranoid at times if I'm getting too buddy-buddy with people, but that just might be some anxiety talking lol
Thanks for introduction to this fun, curious movie! Seems like the one where they wanted to give the protagonist some character growth but then just forgot.
Re-watching this because it's great and in reference to 58:12, Sam Neill WAS the cat burglar Molloy in that Simpsons episode, Pierce Brosnan voiced an evil robot house in a Treehouse of Horror years later.
Funny Ryan mentioning Lawrence Tierney, I watched just yesterday the episode of Simpsons where he voices the store detective Don Brodka and recognized his voice as Elaine's dad in that one episode of early Seinfeld (where he scared the whole cast and stole a knife from the set apparently)
Neil, will you upload the lyrics for the songs in the description on NeilCicergaMusic like the original owner of the channel did? Especially Nightmare fuel, pizza heroes and lollipops
If you guys like Sam Neil and haven't seen Possession (1981) you're in for a treat. Patrick Bateman also lives in the same building as Tom Cruise in the book.
Chalk it up to growing pains. Cropping/composing in OBS is kinda whacky and not terribly scientific (yet). Not sure how it's "honestly gross," but this was our first attempt at an OBS show.
