Get out of my head, Michael! I was absolutely wondering about this with my Driver. I've been "covering the ball" well with my irons and wondered if it would translate to the longer Clubs. But with Winter golf, I don't have the luxury of trying new things on the course - gotta make every shot count. I guess I could have gone to the practice range, but again, if it's warm enough to hit, then I prefer to play. Great content! Thanks again!

My experience is that with flipping the ball (using the wrist more at impact) with irons I hit longer shots ( about 10% more distance) than when I play with more compression (i.e. covering the ball with my chest). Does this sound familiar?

Are there any tips to help cover the ball with your chest without dropping your head?

I’ve never been able to get good, consistent compression with my driver. With my irons I can picture how I need to compress ball into ground so it’s easier but with the ball on the tee I can’t seem to visualize it.
