No, he is not a dancer, and had to do a' boy band camp' to get the moves. He has admitted he was terrified of doing the dancing, but if he could manage to not fall off the stage he thought he might be OK. On the other hand - he acts like a dream, sings all the songs, genuinely plays piano and guitar. So what's not to love? The rising star that is Nicholas Dimitri Constantine Galizine.

He worked with a dancer everyday. The blonde one is a dancer that I see often on instagram. It took me a minute to realise he was the one in the movie. All the others are dancers and not actors so he did well to not look overly awkward next to them.

nicholas galitzine somehow seems off in most movies for me. While dancing he looks rather like a robot doing choreo and not "feeling/living" it. Like, he looks like being on stage for the very first time here.

His audition involved the preparation of a song. You will also see that the song that starts to play when the credits start to roll is sang by Nicholas and Anne Marie, and not Hayes Cambell or August Moon. He has also sang in the movie Cinderella as Prince Robert. Had around 7 songs on the soundtrack. He even released his own song called Comfort. So, definitely the real deal.
