I never ignored Calvina. Both her story and Touya's are captivating. Touya is living a normal, unassuming life when his ticket to a world of adventure literally crashed into him. Despite his initial reluctance (and incessant whining), he eventually gets used to and grows fond of his situation while finding out the truth behind his mysterious past and who he really is. Calvina on the other hand is a former ace who seemed to have everything set. A great job, a loving boyfriend, and an overall comfortable lifestyle. Then everything turned upside down when her workplace was raided by a group she didn't even know, killing all of her friends and family and traumatizing her. She became aloof, broken and professional as a result, vowing never to jump back into the cockpit. Fate had other plans though, and she soon found herself back in the pilot's seat of a alien prototype in order to find out what exactly happened that day and if she had a chance at truly living life once more. If those aren't great stories, I don't know what is. Thanks Banpresto, and thanks for uploading this (I saw it somewhere else though :P)

this theme feels so calm and peaceful in contrast to revenger wich sounds kinda sorrowful

Enjoyed Calvina's route much more than Touya. I think it's because it's hard to find a female lead that's a BAMF who isn't there just for fan service or needs rescueing.

The Granteed was one of the best mechs in the entire game. An excellent solo unit when in the hands of an expert.

I would prefer they all get one of the mecha's and let Touya be interchangeable between them. Festina in the Coustwell, Melua in Granteed, and Katie in the Bellzelute. Calvina can be in a heavily modified Vorlent. They can change it that her test mecha wasn't destroyed and she escaped in it before passing out.

Just hope they don't forget to add Calvina when J gets in a OG game.

@TheGogettossj5 Not to mention the sheer amount of characters they would have to deal with. The sheer size of the list gives me the shutters. There's still a chance that J might make it into OGs 2. Not looking too good, but I'm rooting for em.

That's because his role was the antagonist version of A where he was defeated/killed sine they chose the Lamia route. This upset fans so in the remake that made Evil Axel turn into Axel route Axel from A personality wise. I don't use skype sorry, though this is a interesting convo. Well Calvina was an Ace pilot before she quit the military, she can show up as that or even in her test mecha if the next game is months after.

I doubt they'll do that since Al-Van dying means nothing when it comes to upgrade. He only needs to be defeated, besides she has enough rage since she wants revenge and later she figures out that Al-Van was forced to do horrible things and was locked away when he finally rebelled. Course a cell can't hold Al-Van since he returns in time with his Boss Stats Raftclanz. Yes the Moon Cradle exists, they an work it that the Furies have infiltrated it for the longest time. I expect cameos of them.

*jaaaaaaaaaaaawdroooop* Okay...And here I thought, that Valcazard and Rushbird theme remixes were amazing...this one is as good as they were...But it's somehow a lot more calm and soothing. anyway, I definitely want a new SRW game with all series that ever appeared in SRW and all originals. It would be sooo epic ^^...however, there are licensing issues...

Since Calvina and Touya will both be in it means Al-Van wont die since Calvina just being there prevents his death.

I do hope we get J in the next round of OGs. Toss in Calvina with Bellzelute, Touya with Granteed, let the slave girls rotate between the robots or even put one with another new character piloting Coustwell, and you've got a solid new team right there.

I wish one could play with both at the same time. Toya in Granteed and Calvina in Bellzelute. Vorlent was boring to play with. Getting to cleave everything with a giant sword after the upgrade to Rafclans doesn't fully make up for that.

Point taken. On the other hand, i wonder if the Cytron girls will be interchangable (Or however that'sspelled) or not. J's final boss looked kinda bad for some reason, probably that the GBA can't capture it's image, i mean... It's arms can grab combattler for f's sake. You may say that's stilistic, and if i had mentioned the nadesico or the archangel, i'd agree, but it probably IS that big. Oh, J... If you had an updated neo getter you'd be perfect.

Eh, we aren't talking about politics or anything or shipping wars so it's only natural we aren't yelling at each other. Anyway, they can do a lot of things with Calvina's test mecha since it was never shown. I'm guessing that's why Banpresto didn't do it, so they have a back up plan for when J gets in the OG verse. Combination attacks would be nice, didn't think of them.

@SazukeEX1 - I honestly don't understand why Calvina doesn't get more love. I mean, if more Ibis (who's pretty well represented...but not a great deal) and Calvina got more coverage, I'd be a happy man for SRW...no matter how the rest of the series was handled.

J isn't in the next OG game so they didn't. If anything Calvina has a high chance of a cameo since she served in the military and was an ace before she retired to be with Al-Van because he asked her to. Touya has a very unlikely chance of appearing at all since he's in school and doesn't get a mecha til J starts.

I still say SRW J > Most of the new NDS's. I mean The amount of variations you could have with the outcomes of how you're Originals will turn out every play through seems endless and it's always exciting to see what you get in the second latter of the game....Adding in that special 4th original just makes the replay value loop to infinite imo.

if J is going to be appearing in OG3, the Lyunpii better be a little bit faster. They're a little bit too easy to hit.

YHea. But Banpresto also has the chance of killing Al-Van earlyer so that Calvina can get her "upgrade" into a Raftclans (If the vorlent theory is true) and also give her more determination. Huh. Now that i think of it, doesn't the moon cradle exist in OG? We finally get to see it's inside on the OG verse before fighting the fury. Wonder about Sanger's reaction to the orgone sword F mode. True enough, true enough... But still, what wouldn't i give to see an re-made coustwell... The animations would be impossibly awesome. I wonder if Al-Van will be saved oor killed on the OG version (Maybe an Gaiden 2?... Nah, that would be stupid, geeting the fury as passable and retconable would be bad. The upgraded mechs should be on gaiden 2 tough.)

@lionheart1013 ...get updated man. I have it. its complete. Every bit of dialogue, menu, story, everything. only a few tiny mistranslations. Zeorymer of the Skies instead of Zeorymer of the Heavens for instance.

That would work pretty well, actually. My only complaint over that is that the vorlent... just isn't an awfully good mech (Then again, you said it's a vorlet costom.) That, and there is aways the chance of an OG, OG character to make it possible that you can use the big 3 at the same time for... Wait a minute, with the three(Or even just two!) of the Cytron mechs together at the same time means... Combination atacks... Wierd thing such an lengthy youtube discussion isn't a flame war.

Can't comment on the plot, my japanese is lacking... OK, inexistent. Anyway, i see they pretty much remove the whole screaming at kyosuke and hate thing... Well, not too bad, it was drastic alright, but all for the better. And yes, gamefaqs sounds good, I'l be ussing the same nick i have here.

@Elyseon Granteed is IMO more boring to play with. Well, when you get a mecha so broken that even goddamn Valzacard looks normal in comparison from stage one, everything will be boring i guess...

meh Calvina is really ignored I say the Revenger had higher props then Gaurdian Angel, but if the song was done right it would actually be a great song. this version seems too slow and calm. I want OG3 to come out I want to see J characters in there Calvina in a White Raftclans hell yeah!!
