@@chrishemsburger9718 the way i think it does is frame by frame using one of the copy features of the infinity hammer; has to remove and replace the hand in different rotations over and over again for each frame… altho OP can give you the exact details.
I love the story throughout the video! The music is great and the editing goes perfectly with it! Well done. So cool. Can't wait to see what you do next man, what a build!
Much appreciated bro, thanks for your help with various RU-vid questions over the last few weeks. Who knows, maybe there'll be a co-op build sometime in the future? ; )
My computer is crying just thinking about playing this video...amazing stuff! Incredible creativity both in the build, the animative manipulation, and the editing of the video itself
I could spend all day raving about the build OR the video edit! *Incredible* work! The shoulders and fingers especially jumped out at me. Congrats, this is truly amazing!
i use to say that i'm a great builder in vallheim , but then i have to bend the knee and reconize that i just met my master in this game. your work is way above my skill
I've watched every so called BUILD vid on the tube and this is BY FAR THE BEST WOW friggin insane and I agree w that other dude we ARE NOT playing the same valheim 😢❤
Ok.... I retire. Can't even compete. You and I will need to have some conversations over discord. There are more questions than I can think of now haha. Amazing dude...
The build is by itself absolutely incredible, but then you come and make an awesome video with it!! What a time to be alive! Keep it up man, can't wait to see what will come next.
Man am I glad that I stumbled upon you and your work. I can not grasp why on Earth you have so few likes or comments for the jaw dropping work you have gifted us with. You deserve some god damn appreciation ! I love everything about this video. Your beautiful choice of music is so immersive, The smaller details like the Pagoda and Japanese gate alone would be worth a video when you compare what the community usually has on offer. But nothing (save your Dragon Deathwing) could have prepared me for what came after that. I utterly dig how it takes 2 boats to pull one Sentinel scale. You see this massive solitary scale, and then suddenly you see more, and more and then you see a fricking God sized Statue of the utmost beauty. I also loved the transition from Night and Day, and how the statue can impress no matter the time of day. The Colossus of Rhodos would probably go hide behind one of the Sentinels legs so that no one can see him cry with a sudden complex of inferiority. Dhakar, I am sure you are familiar with the mods of Nexus. Have you ever considered sharing your divine creations with the community ? I would only understand too well if you said no, but I will have even less of a chance if I do not ask. Dhakar, keep being amazing, you are the man !
Thank you so much! To answer your question, the Bastion is the first build I have shared for free, almost everything else is on my patreon. I made that decision because I was a lot more protective of my builds when I started, I didn't want someone claiming them as their work when I was completely unknown in the community. Recently I'm less apprehensive of that, and the small but of data I have suggests that the few patrons I have are just want to give appreciation more than download the builds, so I might change things up.. Thanks again for your comments!
@@Dhakhar I am currently in a bad spot, healthwise, otherwise and financially, I have had to put myown Mammoth Valheim project on ice until these issues are resolved, but after that I would certainly be willing to pay for your builds once I can afford to, and maybe even join up on Patreon. I can't promise though. For some reason the youtube algorythm has put builders infront of you, who could not possibly compete, but in time that should change, but I certainly understand your reluctance. Btw, your work has ignited a brainstorm of ideas in my mouldy head, and one of my visions was of a magic armour or wizards cloak with a dazzling effect (possibly for a God size version of Dhakar the Techno mage himself) in which the cloak is basically made out of an endless amount of windmills behind which is some kind of light source (perhaps wisps) so that when the thousands of windmills rotate, they give the semi submerged wisps a sparkling quality to your cloak. As for the Wizards staff, you could really go mental on lighting effects with a god sized staff. You could even create a diorama in which you turn an opponent into a Chicken or similar. Im a fine one to come up with these ideas, I would not have to build them, but I would love to contribute in any way I can. Have I awakened a slumbering deity with this idea ? I will try to ease down on my comments a bit now, or at least stop writing essays before you block me for spamming. 🙃
I just had to comment again, DUDE, these are the single best builds online, how the F Dyu only have 300 subs? Each of your vids should have 1 million views at least, hands down. So glad YT finally decided to show me one of your vids. I think it might be the fact that general audience may not know the actual characters your building so might need to make titles more bombastic and general?? I don’t know man, I’m pissed of at YT I’m not gonna lie
Awesome build, Amazing video,Astounding editing and story, just one question; what is the instance count on that build as I get frame drops at anything over 17k?. Seriously though absolutely bloody brilliant, looking forward to more had to sub instantly on seeing it. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💯
Thank you very much! 72,823 Instances - 23,809 Item stands, 23,052 2m Wood Beams, 4,974 1m Wood Beams, 3,134 Wood Poles and 17,854 other odds and ends.
I'm new to the game and proud of my circular pig pen...meanwhile on other maps...oh my goodness! In my absolute state of awe and wonder, I have 2 questions. Did you collect all the resources to build him and approximately how many hours did it take you to make him? I'm just blown away, this is incredible and you are seriously, seriously creative! The attention to detail you have achieved is pure genius! 🤩🤩
Thank you very much Jessica! I have no real idea how many hours it took, only that it was an on-and-off project for about a month whilst helping a friend with his builds. I did not collect the resources, it is made with 'devcommands' on. I worked out how much Fine Wood you would need for the Item Stands alone, and it's equal to 40% of all Birch trees in the average world!
So I just have ONE remaining question, how the F**K did you get the arm to spin!?!? 😂😂😂 don’t hate me for saying this but the stop motion building montage at the start was my personal favourite part, then the actual builds and the fights were just so good that I don’t think I have the ability to properly fully appreciate just how insanely good they are 😂😂😂🙈🙈🙈🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 you are the Valheim build GOAT
Thank you my man, for all your wonderfully kind comments! The armspin was done with the InfinityHammer mod but in a hacky/unintended way... Much more to come on that front in my Halloween video, and eventually a tutorial of sorts :D
Thank you! At its worst, with everything in view and at max settings, a buttery smooth 6 fps. ItemstandAllItems has a setting to make the itemstand itself invisible when something is attached, enabling this boosted me to from 6 to 10 fps, which helped a lot!
I can figure out how you built so large (place the big Rocks inside the structure to create new "Ground") but the REAL question is did you have to use NASA's super computer to get better than 1 FPS anywhere near it? No srs, how did you have ANY frame rate near it while also getting the entire thing to load at once from a distance? I've built to the absolute max using a combination of Iron-Stone-Wood and if I'm standing at the bottom, the top isn't loaded with max settings.
Haha, I don't think even a NASA computer would help! In my experience and having talked to other builders with much more powerful rigs than mine, the games code is the bottleneck. There seems to be very little performance gain around huge builds with better hardware. The build is around 6-10fps when fully in view. There is a brilliant mod called RenderLimits that lets you change the distance things are loaded in, very handy for screenshots and videos.
I hadn't thought about a rogue idol hahaha! That could totally work. I'm thinking about some undead next.. Necrofex colossus? Mortis Engine? Black pyramid of Nagash? 🤔
Hehe, it is tanked, but I smoothed it out a lot with video editing. I don't have an in game solution to mega-base lag unfortunately, but have done a lot of testing to see what lags the game the most.
Infinite height is possible without mods, but without Gizmo for the extra angles it would look a lot less dynamic imo. Check out the Berzerk Statue by @mythicbuilds2951 for a similar idea with no mods.
How on earth did your frames not plummet into oblivion? With a high-performance rig I still lose a bazillion frames along with everyone I play the game with
I regret to report I am not immune to this problem. In game I get between 6-10 fps with the build fully in view, fully rendered, max settings. Better hardware doesn't solve the issue unfortunately, the bottleneck is the games code. Check your systems load when near a large build vs when in a brand new area. Video is made much smoother with some editing tricks.
