The incredible amount of effort that went into this and the fact that everyone involved was just like "I'll do it!" will never not make me smile

I love the part where Pratt found out about all of this *after* it had been shot - he was busy with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom at the time - and basically screwed around in front of a green screen in the robot suit so he could be spliced in. Stuff like this is 101% percent why the MCU is so great; everyone involved - writers, actors, support people - is having the time of their lives, and going out of their way to add fun things to it.

The reveal that Chris was the robot the whole time killed me 😆

Really wishing this was a post-credits scene

I love how you don't even notice at first everyone in this are the actors and James Gunn himself on drums. That's what I love about Gunn, you're making a movie with a talking tree and raccoon you know the movie can't be taken seriously.

This is why GOTG is my favorite MCU franchise.

The fact that Anthony mackie pitched the idea of the avengers cast remaking this makes it so much better

The fact this exists always cracks me up. This is a solid production that costed time and money, with dancers, music and editing. Yet theres absolutely no explanation or reason this had to be made. Not even a joke to tie in from the movie other than David Hasselfhoff's .5 second cameo.

My favorite thing about this is how much it genuinely does look like something from the 80s. Usually people modernize ‘80s looks when they try to recreate them, but this video nailed most of the hair, makeup, video quality, dance moves, everything.

In my head, they brought David Hasselhoff out to shoot his cameo just for the day. Unrelatedly, one of the costume assistants was clearing up and happened upon an old, forgotten storage room filled with retro costumes. They shoot David's stuff early in the day and it goes much faster than expected because he works so well with the rest of the cast. Then he says "Well, you flew me out here for the day, is there anything else you would like to do while you have me here?" Yes, yes there is

I like to imagine someone wrote Gamora’s Zardu Hasselfrou line and then the next morning James Gunn woke up in a cold sweat with this whole video in his head
