I could see homelander also wanting to use the 4 they framed for secret missions/assassinations due to each of their powers being useful asf in a lot of scenarios. Especially marie and andre, if he could get anywhere close to magnetos level he’d be op asf and marie can do anything to any supe even homelander, she coulda crushed his heart before he lasered her.

Since Marie is leveling up in the moment, we don't know her ceiling. I agree, maybe her blood clotting saved her. Maybe she was able to heal herself quick enough in the moment as Homelander was burning her.

I believe something about her powers let her take the blast with minimal damage, which is why Neuman isn't scared of shit, and Marie had no damage on her. It's not like she was in a bed recovering.
