Its not a situation where the director laughs and the whole crew gives a fake laugh right behind him. The actors/ director / entire crew seem to be LOVING what they are doing.. and it comes through.
@@anneson4724 he's a voice actor in this. Voice acting doesn't mean you're a weeb. Voice acting and physical acting are different and credited differently.
I love how amped Dave Bautista looks in every take he's in. You can just tell he's having the best time, so fucking stoked he got to break into the MCU he deserves it! EDIT- Having seen Guardians 2 this weekend, Dave fucking NAILED it. Man, he was one of the highlights for sure. TEAM DRAX
Whenever I see videos like these, it just makes me realize how difficult filmmaking has become for the director and actors. Previously, when scenes were shot, what they saw was what there was, for a lot of films now, you have to be such a visionary. James Gunn had to direct scenes post edit, knowing how they would lookin in the final edit. All the actors have to just imagine that the sceneries, props and other things are there, when all they see are blue screens. It's quite impressive.
Damn the whole casting is so spot on! From the old ones even to the voice actors, to the ravagers to Nebula to the new ones like Mantis. Everyone is their character! James Gunn really made 2 masterpieces! Can't wait for Volume 3!
Bradley Cooper does an amazing job as Rocket. Vin Diesel make us love Groot even more. The chemistry between everyone was magic. The best part is they let Drax's character bloom and blossom into a better character. And then, family. All they do is fuss, fight, and bicker; but that's what family does. Great movie. Can't wait for their bog part in Infinity Wars and GotG3!
GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE !!! IT IS AWESOME !!!....It's so weird though, to not actually, physically see Rocket and baby Groot in theses reels, because they are so very present in the movie, that you think of them as totally real (even though you know that they are CGI with Bradley and Vin voicing them). They are by far, my favourite characters =D
I know technology has gotten a lot better over the years, but I still feel like it would be the most frustrating thing making sure Yondu's blue head doesn't mix with the blue screen behind him!
Baby Groot steals the first 10 minutes of this movie and I loved it! I loved the first one but after seeing this one I loved it even more! Had everything! Made you laugh cry and feel a whole lot of feels.
The fact that he said we've never seen the full grown groot makes me really excited because in the comics groot is close to 20 feet tall and that would be SO SICK
I can't imagine how hard that must be to imagining all that stuff being there dress up in costume, act in front of hundreds of people. Not break character. Or crack up and mess up. Not what I was expecting but I give these actors props. Doubt few people could do this and remain serious.
I think it's really healthy and really important that we as an audience see just how much work and planning goes into making these films, I think it's important to remember that even if the films is bad or poorly written (Not saying Guardians 2 was) A LOT of work goes into making it! And it should be appreciated.
MrReasonabubble They probably have the editing settings set to that certain shade of blue, notice how his head is a different shade I dunno it's movie magic man
It's done differently than the green screen that screws up the weather girls outfit. It's blue cause blue has a relatively small bandwidth and appears less in real life than other shades. Also it's digital now so if they don't want yondu to have weather girl head they just select his head and exclude it in the editing software. Green vs. blue screen, two totally different ways of achieving the same result.
MrReasonabubble no problem! I watched a vid about it a looong time ago, it was really interesting. If it's something you're even mildly curious about it's worth looking up. Not a waste of your time, you won't be disappointed. 😉👍
Man, making movies is hard work. I'd never seen a video like this that just shows you raw footage of the moviemaking process. But I guess for the amount of money they make it's not bad.
It always amazes me to see what goes into making a movie like this. Even little stages are so seamlessly stitched with a CG background it's hard to tell what's the stage and what is green screen. So cool!
It's amazing to actually see even a glimpse of the hard work these folks put into this project. Also the realization of how good these performers are as well as the Director and crew. I'd love to work on either side of the camera. Bravo!
it's really cool to see despite all the blue screen and CGI necessary for these big budget blockbusters that most of the stunts and effects are done practically where they can be which really adds a lot to a film in my opinion
Plot twist, Star Lord, Yondu, Nick Fury, The Punisher, and Blade all meet each other no one says a word they just intensely look at each others coats until Peter yells, DID WE JUST BECOME BEST FRIENDS?
Nebula may have become a new favorite character. She's like an angry cyborg puppy. Go on ahead, Vin. Tap into your inner Groot. Ha, Chris Pratt looks like a kid playing with a toy gun. I'd be tempted to make shooting sounds the whole time.
Watching this and towards the end it hits me like a truck...Rocket and Groot are CGI and I totally forgot and never looked at them as such. What a credit to the team who took that on.
why don't we ever see rocket or groot in the behind the scenes lol can't wait anymore but I have to James gunn is a great and underestimated director can't to see what he does after these amazing films
Hehe oh I thought rocket and groot were real beings... lol I was messing around but it would be great fun if they did a rocket and groot outtakes and bloopers purposely made it would be great to see what sir gunn could have done with them all the best matey , "Go Go Guardians Of The Galaxy vol 2...3...4...5" and it will have to be done by gunn
Rocket out takes would be amazing! Have him tell off James gunn and walk off set... Oh the possibilities! I'm amazed they haven't done already, really.
Where are the bloopers? Didn't see any? All Isaw was a behind the scenes of the movie with a couple of short interviews. Don't say that there are bloops when there aren't any. Thumbs Down in a big way!!!!.
