Notice how Arin dropped the act at almost exactly the 10 minute mark. You know he was looking at the clock the whole time like, "Are we done? Can I stop now?".

This video shows how Arin could be fucking genius in his comedy. How he immediately stopped acting at EXACTLY 10:00, is just pure gold.

I love it when Danny plays the straight man opposite to Arin. Those are the best episodes.

Gubble is actually one of the most complex and emotionally developed characters not just in video games, but in all of fiction.

This is me explaining things I love to friends who don't care

This was my first Game Grumps video. I don't regret watching this.

At first glance Gubble appears to be one of many generic, throw away games. Pac-man inspired gameplay, oddly colored 3d sprites scattered everywhere, and so on. However, Gubble is not only deeper than it sounds, but is indeed deeper than most games you will find on any platform. The story seems simple at first: an alien infant, Gubble, has been kidnapped by aliens and forced to remove nails from a planet. One may find this generic or boring, but upon closer inspection, you start to notice some problems. Why do the aliens run away after dropping Gubble there as if they are afraid of being seen in the planet's airspace? Why do the native inhabitants of the planet try to kill Gubble so adamantly in his pursuit to fulfill the wishes of his alien slave masters? What exactly, are these structural elements holding in place that the natives are so intent on protecting? Is Gubble not in fact being forced to dismantle an entire planet and commit mass genocide? These worrying questions coupled with the fact that the bonus stage intro screen depicts the cute, innocent Gubble sailing over waves of blood on eerily levitating hammers makes it clear that there is a much darker, troubled core to this game than one would first imagine. The music contributes to this symphony of child exploitation and widespread carnage- most if not all the tracks are haunting and eerie as if something is going terribly wrong, made even more potent by interludes of childish and innocent music interspersed within. In closing, Gubble is not the simplistic game it appears. It is a tale of child slavery, exploitation, and genocide. It is also an educational title if you would like to instruct your children on how to dismantle planets with common household items. There are many mysteries to be unraveled in this game, but the only mystery remaining to me at the moment is why you haven't bought this game yet

Sometimes I legitimately worry for Arin's sanity. This... is not one of those times because GUBBLE IS THE FUCKING BEST I'LL RIP OUT THE THROAT OF ANYONE WHO SAYS DIFFERENTLY AAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!

I've watch this so many times and I still lost my shit at 'Gubble is a game for experts'

This is the greatest opening to any game grumps ever. I watch the first 30 seconds at least twice a week. Its just perfection in comedy

And at 10:04 and half a second, Arin's mind was finally set free from the mind control of Gubble.

This is the video I hold up as exhibit A in why I prefer Dan over Jon. The contrast between Arin acting like a crazy person and Dan replying in a sensible fashion is funny. The whole point of comedy is to juxtapose the real with the unreal. If Arin had a Gubble-related freakout while Jon was not-so-grump, Jon would have screamed even louder in an attempt to out-Gubble Arin. Jon and his penchant for screaming directly into the microphone always felt to me like artificially wacky behavior, while Dan's calm persona feels real.

IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THIS EPISODE FOR THE PAST 84 YEARS

Do you ever wonder how shitty it would feel to pour your heart and soul into a project you're very passionate, and then offer that project to the world with a smile on your face, and then have hundreds of people say you suck and rant about how the guy before you was better? That must blow.

Holy fuck I played this game when I was a kid and completely forgot about it!

You can tell that when Arin suddenly says, "GUBBLE IS A GAME FOR EXPERTS." that Dan can only think, "oh God, not another one of these games..."

Arin's insane explosion at the end is always my favorite. Like I'm pretty sure I've watched this like 20 times, it always makes me die laughing cause he's so desperate sounding like he was being held at gun point and then found a way to disarm the assailant and is like "OH GOD DAN RUN"

I remember this game from when I was a really little kid but was convinced up until now that it was just a really weird fever dream

You know, it would make it a hell of a lot easier on a lot of fans if people honestly would just shut the fuck up with these stupid criticisms of Danny, and how much they want Jon back. People seriously are sitting at home, making fuckin Pros and Cons lists about Danny and Jon. He isnt coming back, you want him so bad, wait for his videos on JonTron and stop whining. The funny thing is, I myself was a JonTron fan before I even knew about anything GameGrumps related, so I, of course, was upset when he left, understandably, however Ive realized that Danny is just as funny and makes me laugh just as hard as Jon did. To me, they are literally completely equal. Danny = Jon _not_ Jon > Danny _nor_ Danny > Jon Theres your 3rd grade math lesson for today. Thank you, I'll get off my soapbox now.

I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for that, but I don't care because this episode reminded me again why I'm STILL missing Jon in this show. Arin is trying to come up with something funny and Dan is like - "What the fuck are you talking about...?" all the time. ALL the time. I know, that's the joke. But, c'mon, this is such a missed oportunity. Back in the old days, Jon was the active one. He came up with almost all the crazy jokes, singing and other stuff, giving something to hook on - and Arin took it, adding something. That's why they got this amazing synergy in the Let's Play's. Old GG felt rarely any forced. Now, Arin has to be the active one. And he is not necessarily bad at it, he's trying his best. He's trying to hook Dan with jokes a lot of times. And Dan is like - "What the hell are you saying? You're talking shit right now." I think there could be done something way funnier with it, instead of the "straight-man-attitude" joke.

The “WE’RE PLAYING FUCKING GUBBLE” being far away from the mic making it sound all distant makes it so much funnier than if he was just yelling right into the mic
