I use the shade 1-Fair in the CT bronzer, simply because I'm only a shade or two up from clotted cream. It gives me a really nice colour without me looking like toast! I've had the lightest colours in some brands; Laura Mercier 01, ABH Rosewood, Nars Laguna which are too dark, so the CT one works really well.💙:-)
I also use shade 1 and it’s great for me. For reference I use shade 2 fair in the airbrush foundation and shade 1 in the powder :) This shade has eased me into using bronzer 😂
I'm thinking about buying the fair, but I would like to see it in person first, when I am able to get to a Sephora that is open. Sadly, we are not allowed to swatch anything anymore in the US.
Both bronzers look amazing, but the Gucci packaging is stunning. That is what is drawing me in, if price wasn't the issue and I had to pick between the two, I would automatically go toward the Gucci.

Girl, I do not need to be buying a $60 bronzer but you have me thinking about it! I am a sucker for a good bronzer. My holy grail is the discontinued KVD bronzer that blends beautifully and had a bit of gold shimmer, it was perfect. That Gucci... wow.
I took a chance and ordered Gucci shade 3, very happy I love it. Then I noticed the back of compact states shade 2, so I ran and fished the invoice and box out of recycling , shade 3 on both. Somehow ended up with shade 2 , I guess. Anyway it’s beautiful and I am keeping it
FYI, the Amy Loves Makeup channel did a review of the CT Fair bronzer if you want to see it. She loved it and did comparison swatches to show how different it is from other brands.
I have shade 1 of the CT and that’s as bronze as I ever want to be. I’m a redhead with very fair skin. Other bronzers are always too dark or too orange.
This was so helpful, I have been debating between these! I think I’ll go for the Gucci because I like how it performs and that glow is so beautiful. In holland the price difference is ‘only’ 5€. I love the packaging of the Gucci better as well
Great video! I have shades fair and medium in the Charlotte Tilbury bronzer. I can use fair but it is a very very subtle bronzer on me which I actually don't mind. I have to be careful with medium or it can be muddy. Also the CT can make me look a little dry by the end of the day. I wish there was a shade in between fair and medium. I haven't gotten the Gucci bronzer yet. I'm thinking it is too red for me. My favorite bronzer is Marc Jacobs Tan-tastic. For reference I'll be 68 on Thursday (good heavens!), very dry mature skin with a light complexion (Shiseido refreshing foundation in Linen and Quartz mixed, TF Shade & Illuminate in Vellum 2.7). You look gorgeous!
I have the Charlotte shade 1 and I love it-it looks like a believable tan on me and I like not having to worry about overdoing it. (I’m fair-skinned and hardly tan. I can see using this one in the winter, too.) I also have the Gucci in shade one and have to go on very lightly. It’s SO pretty and looks a bit more like a tan/burn on me bc of the red. I can see using this for slightly more glam looks and at night. I sometimes use them together-the Gucci on my cheeks and the Charlotte all over my face. Both look good as eyeshadow. But if you’re trying to choose btw the two, if you’re VERY fair-like red-hair and freckles-and want a natural look, the Gucci might be too dark, even in number 1, and the Charlotte would be great.
I use the charlotte tilbury no 1 for my summer finishing powder. I love it. I wear a dior shade 2.0 foundation so I am not super light. His is a beautiful finish with a hint of color. My favorite
Thanks for the review Charlotte!! I love my CT bronzer and for my glowy bronzer I have the Kosas bronzer which I’m totally loving so will give this one a miss!!! Plus I really don’t like fragrance in makeup or skincare!! I’m just fussy like that !! 😝💓

I prefer my chanel les beiges powder finish over the Charlotte tilbury as it has a slight luminosity, so I think I need to try the Gucci one now 😁 great review! X

I never remember to use bronzer....I know! I could hear your gasp from all the way over here! I COULD say that I'm embracing my paleness....but the truth of the matter is... I just don't think of it😂😂 Give me ALL the blush though! Have a perfect day!❤
Initially, I refused to wear bronzer. I like being pale. I like matte makeup. However, I noticed my face flattened out and even with blush and a little highlighter, I still looked like a moon face. I am too inept to use contour and I heard bronzer could create some definition. A very small amount of light bronzer does wonders on adjusting that pancake face of mine. That said, I still prefer a matte bronzer to a luminous one as I fear it will only illustrate my pores and texture. Even highlighters I have to use a light hand. When you're middle aged, one can't be as glistening and dewy as someone half my age. It just looks ridiculous. I want my skin to look natural, but the best natural I can be.

I really like like the Charlotte Tilbury it blended better looked more natural, but I really like the sheen with the Guerlain! You’re eye makeup was flawless so beautifully blended! The pink really suits you! You are flawless, absolutely gorgeous! Cheers!

Before I got the CT bronzer, cream bronzers had been my preference for a long time because I’ve got such a heavy hand that powders always looked ridiculous. However I can pretty much go as heavy as I like with this one and it looks great. Now I’ve found my holy grail, that’s it 😀xx
Oh goody!!! I'm not even past 1 minute in and I'm dying of anticipation.... I have the CT in Med (LOVE) and Tan (struggling with...a bit dark??), and I just ordered the Gucci in #3 to see if it's better than the darker CT. Can't wait to see what you think.
I wear shade 1 from CT but it’s because I only want a hint of bronzer and in fair. If I want to use bronzer like most use them then it actually would be too light.

Love Charlotte Tilbury Bronzer don’t make me buy Gucci please ....I have CT one because I’m as pale as milk and it works.... When I first saw it though I was thinking no It won’t work but it does...I think I will stick with CT because the Gucci is slightly red.....Love ya girl♥️🇦🇺💋
Ooo I have the CT and find it a little patchy but that’s probably because I hate powdering, buuuuut I like that it’s matt so my natural skin comes through and I can add glow. Now I want to buy the Gucci though! Dam you haha!!! 🤍🤍🤍

I used shade 1 as a finishing powder lol thought it was worth the until I realized it was breaking me out (cornstarch) idk why she always puts that ingredient in her pressed powders.
I can't really help that 🤣🤣 there are lots of creators with lighter skintones than me who have reviewed the bronzers so they may be more helpful to you. I personally find it very hard to find reviews around my skintone being tan so I know its very helpful for others x
I got the medium shade in CT... I’m pretty fair but even I thought I couldn’t pull off the 1st fair shade! However I just can’t get it to work, no pigment, wonder if I’m using it wrong or got a dud one?? 😩
I like the Charlotte Tilbury one better, I don’t mind it being mat, the color is perfect, I think Gucci is a little too red. Hands down for me Charlotte Tilbury. Good video.
Great to know! I didn't mention self tan or teenagers at any point! I was referring to the reviews of fair/light creators that I've watched (who don't self tan either) x
