This is the first review that makes me confident to give it a try, particularly as you used it with the Westman Atelier foundation-plus you have similar coloring to me! Thank you. I wonder if you have thoughts on the comparison with other powders, like different setting or finishing powders from Chantecaille, By Terry, and Givenchy. Again, thank you for your reviews!

Catherine Adams thank you! I have some comps with the finishes of the Charlotte Tilbury and the Pat McGrath in a comment below. I think the by Terry and pat mcgrath are very similar to each other. The by Terry is more of a flat matte compared to the Gucci. The Givenchy prisme libre powders are a bit more of a slight blurring powder with a tint of color correction. The poudre premiere is more similar to the Gucci but less luminous. Both work well for setting and finishing but the Givenchy is more of an invisible matte meaning everything looks more matte but there is no extra luminosity and you can’t see it. I only have the Chantecaille perfect blur powder which is very different for me because it is a peachy blurring powder. I think that one excels more as blurring and giving a little warmth to the skin. I find it is matte with a teeny touch of a satin finish but still less satin than the Gucci. I hope this helps! Hey Lexi, that’s great the smell isn’t too strong & I love the packaging too. That is nice it has space to put another puff if you wanted too. I want to try the WG powder. I use to love watching him. The lip balm looks pretty too. The powder looks nice & that’s great it goes well with the La Mer foundation. It did hold up well after 6.5 hours. FW & have a great weekend

Lexi, you really speak my language. I use so much sunscreen I am realizing all I can do is add a little concealer and powder so not to have too much makeup. Just to take down the shine. I hope you will do a powder round-up soon!

Great review. Love your whole look. The shade I got for the powder was slightly too dark but it works as a light bronzer for me. I found it so difficult to chose the right shade. I got it from Harrods and they did not give numbers but descriptions of the shades which made it more problematic. When the refills are available I will get a 0.

Gucci really needs to do a better job of describing the colors. I find their site to be difficult to use. I think that makes it harder for the other retailers to be accurate too. It is such a shame!

Your eye makeup is beautiful. Lovely powder; however, I do not like Gucci lipsticks in any formula. I find them heavily fragrant and thick in texture. I have not tried the lip balm though. Enjoy your new makeup. Have a great weekend.

Hi Lexi, after three years, have your opinion changed on this powder? Comparing to the Sisley powder and the Chantecaille blur powder the Holiday version that we both love, how would this Gucci powder measure up to those two? Thanks

After a few years, I don't use this one that much. I still use the Sisley phyto compacte frequently and the new Chantecaille blur powder for the holidays. I'm also using the Sisley blur expert in 0 under foundation.

@@LexiJong Hi Lexi, in your powder round up video, you did mention that the Sisley blur powder is too dark for you. I suppose you agree more the brighter shade of this blur powder (that came out more recently). However you did mention that this blur powder gives a matte finish, right? A matte finish will make my face look so flat, though. Second, if we use the blur powder under foundation, will it block our pores? Thanks Lexi.

Hi ! I will definitely get the lip balm ! Wondering how matte the powder is ? I like to keep a glow but set down the tzone? How does it compare to the CT pressed powder or Pat McGrath pressed? You may want to wait on the lip balm and check out the new limited edition lipstick in the same shade. I ordered it but it says my order won't be here for a couple of weeks (2 Sephora orders a couple of hours apart and one is coming today and the other in two weeks, kinda funny!). I haven't tried the armani neo nude powder but I think this one is a bit more of a satin matte than the CT or PMG. They all act well for mattifying and setting the tzone ime but I am not super oily. Once this one sets in, there is a very subtle luminosity yet it still looks matte. The PMG is a more of an invisible matte on me - it mattifies and slightly blurs but doesn't change the look of your skin otherwise. The CT gives a subtle blur and mattifies with a teeny touch of satin imo. I think out of those, the Gucci and the CT are the most similar but the Gucci is a little more satin while the CT offers some blurring which I don't notice with the Gucci. I think the CT and Gucci both work for setting and finishing whereas the PMG I only use for setting. The PMG is still my favorite for setting under the eye. I hope this helps!

Lexi Jong thank You! I had rather have a bit more luminous with a powder!!! So I’m glad I asked you... I will look on your links !!! On another note I really like lip balm in a lipstick tube for easy swipe on application... The Hermès is sold out and Tom Ford lumiere is discontinued 😢. Any other suggestions for hydrating balm?
