@@Salmiyaguy1 They wouldn't be walking in a Gucci show if they weren't models (unless an artistic statement is being made). Perhaps they are new/lesser known models? I don't totally know; I guess I shouldn't be guessing. Has anyone seen the shownotes?
I Loved this collection.... The 20's, the 40's meets the 70's, Hippie, Boho, Ultra Glam ( Some of the gowns were just over-the-top Gorgeous), and Urban Ranch Garb is just Everything!!!! Very theatrical, with an oh-so modern take and every piece and every model looked like Stars on The Boulevard!!!! The music was just Elegant and Perfect...
@@maximilianasmr7202 Okay so according to your logic that makes it okay for BJORK to physically attack someone else? I don't think the reporter was at bjorks side 24/7... Bjork landed somewhere, the reporter asked a simple question and bjork jumped the reporter. If you want to defend that cool.. I will not visit your neighbourhood anytime soon😅
at first glance the pieces looks like mish mosh of kitsch, but they're incredibly contemporary and stand on their own, i dont know how alesandro does it, absolutely amazing.
From my perspective. The whole collection was as if they had gathered strays from the streets and given them a huge pile of second-hand clothes to dress as they wished.
This is truly the art of fantasy brought to life. Each model (to me) represents a character in a story. All of these perfectly imperfect humans, nothing matches, but everything matches. It's sublime.
@@melinaesposito3434 Sticks and stones. BTW my middle name is Melina. There is nothing beautiful or classy about this. It's just another way to make all this sick stuff look "normal". It is not.
I'm speechles. So beautiful. I've never seen a runway show like this ever. Genius! Each model was a different individual personality. The music was so moving. I'm so inspired. How Gucci will top this I'll never know. Magnificent!
@@kylefrom2003 Yes, Gucci have used her music and speaking voice in other runway shows. She's very unique and very talented. Her voice is extraordinary.
BJORK fits so well!!! first time I heard her in 2000, i thought, what is "this"?? But she was so far AHEAD of her time, that i wasnt understanding her.... HOW her music is so FITTING right now,??? with all the craziness we are going through! pandemic, masks, and isolation, depression, anxiety, maybe hopelessness, confusion, more so than ever IN OUR life times.... just like the people in Great Depression I guess, but i think we are more LOST than ever in our human history. MAGNIFICIENT!!! BRAVO GUCCI!!! 💯💢💯💯💯💢💥💥💥
The clothes are amazing, the bags, the variety of looks is just amazing. The stars on the breast of some models added to that 70's glam. Having the show on Hollywood blvd is rather genius!!!!!!
My thoughts exactly. Aubrey Hill stole the show in this pink gown. Kudos to the Hollywood A-lister who gets to wear it at the next red carpet event 💁🏻♂️😍
@@valbonaivezaj140 Nope....Nobody has to have lazy eyes or brain to see the strong thrift store vibes here. "Eclectic with many different era motifs" IS, IN FACT a main component of thrift store style. And it's not meant as an insult, I loved many of the looks. I'd call this collection more thrift shop CHIC tho, cuz none of this is gonna be cheap.
I'm trying to find one thing that I really like. Aside from the first one out the door (shoes were divine) I can't put a finger on anything worth liking.
Björk saved the day. I am not entirely convinced that this show had the glamour that one can associate with Hollywood, instead, I had this image of grunge hobos. Maybe it was the fitting of beautiful pieces on the wrong models, perhaps the styling was off or plain an simple many models that just did not sell the Gucci image…I long for the days of Tom Ford!
OMG...what a f.... show. i havent seen like this. models, walkings.. clothes... aaahhhgggggg is that awesome Gucci we remember and love??? bring it back please...
I like the looks on each model. But there does not seem to be a clear direction or theme. But each piece is good. I guess it's like a bunch of different people, with different sensibilities, going to a premiere.
@@granifulano LOL. Halloween Costume party? Really, that's a reach for a theme. Basically you can put a bunch of disjointed ideas together under one idea. But again, each piece looked great- but not together.
The theme is ‘retro.’ That’s why it looks disjointed to you. Retro as a concept, not colour or pattern per se that repeats itself. I hope that helps. Watch it again with that in mind, and it’s actually quite cohesive
Interesting, memorizing, so many fabric choices used to stage a beautiful stunning collection. The skills and the art show through. I cannot wait see the lucky people who get to wear Alessandro clothes bringing them to our attention again. Bellissimo, magnifico, squisito, molto bene Alessandro
Mesmerizing Representation of all eras of Hollywood✨📸.Alassandros collections ( really pay attention to the details) Brilliance ✨ Think in the eyes & mind of Him. You'll understand the beauty in every little detail ✨✨✨👁 Revolutionary, the future Speechless
If you think Gucci played it safe you should check out Dior SS 22. Dior invited some K-pop star to the show so all you read are people raving in the comments-but to me it was so mod-esque minimalist it was boring.
