Guenther Steiner opens up on shock Haas exit, Drive to Survive & potential return to F1 | Fox Sports 

Guenther has built such a strong fan base on his own he could create a spin-off Netflix show doing basically anything and a lot of people would watch. He’s a naturally funny and charismatic guy but also super smart. Personally I’d love a Netflix series called something like “F1: Uncensored” with Guenther following the season and giving unfiltered thoughts on what’s going on. He could tour different factories or also tour the lives of the drivers. Something broad in scope and access but with Guenther’s humour and deep insights. Would love it a lot

Guenther strikes me as a person with higher emotional maturity or development than many of us. He is quite entertaining because he chooses to expose himself more than most, but to follow up, I consider that to be due to his comfort with himself.

Guenther is a legend! The F1 world and fan base loves the guy.

I’m a huge fan of Gunther but I don’t place him in the same realm of a tier 1 F1 team principal. He’s just a wonderful character

His strength is building on a shoestring budget, and that he did with Haas. But I don't think his strength was the ongoing operation, where they should have handed over to someone else. He did his job to get the ball rolling, and he deserves the credit for that.

If Liberty media is smart they give him his own behind the scenes program. Make him an F1 officoal, to take in the fans even closer. Or make him race director and do the safety meetings 😂 that would be hilarious

Gunther built up the Hass F1 from the ground. For that he’s earned my respect 💪

i always thought he would be a PITA, but he's very eloquent and seems like a very likeable guy, would be nice to see him associated with a better financed team.

Ok am I the only one here who is disappointed we didn’t get one “fok” out of Guenther for this intervew?!!! Lol I gotta say Guenther is the reason why I have enjoyed Drive to Survive since its debut. I knew nothing nor cared about F1 until I started watching it and Guenther ALWAYS put a smile on my face. Going to miss not seeing him next season with HAAS but as he said all good things must come to an end. Great interview!

Haas are already doing better without Guenther...

Guenther is a bitter underachiever who got a taste of Drive to Survive fame, developed and addiction and now can't help but put himself in front of a camera - even if he's got no business being there. Some channels would want to interview him but his "high performance" has a been a failure, and Haas are already doing much better without him.

Finally Haas fired this absolute joker. Worst team boss ever. Finally Haas realized he had to fire the fake.

I have no idea why Haas is even there. Gene Haas is too cheap to ever take the next step. Haas kills driver careers and I predict the team is out of F1 by 2026.
