As an Iraq Veteran I can tell you that is exactly how the enemy fought us. Makes it very difficult to engage attackers if they blend in with the crowd. Usually we didn't even get a chance to return fire when ambushed. Hope it never comes to that at home, but freedom is worth bleeding for!
Beware of checkpoints/ thermal systems. They can pickup weapons under clothing sometimes. The MOST important rule is to leave your phone at home. Or get a bag that blocks all signals. It will track all your movements. Same with modern vehicles with navigation etc. If your phone or vehicle is traced to 3 different skirmishes, they will be at your house.
ham radio. the cell system as it is now tracks everybody. so your life is already plotted. if and when the cell system just might be down. if up then it will have full/real time tracking. ham radios have a very large band with to use so even for the government it would be impossible to disrupt all of it. old school tube type radios can only do cw, but can go outside the ham bands very easily. and not be effected by a emp. or detected very easily. and can work off a 9 volt battery, and a wire in the trees. just burst codes and done. then sounds. or lights. or even if a shade is open/closed. the flag at full mast up to the pulley, or down six inches.
Faraday bags certainly or tinfoil wrapped around the device will also work in a pinch for blocking all signals. Tried and tested the foil for cell block. May take a few wraps pending thickness of the foil. 👍Same foil trick can be done with chipped cards/rfid tech blocking.
I was in Colombia for a good while in the early ‘90’s during the “Drug War” as an advisor. What you are wearing isn’t a “movie trope” you’re wearing exactly what a “G” from the FARC would wear except the tall rubber rain boots.
I totally agree with this video, just keep in mind that the modern spotter for threat identification is looking at social media, text messages, bank accounts, and firearms registries. You don’t need to be armed or equipped to be a target. Watch your digital footprint.
Good point, and definitely true. I think for some of us, we see it as virtually unavoidable, and one of the compromises you have to make to help others learn, and show people they aren't alone in the least. Plus, those of us who were trained by them and worked for them, are definitely on their radar no matter what. Still, I agree that it's wise to be cognizant of what you do, say (and how you frame it), and definitely who you talk to.
I think those of us that post on Social Media about these kinds of issues, or who are vocal about being against the Biden Democrat Leftist aganda ( uncontrolled immigration, gun control laws, LGBT , drag queen and gender identity indoctrination in schools, anti Christian laws and persecution of Christians, and conservatives, defunding the police, and the increasingly more invasive and controlling laws) second Amendment supporters, Christians, Trump supporters, MAGA Republicans and who buy supplies, ammo, guns etc using credit cards or online are already on some kind of a list. Maybe even MAGA republicans are on that list too. It seems that Biden and his ilk have declaring that people, like this are a threat to the Socialist Democrat Leftist version of “democracy “ , and therefore are the enemy” One thing to consider for a guerilla fighter, is their families. The enemy will go after them hard , questioning them hard about you and your activities and whereabouts .Even questioning kids because kids wouid be easier to get info from. The neighbors may very well turn on your family so your spouse could lose their job, your kids bullied if they go to public schools. Your family could be harmed, by the enemy , the general public who has been fed lies about you or by those tye enemy hires to do this kind of harassment and harm. Your house could be targeted and harmed, burglarized. The enemy could also take your family , so you would try and rescue them and the enemy trap you. They could even post AI ( or real) images of your family being harmed to lure you in. You would need ro be aware of how you could be tracked , by your phone or GPS on your vehicles. Your friends and neighbors will be told you are a terrorist , a pedophile and any kind of slur they can invent so to convince friends and family to turn you in. You will lose your job, so no income. Your finances will take a hit with all your assets being frozen or confiscated. This wouid include any kind of gear Or equipment that you have stored at your primary home. One guy who owns guns, has been arrested in an Eastern state, his house was raided based on the Feds tracing what he bought online. So it’s certain that the Feds can track what you buy online, and act accordingly.
In Vietnam we couldn’t tell who was VC and who was just a farmer. Your right blend in, I would lose the military style belt in favor of a good leather belt like a Galco or something similar
Another issue to keep in mind is your footware. Trackers identify people by the treads on their boots. So if they take pictures of your boot pattern they can use that as circumstantial evidence against you to drag you in for "questioning". So you need to be prepared with a different set of boots for while you're on operations.
I would agree with wearing civilian clothing to blend in when in environments that require it. A lot of people unconsciously use camouflage as a status symbol rather than what it should be used for. I think there should be a solid distinction pointed out that camouflaged fatigues are still vital when used appropriately, such as in the wilderness or natural areas. Concealment is key in warfare and walking around the woods in flannels is a good way to get spotted, I’d do what Risky Chrisky does and get non standard or uncommon camo of your country, such as phased out camouflages or foreign patterns.
You're correct. In a non urban environment it may be necessary to dress in camo. But like all things mission drives gear and almost all missions done by a resistance force will be done in non-conspicuous clothing. In reality the majority of targets will be infrastructure and individuals. Why would anyone go near a target when they could easily drop an improvised boom device from a drone several miles away from the inside of their vehicle? If they do have to go near the target wouldn't it make more sense to dress in regular civilian clothing to not make yourself a target and carry concealed tools? Firearms really would only be used as a last stich effort to avoid capture. Not saying anyone should do this but anyone who thinks that combatants will be dressed in military clothing is silly.
@@antherthalmhersser7239 thermal is relatively uncommon and can be defeated. In the army we have been practicing ways to defeat thermals such as throwing tarps over your position, draping yourself in camo netting, putting yourself in hotter foliage, etc. none are flawless or 100% effective but it’s better than nothing and for damn sure better than rocking civvies
In my area, hunting camouflage (real tree or similar) is pretty common for people to just wear around, sometimes for hunting, but more often, just because people like it. I normally wear a realtree hoodie, because compared to other hoodies, it's a lot thinner/lighter and keeps me warmer, so in a situation like he is describing, I might continue to wear it
As someone who’s done a fair amount of “invisible” shit your tips and topic are on point. And guerrilla warfare in this country would be grisly. Nice work.
These are dangerous times. I don’t often post comments on this type of content but I felt it was important to share my thoughts. I have no idea who you are or if your a glowie, but the advice is sound unlike the former Green Berets/operators who are selling training and gear that will make you a target. Don’t get me wrong training is important, learning how to not die is a priority for those of us with families to support. The most important training is in the mind and spirit. May God have mercy on us in these troubled times.
I strongly suspect most of these former SOF dudes running training companies are part of a PATCON operation and they are secretly selling your info to the Feds. Glover has already admitted to doing such post January 6th.
Exactly...I am glad you brought up the operators selling the overpriced crap to individuals who don't know any better. I haven't heard to many folks use the term glowie in a while. Always a good thing to keep in mind.
My personal creed: Never wear camo in public. I wear camo on our property and then stay about 20' off the road in our very thick, wooded property. I have an OG LBV for my property-owner loadout. I'm old and jacked up, my self-appointment will be to help keep my area/neighborhood safe and support other's that are down for the cause.
I think your terrain can make a difference too. If you live in a small community or have lots of property and natural terrain maybe camo might not be to bad of an idea. If you are in the city, normal plain clothes are your camo. I believe in the gray man concept. To wear nothing that has identification on it. No brands, logos, names etc. Nothing tactical like boots and 5:11 gear. This stuff is recognizable and makes it easier for them identify you. Normal clothes of neutral colors and nothing on them is what you want. Clothes that look normal in urban settings but have natural colors that will aid if you need to slip into the brush. Not to much of one color because that will silhouette you. If every article of clothing is a different natural color it is a macro camo without looking like camo.
Luckily most military and police dudes aren't gun guys and don't know most of the smaller brands. Everyone knows 5.11 but could they identify a vertex concealment bag which has no logos on it? Probably not.
As I agree with everything except one point. Some kind of boot is preferred. Obviously no tactical combat style boots with the pants tucked in. I do however recommend a good pair of hiking boots or even your work boots. Those look normal with a pair of jeans over them. For me it is about having something really sturdy and tough for your feet that is all-terrain.
@@bringbacktradition6470 that’s what I was referring to, tactical boots. I agree with good foot protection too, good work boots would be best. Some redwings or something
A good and inconspicuous replacement for camo is natural colors that suit well the terrain of your area. Will get 80% of the way there for concealment but will still be civilian clothing for any identification purposes.
"Modern armies have a huge logistical tail." Yep. And there are way, way too many tactical channels whose creators come from the military or law enforcement teaching people to be careless with their equipment. A GI or cop can afford to drop empty magazines because Aunty Sam will just give him new ones at the taxpayers expense. As a guerrilla fighter where are you going to get new mags after you've thrown all of them on the ground during an ambush and then ran? Train how you're going to fight. An insurgent/militia type force is simply not going to have an endless supply of magazines especially considering that such a force will, of necessity, have a profligacy of different weapons platforms that are not always cross-compatible.
I heard about the seven to one ratio, and many of the other references you made, esp. concerning Sun Tzu's teachings. I'm glad you gave this teaching explaining practical ways to implement warrior strategies and tactics. Thanks.
Great video. Many forget these very important skills. The folks out in the middle east can also teach us a few things about what is coming if we look for it.
I've always believed the "gray man" tactic would become the primary method at least in more urban and suburban areas which is where most of us are located. The more tactical set ups will have it's place probably in more rural and wooded areas.
Great topic! As a side note I think it wise to invest in thermal cloaking. With drones, air assets, along with ground forces having thermal it makes it very difficult to disappear. In the PNW it’s very easy to disappear into vegetation. It’s always , dark , wet , and green. If you throw a heat signature you will be spotted. Subbed
unfortunately hiding under a thermal blanket gives you zero situational awareness... i guess it would work if you just want to hide in the woods for the rest of your life ant not ever actually effect anything... not to mention AI is pretty good at finding IR signatures that human observers miss...
@@xisotopex perhaps you should stay up with current offerings in thermal cloaking. There are options that actually let you see through them. For instance products by RELV. There is zero reason to hide under a blanket in fear. Having the ability to cloak oneself instantly is and tactical advantage no matter how you look at it. I myself like to afford myself EVERY chance of survival. So that I remain alive to “effect change” when it’s advantageous to me and my strategies.
@@saltyguerrilla I love reading a random comment and learning something new. I'm definitely checking out RELV now. Do you ever watch S2 Underground? There is some really good stuff there.
Ma uncle was a guerilla fighter in south Armagh brigade, this video was useful for me, hopefully I never have to use it but with everything that’s going on, it feels like it’s getting closer to the 80s and 90s Northern Ireland.
Western powers have never been great at low intensity conflict, etc. As I've discovered lately in research of Irish conflict, the British had to travel by helicopter in many areas due to road ambush
@@lindascott1874 Yeah, it was called bandit country the only people who had complete control over it where the IRA and some UDA units. I can't believe the RU-vid overlords allow this content. Good stuff. Get rural, get fit, know your neighbors, buy food, guns and ammo. If you can have a pizza delivered to your house, you live too close to town
@@micoolkidfilms3270 your uncle was a hero, whether he knows it or not. The main reason the lower counties have their independence is the efforts of men like him.
I think something that needs to be considered is you really want to avoid fighting where you live, if at all possible. Depending on the specifics of the situation, stopping them several miles out from where you live is always better. For that, you'll generally want camo and chest rigs, LBEs, plate carriers (depending on distance to target on foot, etc etc). In that case, while carbines/rifles & ammo capacity matters, you'll want to have a good understanding (and capability) of things like EFPs. TM 31-310, TM 31-201-1, FM 31-21, and TC 3-21.76, should be looked at as required reading, and have a real copy of each, to study, and train in what you (legally) can. I will say, having done "very low vis" work, I agree with your perspectives here. I just discovered your channel; so maybe you covered this already. I'd like to see you explore this area further. As in, certain scenarios might call for these types of operations, and having a good understanding of how to work effectively in that environment, especially as a larger element, is something we should all be comfortable with. Basically, it's cool being the German Shepherd, but sometimes you need to be a squirrel. CQB is fun to train (and good to be capable of, understanding different theories of CQB), but don't ignore the stuff like SSE. Even things like medical aid and logistics in this environment are important, get very tricky, and are often overlooked. Just my opinion.
Thank you for the references, now that I've read a few pages it is required reading no doubt and I will soon get myself a physical copy. No chance you could recommend any other army handbooks in the public domain that could be of use relative to other topics?
Logistics, communications, and physical fitness are probably the most overlooked aspects of unconventional tactics that I’ve noticed on every channel or book I’ve read written by people who have not done it professionally.
@mikedavis4851 Paranoid: 1. unjustified suspicion and mistrust of other people or their actions. "I got into a state of paranoia about various night noises which in daylight seems utterly silly" 2. the unwarranted or delusional belief that one is being persecuted, harassed, or betrayed by others, occurring as part of a mental condition. Note the words "unjustified", "unwarranted" and "delusional" in the definition. Now, if you consider both present and historical events, both in and outside of the US, you'll find the word "paranoid" doesn't even almost apply. I could write you a very long list of recent examples from within the US (which I personally doubt you're from), but that isn't exactly secret information, nor is any of it difficult to find. So, if you're being serious and consider yourself as having at least average intelligence, it shouldn't be a problem for you. I believe "vigilant", "prepared", and "observant" are all more fitting choices.
It pains me to admit you are correct. I never in my 57 years of life believed that an armed rebellion would be something that is a possibility. We live in scary times but burying ones head in the sand is foolhardy.
@@darren1450 ur wife is a woman she’ll never understand ur reasons to prepare yourself and your equipment for a possible battle. But she’ll appreciate u doing so when some commies kick down the door and u take them all out.
@@blazinggazelle6957 We have the same intuition. Approximately 10 years ago I was watching the news with my father in law, I too stated my view of the future, it was quite similar to yours, he is a very intelligent older guy and he and I get along great, but he did not like what he heard, he turned off the t.v., looked me in the eye and said, ‘ you really need to get some help, I want you to go see a professional’,…some time after he begged my forgiveness and apologized, inquiring how I had seen this coming,…
@@darren1450 Hey dude, I don't want this to come across as insulting or overstepping. I mean this to hopefully be helpful, as my wife had a similar response. It's going to be a bit long; so I won't be offended if you just skip it. I don't know if you're an "ex so and so" like myself, but if you are, this will help. If so, your wife probably is well aware of your experience and expertise. So, from your own professional experience, as well as many others with various relevant experience, feel this is likely, and preparing for it now will protect your family later. Women often view things from a perspective of wanting to take care of their family, including protecting them; albeit, in a different way than we do. It seems my wife gave up immediately because she knew kitting up and going to work wouldn't work well for her. Producing and storing food, however, turned out to be what got her through the door of preparedness. So, she made a really good garden, which she seems to enjoy. After that, she'll mention things like a path near our "bug out" location leading to the house, and having the ability to drop the trees across it, and asked if I could take out a bridge connected to it. My 14 year old daughter had me teaching her how to shoot a G19 accurately, with this whole subject in mind, and even decided to join FFA. Now, on holidays, they'll get me something like a pouch or whatever. My daughter recently got me a nice suture and surgical stapler kit (I was a medic as well). Point is, if you can take a less tactical/defensive violence approach, just to get her foot in the door with something she'll also enjoy doing (especially if you tell her how much you appreciate whatever it is), she'll probably slowly come around on this stuff. Though, it will mostly be in the context of you or your group doing it. So, she probably won't want to learn CQB tactics, but she'll be cool with important support tasks. That's just my experience. I sincerely hope that approach works for you. I'm sorry that was so long. I left out a lot of detail if you can believe that. Goodluck dude.
Important to remember we shot anyone over the age of 12 in the middle east for the past two decades if they looked even remotely suspicious. I think you're giving the government way to much credit if you think they will hold fire because you're a noncombatant. Where you are is much more important than how you look...
agreed. if there is any conflict men will be targeted no matter what they wear, so im sticking to my flecktarn and pre-dug hidey holes. cant get shot if they cant see me lol.
This makes sense, after all, small-scale harnesses can be hidden in jackets where plates are cumbersome and would slow down a quick-acting force, pistols fit easier into small holsters and rifles would need to be short for concealment, after all the basis for hiding from things like helicopters, drones, heavy vehicles, and support vehicles as well as ground personnel is blending in, the two c's cover and concealment tend to do this for you as long as the proper procedures are followed.
Great video brother. I’ve been explaining these concepts to people for a long time. Too many people focus on the Gucci gear and not on the reality of UW.
its funny that so many people think regulated means controlled or with limited weapons when in reality it means functional and well armed with ample supplies.
There’s a lot more that goes into this but it’s a good overall cover. I’d like to see more videos about how we track people(car registrations, fingerprints on discarded weapons, gait capture in urban areas); physical inspections(we used to identify Iraqi snipers by the bruises on their shoulder and marks on their knees and elbows from being in prone) and the prevalence of drones and sigint in the modern age
Just came across your channel..I liked you presentation and your mind set..so I subscribed..I'll be watching your older vids and look forward to the new ones. Stay safe
Your in my area. I'm glad to see there are more like me out there. I have a small group that I occasionally train with and teach them my 11b experience among other things.
Unless you're willing to give up every ounce of normalcy in your life like your family, your job, your pets, not being hunted down as a fugitive, and other creature comforts, I think you absolutely will live on your knees.
You want to elaborate on this? It’s not the 1980s or 1990s. There are video cameras everywhere, facial recognition software is everywhere. It doesn’t matter if you have the Perrier ambush or whatever operation you as a guerrilla are doing when three days later they can raid your house or just arrest you at your day job
Solid point. As much as I hated the mask mandates I told my wife back in 2020 well at least now I can walk around with a stocking hat and mask on and no one minds…
I completely agree! You most definitely want to wear normal everyday clothing to blend in with everyone else and not stand out and become a target. It's funny to think that the guy dressed in full tactical/military clothes wearing knee & elbow pads, plate carrier all decked out and combat/military type boots and ballistic/non-ballistic helmets and nods attached to it is going to stand out 100% and be a walking target and not only that but people are going to want what you have. Granted, yes those items are very important along with plate carriers sporting plates inside it and the helmets can save your life but all that gear puts a big bullseye on you and if anyone of you have been in the military you'll also know that all that gear is heavy especially the helmets.... Camouflage is good and it has it's moments to be used like everything else but allot of people will be wearing this gear when it's not needed unfortunately. I also see allot of people using FDE gear and if you live in Arizona or Nevada then it could be useful but I think the majority of people use it because our military used it and they did because of their environment in Iraq and Afghanistan. I personally love FDE but if I'm going to gear up it'll be Camouflaged for where I live and not because of what our military had worn.
My mother is from Colombia, and I have heard many stories about the guerrilla fighters. With the recent developments in Israel, and in Colombia, I feel the need to learn about Warfare in order to protect myself and my people!
I'm glad you bring this up. I have found to many channels about " tribes" and community protection whatever always referring to " defense". Defense only sustains and perpetuates status quo. Eventually offensive measures have to be taken to effect change or reverse oppressive policies and agenda.
yeah. fighter pilots have families. they need to sleep, eat, and refuel... if they start a war against us we will need to take advantage of every little thing we can and that means playing dirty.
@@alphawolfgang173 there needs to be a effective propaganda effort as well... you know that if anything was to ever happen, we would be dehumanized and demonized (as they already try to do) with ever label and accusation they can come up with.... fascist, nahtzee, pedophiles, racist, whyte supremes, etc etc... so there needs to be some way to counter that, to let people know that WE are the ones that want to PRESERVE the constitution, and the real enemy, the real authoritarians are not us... dont know how to accomplish that however, because even now, the leftists have pretty effectively dehumanized everyone that is opposed to them...
@@alphawolfgang173 the reverse is true also... the government wouldnt think twice about extra judicial killing of a family either... and then sell it to the public as "ok" because they are "bad"...
@@alphawolfgang173 Also remember that a lot of those fighter pilots may actually be on our side. Reaching out to them through their families and convincing them to steal those aircraft, land on an interstate, and burn it to the ground instead of using it against us might be a better idea than just attacking those people. Those aircraft have transponders and GPS so just keeping it isn't the best idea unless you can 100% confirm the removal of those things. Better yet convincing the pilot to expend his ordinance against the fuel or ordinance depot before landing the plane on the interstate to be destroyed would be even better.
I've recently changed my camo mindset to commercial clothing with certain muted / minimal plad shirts in green and black colors and earth tones with vibrant colored peices layered underneath to be exposed or covered. love the baggy russian camo over suits with civies underneath. easy in and out of the suits.
That's actually also some kind of camouflage. Always blend in into the environment, so camouflage must always be maintained to fit the environment. And actually using such stuff like tanks in urban areas will always backfire. They are good in open battle, but in urban areas not. Too much good locations for ambushes. And all it requires is a molotov cocktail at the right spot, not to destroy it, but disable it. And they sent you a free street barricade. Tanks have many things that don't like contact with burning liquid. Best example is the air intake for the engine, the track rollers have a layer of hard rubber, also does not like fire. And you can also temporary disable sights of driver, commander or gunner.
You mentioned F16's. Several months ago saw a news blurb of govt letting a contract for 70 turbo propcrop dusters. They were stripped down and then armed and armored with bombs, rockets and guns for ground attack. Meant to fly low and slow, operate from grass strips with minimal support. The story was they were meant for allies in eastern Europe. Doubt they got shipped.
yeah the government does have tanks and planes, but those tankers and pilots probably have families... yes a 2nd civil war will need to be fought in dirty ways.

I’ve just opened the book of this kind of situational readiness after the attack in Maui thank you all in the comments for extra info this whole video was an eye opener
Provided the situation you may find yourself in, blending into a populous might not be feasible. Considering where I live and ambush routes, it might be another hour to find a small town and another 5 to find a "city". However, dress is contextual and situational. Your multicam might help you in the sticks to avoid detection, saying your mission or situation calls for it when your civi clothes would otherwise stick out in the the forestry or mountains. The same could be said about mucking around in your BDU's in an occupied, "peaceful" town.
yeah im sticking with my flecktarn. many people around here already wear camo daily and if im gonna need to use my rifle there is no sneaking away or blending in with people. i just need to stay hidden from thermal drones and eyes. and honestly if im ever engaging with an organized force im likely going to die and i just need to accept that fact, lol.
Hello. Thanks for the video. I find it timely being that I watched the Washington Gun Law channel earlier. Mr. Kirk informed us that late Saturday night Olympia passed on the senate floor the "semi automatic long gun" ban. This is not okay.
It's honestly a shame that high threat concealment is gone, because wearing one of their belts, along with a crye lvs would be pretty good for a guerilla loadout. Easily concealable beneath a plaid shirt, or a softshell jacket.
I always thought guerrilla war fighters were like the Vietnamese. Light, quiet, fast and nimble. All the battle rattle you carry can be a hinderance as it’s almost impossible to keep up with them.
yeah, fast hit and run. no ones gonna go toe to toe with the US military in a prolonged firefight, they WILL win. but you can take out a vehicle or two and some dismounted troops and get outta there before any air support show up to finish you off.
Good valid points. My uniform of the day is levis, t-shirt, flannel or denim jacket if needed during winter. Can get away with camo during hunt season, but still wouldn't if shtf foreign or domestic has happened.
You should be thinking about security cameras and facial recognition software. Rather than buying yet another gun safe and filling it, you should be buying things like drones.
