I like that you are one of the few reviewing Guerlain. Their perfumes are special, don’t think they are getting the attention that they deserve.

I used to use this for years! Used to be 300, that was awhile ago! I miss it, would love to go back too, a little too much for summer though, got a ton of compliments on⭐️

It is good but just so soft... I like my fragrances to have a little more teeth

@@RamseytheRam that is the mood when I reach for it, when I want soft to simply relax into. When I crave some more tooth I reach for, in order of most bite to least -- but still with some assertiveness, aqua allegoria mandarine basilic or neroli outrenoir and if those are too much when I still need 'more' but not that much then it's just simple cruel gardenia to give me the lift I need to transport my senses properly.

That one gets alot of love. I’m curious to smell that one as well. I hear it’s semi dark? Like a winter scent but I’d still wear it

@@mattl7424I wouldn’t say it’s dark. Actually it is quite luminous in the opening with the pear and Angelica 😁

Great description Ramsey. I feel the same way about some of the older fragrances and classics. Almost as if you need to whisper lest you miss all of the gentile nuances. 🤫😌

Hey Ramsey, speaking of Guerlain, I'm actually looking into acquiring a current bottle of Mitsouko, but I am curious as to whether you think the EdT or the EdP is currently more worth the money?

@@RamseytheRam 🤣I know just joking. For a few months I did see it pop up on channels. Maybe it was during its release. It’s on my list , as I haven’t really smelled any Guerlains but I want to. I know it’s one of the oldest houses .

For me I would take Cuir de Russie over Cuir Beluga any day of the week... but that's just one Ram's opinion 🐏

@RamseytheRam if you want another great leather, in the same ballpark, try Ghibli. Probably the last fragrance to wow me in sometime

@RamseytheRam I went into The Scent bar in Hollyweird, sniffed a bunch of new stuff that bored the hell out of me for the most part. Then this line truly impressed. Ended up settling on Ghibli. Probably the best performer/ somewhat original to my nose concoction. Cheers

Honestly this is a rare one where I don’t understand all the love. I can see all the talk of “expensive, supple, woman’s purse-type leather” for Cuir D’Ange, but this one is just a synth vanilla bomb to me. Maybe I got a bad sample 🤧

Well cuir d'Ange literally translates to Angel Leather... this is going more for Suede & Guerlain style creation... I like it but wouldn't buy a bottle even if I could 🤷🏻‍♂️

Damn it is a soft fragrance... too soft for me I'd say. I share the same opinion, if got a bottle for an insane bargain, I'd wear and overspray it, otherwise I'm not going to spend my money on it.
