Vladimir Guerrero is inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.

I bought his Angels autographed Jersey in 2013 and i'm so proud he made the Hall of Fame because he deserved it more than anybody. I also have his autographed baseball. Don't care how much they are worth in the market because to me, they are worth millions. Vlad "The Impaler" Guerrero #27 will always be my favorite HOF'er.

Wrong Rod Carew is the First Angel even though he Vladimir started his career with another team the Twins.

As an Angels fan, it brings me so much joy having Vlad in the Hall as and Angel. The first ever! With that being said, he’ll always be an Expo. I hope Canada does not resent him for choosing the Angels hat.

The one thing that always stood out about big daddy vladi. He never wore batting gloves and swung for the fence. Imagine vibration off those constant fouls. Congrats vlad!

He was truly one of the most raw 5-tool talents I've ever seen. The last few years of his career were a little disappointing and he declined sooner than I had hoped, but watching him play baseball was exciting. After I saw him play the first 2-3 months of his career in the major leagues, it was obvious this guy had great potential to become a Hall of Famer.

@@didoma73 Why should he be ashamed? Most gringos are monolingual and so when they go to latin América they expect locals to speak english. Most feel if they are visiting and spending money locals are supposed to bend over backwards to please them.

Vlad Sr should have the expos hat instead of the angels hat in the HOF, but i guess he wanted a team thats still playing to retire his jersey.......Lastly com on Vlad Sr you can speak English!!!

Your right its not the players choice, did some research on that, but how the HOF committee chooses angels over expos is laughable, Andre Dawson won a MVP with the Cubs and still went in wearing a Expos hat. Its where your career had the most inpact which in Vlad Sr case was Montreal.

Vlad did achieve most team success as an Angel, though (won AL MVP in 2004, went to the postseason with the Angels in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009.)

Angel fans feel the same way with Nolan Ryan. Nolan played his best years and had his most no-hitters as an Angel, but went in wearing a Rangers cap.

Wes Sidner Nolan Ryan should have wore a Angels hat for sure, but Vlad Sr had great (team) success with the Angels and won a MVP, but when he was in Montreal he was amazing one of the games best at that time.
