Guess That 80's Cartoon Theme!!! 

Until my dying day, I will always remember the theme song for Inspector Gadget.

The 80's will always rock. Long live the 80's.

The 80s was a great time to be a kid.....period.

Disney Afternoon: chip n dale, gummi bears, tale spin, duck tales. Then darkwing duck. Cartoon perfection.

No Alvin and the Chipmunks, Rainbow Brite, or Ritchie Rich? Some of my favorites back in the day!

I was such a Jem fanatic!! Had the dolls & played the cassettes that came with them over & over!! Just bought season 1 on DVD. Such nostalgic memories.

I can listen to Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers all day long

The 80s where they ACTUALLY put real effort and enthusiasm into amazing theme songs. I got most of them and was singing along with all of them

Now why did I have SO much fun doing this?? It's amazing I was able to remember so many shows...but also the lyrics after all these years! Made me sad at the end cause I realize how awesome my childhood was and how I was able to witness so many classics that today's youth will never get to see because of so much trash on tv.

There were a couple in there that I had never heard of and I was a major TV junkie.

Thank you so much for this. Took me back to my childhood when there were REAL cartoons you could learn from and entertaining.

Wish there was a streaming service that gave you all the old cartoons. The stuff they have out now is utter rubbish.

So, where's Dungeons and Dragons? Dangermouse? The Pink Panther? The Seven Cities of Gold?

I really feel old and sad at the same time. I wish I had more time to enjoy the 80s than I actually got the chance to: the cartoons of today honestly don't hold a candle to the cartoons of back then.

Even though I was born in '97 these cartoons were my jam growing up

I remember watching some of these cartoons on the ABC Network during the weekdays between 4 and 5 p.m. and also on Saturday mornings

My favorites that i watch the most, i picked up on in the first 2 seconds. Number 5 was most memorable due to the fact i raced off the school bus to get home just in time to catch the start of 3pm-5pm cartoon lineups. And of course a bowl of cereal in hand.😁

I got most of them I think. A couple I never heard of, I am not sure if I was just too young to ever see them or they didn't air over here...:D Thanks for the fun nostalgia :D

I grew up in the '80s, and I'm surprised by how few of these I knew. I recognized less than half of them.

A lot of these were never aired in South Africa where I'm from, but I got all the ones that were. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. There are a lot that weren't in the montage as well.

I got most of those; the only ones I missed were Punky Brewster, Cops, and Spider-Man. It helps when you grew up in the decade and since I was born in '84, I certainly qualify.

The great list! I actually only missed the Visionaries.

I feel like you can easily tell the early 80's themes from the late 80's themes... the tonal shift seems so dramatic compared to other decades

He man, GI Joe, care bears, inspector gadget , little muppets, gummie bears My little pony, duck tales. Valtron, thunder cats, brave star. Ghost busters, transformers, there is a lot where I am kind of familiar with the theme song but I can't remember the name of that song. Very fun thank you

I was born in the late eighties and I remember watching these shows growing up I wish I could go back in time as an adult it'd be so much simpler compared to now oh I miss the sounds of the past at least cartoon violence back then wasn't realistic compared to now back then it was funny

I'm surprised. I got 23/25 correct. Yeah, I watched a lot of TV as a kid and rented even more from the video rental store. Oh the joys of watching the VCR eat tapes from the rental store while laughing my butt off while my parents bug out over it. XD

Born in 2000, came to see if Care Bears was on here. I was obsessed with all things Care Bears when I was little. Both 80's and revival period up to '06. (2006 is when I got into Littlest Pet Shop, and I haven't stopped collecting those ever since.)

#12 & #20 I've heard of but never really seen, so I wasn't familiar with them, and I never heard of #21. The rest were super-easy and #11, #19 and #25 gave me big-time goose bumps.

My problem is I'm still singing the last one when the next one starts. But the only ones I missed were ones I never watched. (Or in the case of Visionaries, never even heard of.) Also, it's kind of sad how many of these theme songs I have on my MP3 player right now.

I missed My Little Pony, Wheeled Warriors[ I recall always missing this show as a kid when it came on. I think it aired at the same time as something else i wanted to watch], and Spiderman. 22 out of 25 ain't bad

Perhaps it was because it was the first cartoon I watched as a young kid, but my all time favorite into was The Gummi Bears, the Lyrics as well as the scenes were good.

I got 13 of them, 6 almost instantly. Instant recognition: 5, Chip&Dale Rescue Rangers; 7, Inspector Gadget; 10, TMNT; 14, DuckTales; 15, GummyBears; 16, Smurfs, and 24 Ghost Busters. Got there eventually on 1, He-man; 4, G.I. Joe; 8, Muppets Babies; 17, Jem; 22, She-Ra; and 25, Transformers. I am very embarrassed that I didn't recognize the Spider Man theme before it was stated. I'm off to watch some remedial Spider Man cartoons.

For a challenge, I watched at 1.5 speed; I still got some, though there were some shows that I never heard of before.

One of the advantages of being an early 90s kid in Australia: most of our cartoons & anime were American imports 5-10 years out of date. I only missed number 13 out of the entire 25 series selected.

Damn, most of them I only know in Dutch! Lol

What I miss the most about the 80's is... not just the AWESOME cartoons.... but the hidden toy in the cereal... and the Kids Meal at MCDONALD'S!!!! And especially Saturday MORNINGS!!!!! FROM CHUCKY CHEESE TO SHOW BIZ PIZZA.... FROM FUN FAIR PARK TO PUTT PUTT GOLF... THAT'S BATON ROUGE, LA... FROM ASTRO WORLD TO WATER WORLD... THAT'S HOUSTON, TX...
