Red team game 1 had one of the hardest setups I’ve seen in Codenames. Its hard to explain why except every 2+ hint I could think of would clue a red herring. Even obscure hints like “leggy” (goat + spider) could plausibly clue saddle, kung fu, even queen. All red’s words other than grace have a travel and/or nature association which makes Oasis a brutal assassin word.
If you have fewer than 6 players, then it can actually be a lot more fun to play Codenames Duet, the coop version of Codenames. It's playable on that site as well. You should try it some time.
I know this is taking it a bit far but Spider could also fit with Engine, I believe Spider is the model name of a car. Fiat 124 Spider Mclaren 600LT Spider Alfa Romeo 4C Spider
In the first round when I saw Peach and Spider were Ash’s prompts my brain immediately went to guessing Aenne 2 as the prompt😂 (as I wrote this I realized Price would have definitely thought it was peach and vet😅)
I think southern(3) might have been something ash could have tried in game 1. Antarctica is obviously south. There's also the bible belt in the south which relates to grace and also peaches are grown in the south.
We’re seeing Ash’s view, so he can see the colors of the cards. Aenne and Price don’t see the colored cards, and have to guess their team’s cards based on the clues. The numbers with the clues imply how many cards that clue applies to.
