This show reminds me of the original Jeopardy! (with Art Fleming and Don Pardo) in which the point was the fun of the game and not the piddling amount of money that was at stake.

You can count on Britain to make a good quiz game show. Found this recently, and I am enjoying it. Not all the participants are great, but there are a quite a few that make really good, educated guesses, and it shows the quality of education and knowledge that exists outside the US.

Maybe someone who's more familiar with the show can help me out here as someone who was only taken to Pointless by RU-vid a few days ago. How is it that contestants can appear on more than one show? Isn't the idea of game shows generally that they have new contestants every day? I had thought that the idea was that unlike shows such as Jeopardy! in which the winner returns, for Pointless, it's the loser who returns the next show, but I've seen references to people who made it to the head-to-head being back. How do they determine who gets to make an encore appearance?

he is just a friend, she said it on previous episode. Even after they (He) won, she just gives him a Cold Hand shake, not a kiss or a Hug... Friendzone forever.

Any western? Seriously? Not for nothing...but I think I could give a couple dozen pointless answers... Are Westerns not that well known in the UK? Edit...Right...they have a multiple choice round in the first... Sorry...got used to the earlier format recently...
