Guess the WWF Wrestler by the WrestleMania 2000 Video Game Character Model! 

Al Snow was not Perry Saturn and he wasn't punished. He developed the gimmick in ECW after reading a book about abnormal psychology and finding a mannequin head on the street near the ECW arena during a Mummer's Day parade. It was a freaking great gimmick.

Perry Saturn's punishment was a "mop". The mannequin head wasn't a punishment. It was an idea Al got from his "good friend" Mick Foley (Mankind).

While he’s not Perry Saturn and never wrestled for WCW, Al Snow did have a couple different gimmicks in WWE. He debuted as Avatar, a power ranger like wrestler, then became Leif Cassidy the tag partner of Marty Jannetty in the new Rockers.

Not only was the Head not a punishment for Al Snow (who is a VERY different wrestler than Perry Saturn) at one point Head made Al Snow one of the hottest and most talked about pro wrestlers in the world, but then WWE recalled him from ECW (who they had a working relationship/partial training partnership with at the time) and had no idea what to do with him and he very quickly turned into a comedy jobber.

I need Dante to acknowledge that Al Snow and Perry Saturn are NOT the same person...they do this a lot.

Al Snow was part of the Job Squad when he was doing the "Head" gimmick. Perry Saturn WAS punished, but it was over a separate matter yrs later, and the gimmick he was given was being in love w/a mop named Moppy. Surprisingly it got over with the fans.

I played WCW/nWo World Tour, Revenge and Wrestlemania 2000 so much, that this actually isn't that hard for someone who bought them when they were released. Very entertaining video guys 😄

Hey, it's my quiz! That game was my introduction into WWE/WWF, so making that was so fun, and I loved the video. There's actually enough wrestlers to make 2 more of these, although I think I may only make 1 more because we start getting into really deep cuts with some of the people.

"Albert" was an interesting guess, given that Albert debuted as "Prince Albert", Droz's personal Tattoo Artist. "Shaw Stasiak" is also an interesting guess because he is actually IN the WrestelMania 2000 game under the gimmick of "Meat". Also an interesting bit of Trivia, Prince Albert's first singles match in the WWF was against Meat.

It's wild to think that we looked at these graphics once upon a time and thought about how real it looked. 🤣

I have been training for this day my whole life. Sweep city here i come. *edit* also it's crazy to me they get Blue Meanie right consistently but have no clue on Al Snow. I guess you had to be there at the time, I remember Al being real big for maybe half a year and disappearing.

Al Snow started using head in ECW if I remember correctly. and Saturn was given the mop gimmick after being to rough with a jobber guy, and almost hurting him to bad if my memory serves me right. 2 different people

This was a great idea for a quiz. I had lots of fun playing along. Didn't do too well, though. Mainly because I guessed Bubba Ray Dudley for half of them.

I honestly thought Droz was Naked Midian, and it hit me just before the reveal that it was Droz (the facial hair clicked) RIP Darren "Droz" Drozov.

That Jeff Hardy one is basically Raven's model as well. To me they needed more to separate them because back then with older games some models looked the same.

Perry Saturn had "moppy," which was a punishment handed to him via creative. While Snow had "head" as part of his persona in ECW, he would use the same persona when he returned to the WWF, but he would eventually have to drop "head" from his character, which led to the introduction of Pepper.

Kama Mustafa was his character after Papa Shango and before Godfather. He had Kama from 1995 to 1998. It was just Kama and then added Mustafa after joining The Nation

Always amuses me when these young blokes don't know attitude era characters like Al Snow. Then I realise I was a teenager then and feel old.

Al Snow was never in WCW. He was in ECW a couple times. In fact that’s where he developed the crazy Al Snow and Head thing. I his early WWF stints, he was Leif Cassidy (New Rockers) and Avatar (almost a quasi-Power Rangers thing). Saturn was in WCW and WWF. Also, Steph’s character looks like Bruce becoming Caitlyn.

This one was good. You should make a part 2. The faces, I think are just digitalizations (of that era) of actual photographs of the wrestlers. And then shapes are sometimes adjusted (smushed or stretched) to fit the size of the standard wrestler model so that the wrestling moves don't look wonky. So hence the weird color/shape differences.

NOTHING about #6 says "Jeff Hardy" I agree, that was Raven!

Man, what's sad is I owned this game and played it regularly for probably a decade before getting rid of my N64, and I still missed about 4-5 here. For its time, it was the best console wrestling game. Had a fun create a character mode, a solid story mode....was definitely my favorite back in the day!

I spent many a hours playing this game. They also had a super indepth (for the time) customization process for Create a Character.

Now that one would be REALLY difficult, as most of the songs didn't sound like the originals, but you could also try guessing characters by their music from the no merci videogame.

Number 13 kicked my a$$. I had no idea who that even was. Thinking back then, who could that be, and i LOVED this game, i randomly guessed Scotty 2 Hotty. First ever Sweep City for me. Great quiz!

I got all of these right. I grew up with these games so I'm very familiar with the in-game models. I also like to test myself on who I'm looking at randomly. Cuz a lot of them are a little bit hard to imagine who their real life counterpart is.

This was so much fun to watch since I spent hours upon hours playing this game back in the day. Somehow, we thought the graphics were amazing… This is also the first time ever I would have beat either of you. And I’ve watched dozens of your quizzes.

Perry Saturn's punishment (having a mop for a girlfriend!!) was punishment for absolutely annihilating a jobber during a match instead of just giving him a receipt for a couple of stiff shots, like he should have.
